Terrible, terrible experience. WE DO NOT recommend AT ALL (RUN)…read more Paid cash and waited 4 weeks for delivery (only after I called from not hearing from anyone), then it sat in multiple boxes strewn across the yard for another 3 1/2 weeks after high heat/rains, it was a mess as you could imagine. Then the Subcontractor came and ripped the liner off ground from old pool I took down and didn't come back for weeks (instead of coming to FINISH ours, he would go to others claiming he couldn't bump them, but continuously bumped me), which THEN CAUSED a MUD PIT.. it cost me more money to get modified stone then and constant labor to "try" and keep it dry.. it was a mess, then only then after repeated calls they finally came back and put the pool up and left an ABSOLUTE mess.. I now have to hire someone to remove the mounds and mounds of piles they left in the yard, on top of the empty boxes and garbage... this was hands down thee worst experience. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT go here. Don't make the same mistake we made, horrific experience, absolute shame.

We purchased our pool in May. Paid in full. Waited a few weeks knowing they were busy. They…read moredelivered the pool supplies at the end of June. Which are now still sitting there in the yard ruining the grass. Then they outsourced a excavator. Who dug down deeper than the pool installers said needed to be done. He came and right off the bat tried telling us things were going cost more money due to rock and being uneven. We had all the supplies in the yard he needed. Fill, tamper etc. He said he had to come back with a different machine and could use our stuff but it will be an additional $400/500 dollars. So we ended up leveling it ourselves. Now waiting for the installer to come. 8 weeks now. Absolutely crazy. I called the store manager. She couldn't get back to me. Dorothy said it would be set up and done by the beginning of July. Dave in the warehouse says he doesn't know what their schedule is. My next step is calling the attorney generals office to report the bad business practices and services of this company. We did not order a pool in May to be able to use at the end of the summer. I understand the Covid issues however most of the counties have been in the green since the middle of June. I think the new norm is blame Covid for not providing good customer service. Outside work does not have the same guidelines as if your working in an office. Also according to Dorothy they didn't have much above ground pools left they were almost sold out and that was in May. The installers that came out to check after the excavator said he did not need to go down that deep and we could have raised it instead of digging down. We were filling it in at the time they came and they said what we were doing was good. They only need two inches. As you can see from our leveling job the ground did not need to be excavated 5-7 inches down. It just needed to be level. The excavator also left us a mound of dirt we have to remove, when when we asked him to move it to the other lot for us, he of course had to come back with a bigger machine and it would cost more. We had to refill in 3-4 inches what he took out. And level it ourselves. Right after I wrote the initial review we were called and told the pool would be installed the next day. However it's now 11:30 the next day and the pool man said it's hot, the guys feel like they are going to pass out, we can make it tomorrow. We said so we ordered the water the next day because you said you'd be here today, do we need to cancel it? He said he will try to be there by 1pm, we shall see. This is seasonal work, pool installation is only done in the summer and spring. yes it's hot in the summer, no surprise there. Pool installers did not finish on the day they came out. Coming back again.

In June of 2018 we purchased a Radiant pool from A & J, we are extremely disappointed…read more If you're considering a Radiant Pool you might reconsider. Take all warranties, and contracts to a lawyer for review first. This is such the case that we found with Radiant Pools, the warranty was not honored, and workmanship was atrocious. Buying a pool is a serious and costly decision for a homeowner. After months of research and a phone calls, we settled on Radiant Pools. Information of two pool dealers in our area were provided to us by Radiant. Upon further research we found out one had negative reviews with the BBB and the other had positive reviews for their store but didn't see anything about installations. We now know why. The dealer, A & J Pools in Brodheadsville, PA, hired an inexperienced installer, Zumba Pools of Wilkes-Barre to install our pool. The installer made a mess of our property and destroyed the concrete patio. They rushed to fill the pool with water leaving wrinkles and divots on the floor of the pool making it uncomfortable to walk on. Instruction manuals were not given to us, the dealer had to come back numerous times to finish the job, per the installation guide created by Radiant Pools, which to this day is still not complete. There are sharp edges and loose wires for the light that have never been connected. In the 8 weeks that we could use the pool it was winterized and covered per Radiant Pools documentation for the winter. Upon opening the pool this year, we noticed a large hole in the liner about 12 inches from the top. We notified the dealer, and Radiant Pools, and were told by both there is nothing we can do. We have signed contracts that the liner was warrantied for 1 year, but they continue to ignore and deny any kind of site visit to see if the pool was installed properly.
