We heard about Valley Pro Tree Services in a Facebook neighborhood group. They recently completed a job cutting up 2 oak trees that fell in the last major storm and did an excellent job. Besides cutting the trees into manageable sizes, they moved the logs closer to the road for easy access & chipped/spread the rest. Highly recommend Cody & Kevin. I started to remove a tree because the roots were taking over the yard and getting into everything including under my foundation. After removing quite a few branches, I realized I couldn't reach high enough with my pole saw to take small pieces down. Climbing was out of the question because I had no branches to hang onto. One of the big branches was leaning right over a Fire Hydrant. I did not want to risk hitting and breaking it. I contacted about ten tree service companies from other references. All were very expensive, just to get the tree on the ground. Some wanted to include clean-up, which I did not need. Kevin gave me a price by looking at the picture and satellite image. He gave me a price for putting the tree on the ground and another price that included cleanup. I just wanted the tree on the ground. By far, he offered the best price. He didn't try to sell me the clean-up service, which I could do myself. He is fully licensed and insured. His employees have workman's comp. He was nice enough to make time with his busy schedule to come over and put this tree on the ground. Kevin knows what he is doing. With one notch, one cut, and wedges, he gently put the tree Exactly where he wanted. It didn't go anywhere near the Fire Hydrant. He even cut up the larger pieces for me. Valley Pro Tree Service is the company to call when you want your trees and yard to look their best. Kevin and Cody trimmed, pruned and shaped every tree (and other parts of my yard) so it would continue to grow and look fantastic. I met them when they were taking down large trees and cleaning out a gigantic redwood in my neighborhood. Nicest owners you will ever meet. They gave me a bid verbally and followed up with one in writing. You can not beat having an arborist work on your yard. There are so many "landscapers" that do not have knowledge about trees and plants. These guys do. Sound expensive you say...Actually, they are very reasonable and were more than competitive with others that do not have their license and knowledge. That is why many of the neighbors ended up hiring them too! I love my yard and I love my trees and I do not entrust them to just anyone. A Big branch broke out during a storm from my Australian Blackwood tree. I wanted to maintain as much of the tree as possible to screen my view of the powerlines. Kevin and Cody did an excellent job, for a reasonable price. They were able to save much more of the tree than I expected, and yet prune it back to not have more branches break. Cody and crew came out and were on time, very professional and listened to what we needed. Got it all done including the stump removal at a fair price.
