I had a very disappointing experience at this transfer station. The website clearly states that it…read moreis open Monday through Friday, but when I arrived, I was turned away and told it was closed and that I needed to go to the Bow Lake transfer station instead. When I politely asked the employee in the booth why the station was closed despite the posted hours, she responded, "I don't know," in a rude and dismissive tone while eating her food. I asked again, pointing out that she worked there and was hoping for some explanation, but she simply repeated, "I don't know," just as rudely. I understand that closures and operational changes happen, but customers deserve accurate information and respectful treatment. If the station is closed during its posted business hours, the website should be updated to prevent people from wasting their time. More importantly, staff should be willing to provide basic information professionally instead of dismissing customers' legitimate questions.

Brandon is no longer with the company, and the new technician who came out not only attempted to overcharge us but also expected us to help with the work.
