Each time I have visited this store, it has been tidy and mostly clean. The section that impresses me most is their livestock feed area... it basically has its own room for the multiple pallets of feed sacks. The drawback for me was the lack of price signage. Overall, though, the friendly employees, affordable prices, and rewards program are why I give this place high accolades. Tractor Supply on!

Alamosa is about an hour and 15=20 minutes away, not much more than Pueblo or Trinidad. The appt. was made very quickly. The office staff and 2 veterinarians I met were fantastic. Thorough , professional and very pleasant. Costs were reasonable. Though the results were not what I hoped for, but the staff was very caring and comforting at a bad time for me. I will drive the 3 hours to Colorado Springs before I ever take them back there. Their vet supposedly cleaned and extracted a tooth on my male doxie. He created a fistula in my dog that took quite sometime to get under control. My dog also experienced a problem with his eye and another vet told me it was caused by the fistula which caused chronic inflammation causing dry eye. All of you couldn't have been more wrong. Sammy had to get 11 teeth extracted, 2 with abscesses and a fractured tooth. You actually charged me to clean his teeth and all of the multiple visits you caused. All because Sammy had so much infection in his body and somehow this was overlooked. He was also treated for periodontal disease. Another thing you overlooked. This cost me $6000. Hence my reason for never coming back and I will tell everyone I meet how incompetent your staff is. Now onto Sammy's eye. Alpine supposedly removed the skin tag under his eye lid but you did not get all of the roots and it came back causing an ulcer again. Only this time, it affected his cornea, which ruptured. I couldn't be more happy with his care in Denver because the office that alpine recommended couldn't have cared less and refused to get Sammy in for weeks. I now have to commute to Denver for his treatments. Which they are so wonderful and saved Sammy's eye. I might add that the vet that supposedly cleaned Sammy's teeth lied and charged me for it. If you want a vet that will lie to you and take your money, go to Alpine. If you actually care about your animals. Go to Colorado Springs. Before I moved here I had a long term relationship with my regular vet in Colorado Springs. I will be going back. I learned a hard lesson by believing Alamosa vets who were educated at CSU were competent. They aren't.

It was obvious from the start that she truly cares about her patients and their owners. She is up to date on current technology and uses modern tools to guide her exams and decision-making. What I especially appreciated is that she is thorough without pushing unnecessary testing. She understands how expensive horse ownership can be and provides comprehensive, thoughtful care that feels fair and affordable--no price gouging just because she can. Dr. Henderson welcomed me into the decision-making process and was open to discussing alternative and emerging therapies. Even though I didn't receive the diagnosis I was hoping for, she handled everything with kindness and compassion. She offered to tailor a treatment plan that allows me to continue working with her, even though I live almost two hours away. She encouraged me to call anytime and send email updates with pictures and videos so she can provide feedback. I'm so grateful to have found her and finally feel like my horse is in truly good hands. I plan to bring all of my animals to her in the future.

I had to get my male Dane neutered for medical necessity, prostate issues with symptoms. Dr Henderson did his procedure and also owns this practice. I literally called, scheduled, brought him in and all was well. They found some other issues during his neuter so ended up doing a scrotal ablation in addition. I found the cost more than reasonable, the communication was fantastic, and my boy is recovering so well. I would absolutely advise anyone goes here for competent medical care for their animal, especially if you're nervous about how things could go. These people do a good job and seem to be more old school in their approach. Not for profit, but for helping the animals. Thank you guys for helping my sweet Apollo! WOW what a great GROOMER. She even did my job on a Sunday when I had to cancel during the week! Her facility also board's boards dogs and cats. It is spotless and the 10 or so dogs being boarded were all very happy and running free in the boarding side of the facility also outdoor yard. I would be more than happy to board an animal with them! Way to go, Stevie!
