Very grateful for this clinic! Carla was a really nice doctor, very matter of fact. She saved my dogs life. I can't thank her enough.

High Peaks Mobile Veterinary Clinic

"Dr. Polly" is the kindest, most professional veterinarian we have ever had the pleasure to know…read more We have used her services for over five years for everything from ear infections to euthanasia. We are thankful to be on her "client list", as she is the busiest vet in town - for good reason. Because she gives so much care to the animals at the Humane Association and to each of her clients, it is challenging to get a fast appointment. However, when she is treating your fur baby, you receive such a high level of attention that it's easy to think your pet is the only one she has ever cared for. She gets down on her knees with the animals and reassures them (and you). Her prices are beyond reasonable compared to any other vet in Pagosa Springs...and we have used many of them. She and her hubby recently came to our home to help end our 14-year-old's suffering from Lymphoma. I had cancelled three times on her because I just couldn't do it. She liked the fact I was ambivalent about the procedure. When the time came, Dr. Polly had as many tears in her eyes as we did. True compassion. It was an awful, dreaded event that she made into an almost beautiful one. If you need immediate lab work, it's probably best to go to a brick-and-mortar vet. Otherwise, I trust her implicitly. She is knowledgeable and one of the most lovely people I have ever met.

Our dog was lethargic and vomiting. Our guess was tapeworm. Called before their 10am office hours…read moreand left message They did return call promptly after they opened. They stated vet had a busy day, but might be able to make a med drop. I asked that they let me know as soon as possible, so I could make other arrangements. Explained we are traveling, and would either need to backtrack over an hour to visit a vet, or continue our path two hours away from vet. I called them back 4.5 hours later, they stated they had to take care of their clients first(I totally understand this) and that they probably would not be able to see us. My problem is, if I had been told this from the beginning, we could have made other arrangements. By this point it was to late to do anything but depend on Dr. Google(not a good option). Fortunately after a visit to a local pet store, the meds suggested by Google search luckily did the trick.
