Fill, tamper etc. He said he had to come back with a different machine and could use our stuff but it will be an additional $400/500 dollars. So we ended up leveling it ourselves. Now waiting for the installer to come. 8 weeks now. Absolutely crazy. I called the store manager. She couldn't get back to me. Dorothy said it would be set up and done by the beginning of July. Dave in the warehouse says he doesn't know what their schedule is. My next step is calling the attorney generals office to report the bad business practices and services of this company. We did not order a pool in May to be able to use at the end of the summer. I understand the Covid issues however most of the counties have been in the green since the middle of June. I think the new norm is blame Covid for not providing good customer service. Outside work does not have the same guidelines as if your working in an office. Also according to Dorothy they didn't have much above ground pools left they were almost sold out and that was in May. The installers that came out to check after the excavator said he did not need to go down that deep and we could have raised it instead of digging down. We were filling it in at the time they came and they said what we were doing was good. They only need two inches. As you can see from our leveling job the ground did not need to be excavated 5-7 inches down. It just needed to be level. The excavator also left us a mound of dirt we have to remove, when when we asked him to move it to the other lot for us, he of course had to come back with a bigger machine and it would cost more. We had to refill in 3-4 inches what he took out. And level it ourselves. Right after I wrote the initial review we were called and told the pool would be installed the next day. However it's now 11:30 the next day and the pool man said it's hot, the guys feel like they are going to pass out, we can make it tomorrow. We said so we ordered the water the next day because you said you'd be here today, do we need to cancel it? He said he will try to be there by 1pm, we shall see. This is seasonal work, pool installation is only done in the summer and spring. yes it's hot in the summer, no surprise there. Pool installers did not finish on the day they came out. I had the water tested and the guy sold me every item that the report told him to. I left spending almost $75. Out of curiosity, I took the same water sample over to Carlton. Wellllll, they told me to just put in a certain chemical which thankfully I already had at home so I didn't need to buy anything. I went home, did what Carlton told me to do and my water was fine. I swiftly returned to Leslie's to return all the chemicals they told me I needed. I will never make the mistake of going to Leslie's again for chemicals. Carlton doesn't just sell you every chemical. They know the water business well enough that they recommend the most important things to make your water clear again.

Now the Bob's way is that if anything is done wrong or damaged they will come fix it. So we set a date and time and the only time they had was 5 days later so I was left with a shakey tabel that had metal sticking out. I have a wife and kids I now had to inform couldn't sit at our new table. On the day to arrive they were 2hrs late and I had to go to work and reschedule. I did inform the customer service of this and that I was very upset. The soonest they could reschedule for was a week later. So another week before we could use our new dining room table. Finaly the service guy came on time fixed everything made the tabel look good and work the way it should. So I called customer service to see if they would remove the $69 delivery and installation charges well no I had received a $25 giftcard for the inconvenience and $25 giftcard for the service tech missing his time. They would hold it there, And that I could pick it up in two weeks. They added an extra week for me to pick it on myself, which made no sense. Now the delivery I had today for my own bedroom set one of the rails was broken But still usable. They said they needed to take it back so that they can get a new one. I said, can you just leave this one here for now because I already Got rid of my old bedroom set in anticipation for this new one. They said I could keep the broken piece, but then they wouldn't be delivering a replacement. I said that makes no sense. I obviously don't want this broken piece and if they really want it back so bad why can't they just take it when the new one gets delivered so that I can at least use a bed and not have to sleep on my couch for days. They told me I had no options. You would think when somebody spends 8000$ with you and you have both of these kind of mess ups, they would at least waive the delivery fees.
