They are cupping and lifting. Throughout residence, they are not adhering to the subflooring. They sound hollow and move like floating floors. They have splintered edges and gaps between planks. They did not install a transition piece from hardwood to cement in the mechanic closet. They did not install caulking at patio door where hardwood meets door frame. The caulking around the tubs and exterior doors extremely sloppy with gaps. Tape denotes where the hardwood floor is not adhering to subfloor. Hollow sounding with the hardwood giving to walking throughout residence. Floor touchup marker was used to cover large area of scratches. They didn't protect the floor when they were installing hardwood. Worked inside of home, and the interior of my furnace is hardened with sawdust. See photos.

Our deep desire was to replace the old carpet/laminate/etc. with real hardwood. We wanted a classic look. We contacted Mr. Sandman (Josh) based on a recommendation and were not disappointed! The recommendation to call Josh came from a flooring outlet shop in town (UFO Flooring on Velp). When one professional confidently recommends another - that's usually a good sign. From the start, Josh was great to work with. He met us at our home and took the time to walk through it, understand what we were looking for, and answer all the questions we had. He explained the pros/cons of different materials, talked about installation methods, and offered suggestions to help us stay within our budget. He really cared that we were happy not just with the finished product, but also with the experience of working together. I was very impressed with his knowledge of the little things, his attention to detail and the fact that he takes such pride in his work. I could stop now and it would still be a good review. However, the thing that really put Josh over the top was his customer service. When picking a contractor, sometimes you're lucky just to get someone who does good work OR is friendly to work with - Josh exceled in both areas. He's one of the nicest and friendliest guys you'll ever meet. The best way I can describe it is - if you're throwing a neighborhood BBQ - you're absolutely inviting Josh to stop by! He and his crew did great work, and I'm sure it will last a long time. But when the day finally comes to have it refinished - there's no one else we would call!

The team went above & beyond what was required. The communication is great w/ all employees. They really care about the homeowners they work for from start to finish. The team were so kind to my dogs that they're going to miss having the team around. So far they've been great for us. The most recent example was today. I had spent the entire morning trying to get our sump pump to work, and had tried everything to thaw the pipes. I had come to the conclusion that maybe it was the pump itself that was having issues, so I decided to give them a call. The person I spoke with was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, and had someone sent out same day to take a look. I believe his name was John and he was excellent. Super friendly and knew his stuff for sure. In the end it did turn out to simply be frozen pipes, but John took care of it, and not to mention had to work outside on the coldest day we've had in a long time.
