I'll also start this review by saying I'm probably one of the easiest patients any doctor will have to deal with - my friend is a plastic surgeon and have friends who are doctors that I can bother incessantly with questions instead of Dr. Admire. In regards to the procedure itself, I had a lip lift. I'll probably write a more in depth review about the actual procedure on Real Self since that's where most people go to look at results. That being said, unless my lip falls off or I somehow find out Dr. Admire likes to kick puppies in his free time, I don't see my five star review changing any time soon. First off, everyone I worked with was amazing. Brittany, the patient coordinator, who you'll start off with first, was great. She reminds me of me working with customers in sales - you can tell she's genuinely excited for you and believes in the work Dr. Admire does. I can see if you're from the East coast or are more reserved, this probably comes across as insincere or sales-y, but it's just how some of us are! For people upset that you work primarily with her and Ashley - I promise you that you don't want any doctor going over paperwork or the minutiae with you. Next, you'll meet with Dr. Admire. I didn't feel like he rushed me or was impatient with any questions I may have had. That being said, you're probably looking at a MAJOR procedure if you're meeting with him. I would expect that you've done some research in to the procedure itself and didn't just do this as a spur of a moment type of thing so I can see if you come in like a window shopper, the doctor may be less inclined to spend additional time with you. I had researched different surgeons, techniques, results, complications, recovery, cost (shout to Brittany for ripping that band aid off and telling me right away how much it would be!) and had been looking at doing this for years. I also chose Dr. Admire because I wanted someone I could trust to take all the artistic/creative liberties with my lips/face and look at the procedure objectively. Anyone who's had fillers knows you get some facial distortion and may overdo it. Not something you want with a permanent procedure. The procedure itself was as expected (again, do some research and read different people's experience and also listen to your doctor on what to expect). The surgery center staff was super nice and made me feel comfortable the entire time. I was off my ADHD meds for the day and nervous and they were patient (no pun intended) while I was kind of bouncing off the walls. Also, pro-tip for surgery: always ask for extra blankets. I think I forgot where exactly Ashley, the nurse that works with Dr. Admire, came in to play. But she's great. Also genuinely excited for you and helpful with answering any questions and walking you through what to expect. Both Ashley and Brittany took plenty of time to go over paperwork and pre-op and post-op instructions so you never feel like you don't know what the next step is going to be. The front office staff is super responsive and helpful as well. I had a small snafu with my prescription the doctor wrote for me and they solved it in literally 10 minutes and sent me a text follow-up since I was driving. I'm sure if I had questions directly for Brittany, Ashley or Dr. Admire that they would have been similarly responsive and helpful. Overall, couldn't have asked for a better experience! It took me a year to choose this surgeon and follow through with it, I thiught about trusting him for a year, and it has been the biggest mistake of my life. I went in for a deep plane face and neck lift. Against my better judgment, I allowed the surgeon to talk me into an eye lift and fat injections under my eyes--a procedure I was petrified of and had literal nightmares about. ​Three months later, I have been butchered. ​The Eyes: My left eye remains severely swollen and has not changed in two months. There is a deep, "black" discoloration under my eyes that $200 concealer cannot hide. I am forced to wear glasses 24/7 just to look my clients in the face because the results are so disturbing. ​Nerve Damage: My smile, which was my best feature, is completely gone. I have obvious nerve damage that has distorted my mouth. The way I talk, speech, and smile..yiu can tell I have the nerve damage by just talking to me...devastating. I could have accepted that on its own but my God..I was butchered. ​Visible Scarring: While one side is hidden (the side that i part my hair on so it would have been hidden anyways!!!), the other incision was made past my hairline and is completely visible. I also have a quarter-sized protrusion on my temple that looks like a massive cyst. ​Poor Results: For a "deep plane" lift, I still have 2-3 ripples of extra skin on my face and zero improvement in my neck. ​I took out a $14,000 loan for these produces plus 25k....no joke..39k!!! And I got butchered!! I have been quoted 20,000$- $30,000 by other professionals. The first time I came to the Scottsdale office was in early August immediately following an appointment at my primary care physician's office during which he had informed me I needed to consult with a dermatologist for the problem I was having with my skin. She greeted me coldly when I told her I was a past patient of Dr. Lee Laris. I explained that I had been previously referred to him by Heather Thomas, and I had seen him previously at the Phoenix location. Excelling at providing "customer no-service," she informed me that it had been so long since I had seen Dr. Laris that I would now be considered a new patient (though I obviously was not new to the practice), and that even if his his medical team would agree to let him see me (WHAT!?!? Yes, they apparently very mechanically manage and control his schedule for him like in impenetrable force field) that there were no appointments available until January of next year. Keep in mind, she was telling me this in August of 2022 that he would not be able to see me until January of 2023 IF his medical team would even permit it. WTH?!? So we leave it that she is going to check with them and get back to me. I waited a few days. I eventually received a call from Phoenix Skin stating that I would be unable to see Dr. Laris AT ALL, but that they would schedule me to see a different provider at the Phoenix office. I drove the distance to the Phoenix office (I live in north Scottsdale), and I saw the alternate provider. The provider was fine. My issue with my skin was addressed. A F/up was scheduled. I arrived for my follow up on the day my appointment was scheduled approximately 15 minutes early only to be met by the same long-haired brunette and told that there was no appointment for me in her system. I am thinking, "YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING!" So, this gal acts assumes I surely must have gotten the date and/or time of my appointment wrong until she phoned the Phoenix location who had scheduled this follow up appointment for me and confirmed that I was supposed to be seen by her office at the time I had given her since I live closer to that location. They "worked me in" so I did not need to reschedule which was a relief though a bit stressful. That being the case, they acted as though they were doing me a favor as if it was my mistake instead of apologizing for their mistake. In my opinion, that, in itself, was another error in judgement. Provider again was fine during the appointment. I received the care and information I needed. My questions were answered though I felt a bit rushed. Upon checkout, I attempted to purchase a product from a nice enough lady sitting at a check out desk (completely independent of the check in gal and check in counter) which the dermatologist recommended during said appointment. For some ungodly reason this jerk of a check in ... receptionist ... brunette long-haired girl with an attitude interjected, "We don't sell everything the Phoenix location sells!" First of all, I don't care what the Phoenix location sells. I am not present at the Phoenix location today. The dermatologist at YOUR location TODAY asked me to purchase it here TODAY (at the Scottsdale office), and I live 5 minutes from the Scottsdale office. I really have no interest in having to drive all the way back to the Phoenix office ever again if there is any way this can be avoided. Nobody asked for you unsolicited information. You checked me into the office for my appointment. Now please know the limits of your position, stick to the duties of your job description, and stay out of the remainder of my visit. The other gal, the check out lady, proceeded to fetch the product I was directed to purchase by my dermatologist THAT VERY DAY IN THAT VERY OFFICE LOCATION FROM HER PRODUCT STOCK. I was then asked, "It costs over $100, is that okay?!?" How rude. Do I look like I come from the poor house? Did you not notice my Tom Ford sunglasses or my Louis Vuitton bag? $100 makes no difference. Even if it did, the proper and polite thing to do would be to simply charge the consumer for the requested item without issue or incident. If the customer has a problem with the price, believe me, the customer will bring it to your attention ... SO LET THEM ... rather than insulting your customers. There is a definite training need here. I have been quite saddened and disappointed by my repeated mistreatment in this office by the front desk staff. I was scheduled for a Tuesday and they called me the Friday morning before leaving me a message telling me the machine needed to be serviced and needed to move my appt to Thursday. I called back that Friday twice and left 2 messages. I called Monday left a message and called again. I didnt get a call back from girl until Monday late morning. Mind you, my appt is scheduled for Tues 7 am and there is alot of prep with antiobiotics and pills leading up to my appt. For a simpler procedure, sure no problem, but with CO2 laser there is SIGNIFICANT downtime and preparation with pills, so a HUGE inconvenience. I had strategically scheduled time off work, and had my fiance schedule time off work as well, because I needed a driver for day of surgery and post op day. So I lost 2 days of income because of this. I asked for some sort of compensation for the major inconvenience and she was pretty dismissive about it and said no, sorry, not our fault, the machined needed something fixed. To not give some sort of compensation for this is insane. To back up for a moment, when I went in for my initial consultation, I never saw Dr. Laris, I saw an assistant and I told her my concerns were laxity and I'm interested in lasers, do lasers help with this. She told me to do the CO2 laser so that is what I scheduled. When I came in on procedure day, she makes the comment to me, "Oh why are you doing the CO2 laser you have no sun spots, are you doing it for preventative reasons?" I was appalled. In that moment I was filled with self doubt and frustration that I just paid $4500 for a laser that wasn't going to address my needs. I don't have sunspots or terrible skin, that wasn't my concerns. I felt absolutely duped. By the way its 3 months post off and my under eyes are still so red and I don't see any difference in my pores, no tightening, so far disappointed. But maybe I'll see some results in the next few months... I also have to comment that calling them and leaving their surgical center messages was a nightmare. The spa answers and transfers you. The spa cannot schedule surgical center procedures. I left over 12 messages and received 2 call back messages. But no one continued to follow up with me even though I left numerous messages. I was so frustrated, I told spa side front desk girl, I will stay on the phone, can you go over to the other side and grab someone, because this is ridiculous. When I got someone on the phone, her response, oh it looks like we called you back 2 times. I said ya and I left you messages after these which means you have to call back to continue to followup!! That is how this works! Why do I have to leave 10 messages after, and still get no call back! Front desk girl had to track you people down. So annoyed and disappointed by their lack of understanding and zero ownership of their frailties. Overall, I was so unsatisfied with the whole experience. Their staff and business model needs training and updating. I will not go back there.

There was no volume, they squealed and screeched in my ears. The people around me could hear the noise. The Audiologists told me to try the Phonak, and again the Audiologists could not adjust them and again they screeched and squealed in my ear. I bought several microphones as they told me they would help, still no calibration. Again, at their suggestion, I bought a Widex Allure. After weeks their Audiologists could not adjust them to my hearing needs. They led me on to believe if we kept trying, which took me out of the 30 day window. I finally decided I was being a fool. I kept doing the same thing over and over expecting a different answer. After thousand of dollars and way to much time I returned the Allures, in which, Platinum Hearing took a $500.00 return fee. They were the ones that couldn't calibrate them, as they never stopped screaming into my hears. I now have a pair called Signia. American Medical has them where I can actually hear better than I have in years and they don't make any screeching sounds. By the way, their Audiologist and owner only works 1.5 days a week and the second one 3 days a week. They were just not qualified to take care of my hearing needs.
