Which seems kind of funny because why would you immediately believe that I was an ex employee rather than a previous customer. Seems rather silly when they knowingly hired sub-par subcontractors. I'm providing my response below: I trust the owner will be able to identify who I am since they've needed to return on more than one occasion for warranty work. The owner's assumption that this is a fake review is inaccurate. They are well aware of our project since we have had numerous warranty issues that they've had to come and fix. I was told my review was read and acknowledged. I was told the former project manager was a "dirtbag" and a "car salesman". I'm not sure why the owner is acting as though this review is inaccurate. I was also told that the subcontractors that were assigned to us are no longer with ACR. I find it kind of disappointing that the owner chose to discredit this review rather than just take accountability, especially being dismissive about the paint brush comment. Nothing in this review was rude or subjective; all based on facts -- most of which his employees have shared with me. Nevertheless, I fully expect the owner to go on the defensive to my edit as he has on all the other reviews. He is well aware of our project, the firing of our PM, the subcontractors that were assigned to my project, and the sub-par work done in my home -- which the person who completed our walk through commented on.

I sent out a quote request through Yelp and Monsoon Windows was the first to come through with an actual quote. I didn't bother shopping around because their price seemed fair. For less than what I thought it would be, I didn't have to wash these windows myself. I was excited to get these things clean after putting off the task for far too long. I had trouble scheduling and paying online (old people and technology). I called and was gently walked through the process. Lots of communication back and forth allowed them to come a little earlier than originally planned, and I was grateful. When the gentleman arrived, he got busy right away. He was communicative and meticulous about making sure I was happy with the service. After he completed the job, he asked me to look things over to see if he needed to touch anything up. I was impressed with what an amazing job he did. There was no need to go over anything, so I signed up for semi annual service. I couldn't be happier with the results. A few weeks ago I changed…read morethe door knob and deadbolt on our patio door from bright brass to satin nickel, to match some new kitchen hardware. The brass hinges still stood out, so I replaced them one by one with new nickel hinges. (This is a heavy door, and there are four 4" hinges.) It looked great when I finished, but the door would not shut. I tried some adjustments. Nothing worked. Finally I replaced all 4 new hinges with the old brass ones, using all the original holes. To my amazement, the door still would not close. I consider myself a pretty accomplished home handyman, but I was at a loss how to fix this. I wedged the door against the jam as best I could, and waited for CR to arrive. Enter Jerry and Adam, two genuinely nice fellows who are also highly skilled. Forty minutes after arrival the job was done. The new hinges were on the door, looked great, and it closed perfectly in the frame. Jerry showed me screws hidden behind the weatherstripping which he used to hold in place the shims needed to reconfigure the door jam. He is obviously expert at what he does. A less experienced general handyman might have spent hours drilling, moving hinges, etc. and never gotten the door to work properly. I am very impressed by my interaction with CR, and will not hesitate to call them for our next remodeling project.
