Elite was listed on their website as a local dealer and they got excellent reviews on yelp. So we went to the store and met with Robert. He spent good time with us to show us lots of things to consider. We wanted a larger sample of the one from karndean which he ordered along with a couple others. Sample came within a week and we took it home and made our choice to go with our original pick. Robert came out and measured and gave me a really good quote for the product and installation. Normally I shop around and did get one other quote, but I let AI do some research for me and I know his price was excellent and the service we got from him made it the easy choice. We needed to have transition pieces to match our vynyl laminate wood plank in the adjoining room that this would butt up against, and were having trouble finding that. Robert asked for us to bring in a sample which we had of our planking and he actually had a trim piece made to order with a color match that worked perfectly. So lots of prep work on his part to make sure it would all go well. The installation was scheduled within a week of getting the trim piece in. It was a 4 man install team and the lead guy ( forgetting his name) was really great. You could tell he knew his stuff and we were being fussy customers. My wife is very keen to make sure that patterns of the terrazzo floor didnt look repeated or in a weird pattern so he happily worked with her to move pieces around till she was happy. He cut certain ones and not others based on what she wanted and then marked them in with tape and order number so the guys knew where it all went together like a puzzle with a guide. Im sure they can do a good job without the micro managing but its also good to know they were happy to have us be involved and had no attitude about it (which I have gotten from some other contractors). so thats a big plus in my book. They were really good on the old sub floor prep, cleaning , sanding and putting a new thin coat layer on the entryway area which had plywood so make sure it was all level. They did this the right way and you could tell. And the new floor is SO much quieter than the old one and it doesnt have any extra backing. Turned out to be a great choice. The whole install job came out perfect. They got new oak 1/4 round to match our oak cabinets and did perfect measurements, cutting, sanding and sealing on them all. Guys were super clean during and after as it took an an extra 1/2 day to do. But all really turned out fantastic. So glad to have a place that is local, and knows what they are doing and the prices seemed in good and line with what I was looking for. highly recommend you check them out for your flooring needs and they do countertops too.

I have to admit I wasn't sure what to expect when I began the project. The flooring at the house was quite worn in places and had the older orangey finish that was popular in yesteryear. Over the course of a few days, Eldon completely transformed the flooring in the house. Worn spots were sanded back into new. Eldon recommended a Bona Natural finish which brightened up the floor which in turn has made the entire house brighter. He also took the time to drive all over town to find the precise sized wood to fit one plank of wood that been overly damaged over the years. I highly recommend Eldon and his team for your refinishing needs. They transformed my flooring. Eldon was also always patient in answering all my questions as well as explaining what they would be doing over the course of a day. My complaint with Kirk Flooring is for not helping me with the problems I had from the poor quality…read moreLVT product (floor) they sold me. Dura ceramic luxury vinyl tile by Congolium is by far the worst floor I've ever had. The design and color began to fade in several spots after 2-weeks. It was and is so bad it looked like white paint was splashed on my sage/beige colored LVT. And we were so careful. We even had the bottoms of our chairs and table padded so as not to scratch our new floor, and also diligently only use their recommended (and expensive) floor cleaner. Every time I called Kirk flooring about this awful floor, their way to handle this problem was to send a crew over to replace the tiles (from my leftovers) which cost me more $$ each time they came. They came a few times to replace my tiles, I had to pay more money for them to do this, and that was it. What they should have done was intervened for me with Congolium for a refund or offered me different floor. I cannot imagine I was the first person to ever have this problem with this brand of LVT. They sold an inferior product and did nothing to assist me, the customer. This was a disappointing and expensive experience.

I would have revised my other review but today has been a horrible ordeal with the technician arriving 1 1/2 hours ahead of time, not bring the right gloss finish that matched the original one they applied. So start to finish 6 hours for to small walkway/ hallways, ridiculous! And I have photos to show the refinished work. Maybe they are good at installing floors but when it comes to refinishing don't waste your time, energy and especially money. An additional repairman said he could fix it, but his bid was twice what Daniel estimated. In order to get the right color of floorboards, Daniel took up panels from the back of our front closet, which of course perfectly matched the damaged flooring in the hallway. Even the new wood he put down in the closet is a near match for the rest of the wood. The whole job looks terrific. Don't waste any time with other companies, especially "repair companies" that claim they can't really provide repairs. Daniel will take care of you from start to finish, and make your flooring look like new again. He's easy to work with, responsive, and professional.

They left the floors scratched and dirty and used cheap rubber that wasn't even cut evenly on the edge of the shower. Some of the rubber was not long enough so they put another shorter rubber strip that stuck out and came off. My husband who luckily is handy ended up having to take it off and fix it himself using a better quality strip that looked way more professionally done than this place. They are also extremely rude and disrespectful when talking to the customer. I wouldn't recommend this place!

Four years ago, we went through a big renovation of an old 1940s home and hired Evolution Flooring to refinish the original hardwoods and match/install the oak flooring in areas of the home that did not have wood flooring. They were our favorite of the contractors we worked with. We just had them return to refinish a room we didn't have them work on initially and had an equally wonderful experience with them.
