You search the type of class you want and pick the location and date from what they have available. My class was supposed to be two days, but out of the 5 people that showed up only 2 of us were doing standard. So the teacher asked if we would be willing to stay late and finish it all up in one day. I mean of course! It was great to get it over and saved my Sunday. The teacher, Rita, was funny so learning the material was enjoyable! I definitely felt prepared for the test at the end. Definitely recommend if your looking to take a first aid class for the first time or update your first aid skills.

I learn better in-person so I signed up for the 1-day course that ran from 8:30am - 5:00pm. We covered a LOT of material and the instructor went really fast! I'm a native English speaker and I thought, wow, this is hard for me to keep up so I can only imagine how this would be for a learner where English was not their first language. Just warning you! I bet it's because the instructor had a LOT of content to cover so I guess I don't blame them. The class is mostly lecture style with a few hands-on components. For example, for the CPR part, we worked with a partner and practiced on a dummy. At the end, you have to take a written quiz. If you pass, you are handed a certificate and you can take it home the same day! I think it's a convenient location too because it's about a 10 minute walk away from the sky train station. So, lots of things to consider. I would recommend it if you need a certificate in a short amount of time. Overall the whole process was super quick!

They have padded floors in the classroom which after a couple days your knees will thank you for!!
