It was such a stressful moment, but I researched online & was so blessed to find Roy through Yelp as I read through his high ratings. He was the only one willing to help me out on super short notice, driving all the way from other side of town knowing that my issue was super urgent. He was able to diagnose the problem right away, helped me shut off the irrigation water to stop the flooding and gave me the best quote to fix my irrigation the very next morning. He could've taken advantage of my urgent situation, but instead he provided the most professional, cost-efficient and high-quality solution with integrity, kindness and generosity. After the work was done, he even offered to help check my Goodman AC unit as I recall hearing abnormally loud noise from it that's gives the jump scares every time it starts. He was spot on & identified that there might be issue with the capacitor. He's also specialized in HVAC repair & plumbing, so I'm very thankful he checked + tested my capacitor to discover that it was indeed way below the standard voltage & in timely need of replacement before causing more harm to the compressor! Again he provided a super generous quote to help me install/replace the needed parts, checked my indoor furnace to make sure everything running good there, and even helped me wash the outdoor AC unit to make sure it's well-maintained. Now my AC runs like new! No more jump scares & unit starts buttery smooth. He didn't offer to do anything that was not needed and just provided honest solutions that saved me from massive charges and headaches. It is truly so rare to find such an amazing, honest, and reliable professional like Roy. I'm beyond thankful for his incredible character and craftsmanship. This is an unprofessional and dishonest business because:…read more - Sprayed weed killer when I specifically asked him not to - Did not complete the job with weed roots and debris still in my yard and when asked about it, he said that the chemicals would clear it in a couple of days and to call him if they were still there in 2 days - 2 days later when I texted him with pictures and he didn't respond - I'm glad I only paid him $125 of his $175 fee - Did not come on the first agreed upon date and had to reschedule Contacted Jorge on 2/24 to clear out weeds in my backyard that had overgrown and we agreed to Tuesday 3/3 afternoon for him to come. On 3/3, I reached out to him and he said he forgot to schedule me and had to reschedule me for 3/5. He quoted me $175 for: Weed removal Spray weed killer Blow out the debris Haul away everything I thought it was a lot but agreed to the price and told him that I didn't want chemicals sprayed. After he said he was done, I inspected and found weed roots still in the ground and debris everywhere. I asked him about it and he said the chemicals (that he wasn't supposed to spray) would kill everything and remove the debris. I was skeptical that the chemicals would magically clear away all the debris. He said to call him in 2 days if it didn't. I still had my doubts and asked for a $50 holdback in case the debris didn't go away. He countered with $25 and I knew then that if I called him, he simply wouldn't return my call. I stuck to the $50 and he agreed. 2 days later, the debris had not magically disappeared and I texted him with pictures to come back and finish the job, but he didn't respond as expected. Now, I have to clear the remaining weed roots and debris myself.

We were very excited to purchase our two Pygmy palms. Implantation was June 3. After a few days…read morewe noticed the trunk of one of the palms was leaning very far over, and there was fibrous root material exposed above the ground. On June 6, both I and my husband (who was out of town at the time) spoke with the salesman at Moon Valley Nursery. I indicated my concern and provided him with pictures and told him one of the trunks was very wobbly and leaning at such an angle that it was almost parallel to the ground. He told me that it looked normal and they could come out and put additional mulch on it. He said the wobbliness was normal as the roots hadn't taken hold. I told him the other palm was not wobbly like that and they were planted at the same time. The other palm was doing just fine. I reiterated that it just didn't look right to me. He conferred with his supervisor and told me that his supervisor also said it was fine and looked normal. I felt reluctance on their part to come out to inspect it. There are also many palms in my neighborhood, none of which looked like this. Including my other palm. Midway into the next week my husband was in the yard and a landscaper stopped his truck and approached my husband, commenting that there was something wrong with the palm. He said he was familiar with them, having planted many, and it didn't look well. We phoned Moon Valley again and waited for a return call at which time we relayed this conversation and said someone needed to come out and take a look at the palm. This was on a Friday--nine days post-implantation. Our salesman said that a supervisor would reach out to--most likely Monday and schedule a visit. Monday came with no call. When we followed up, the story changed and we were told someone would contact us to "get us on a schedule." We were having other work done and opted to replace it the third week of June. We were given the name and number of the district manager and left a message for a callback. On June 18 (next day), he phoned us back and we shared our experience with him. He was very apologetic for the service we received and gave us the store manager's name, said he was going to note our account and take care of us. At that point, I asked for clarification on what "take care of us" meant. He said he would be having the manager refund us for the palm. On June 19, we finally got an email that we were on the schedule for someone to inspect the palm on June 25. We did not respond as we were waiting for a call from the manager and planned to address that inspection with her at that time. I followed up with the nursery on the June 22. The manager was off that day however, the man I spoke with said he would see about getting our refund processed that day. I asked for a call back to confirm it was in process. As you can probably guess, there was no call back. On the morning of the June 24, I phoned the nursery again. I asked if the manager was in. The woman who came to the phone was not the manager, and said they would provide an in-house credit. I told her that is not what the district manager told me would be happening; that I was specifically told I would get a refund for that palm. She told me that is not their store policy at which point I told her that she needed to follow up with the district manager that I spoke with, and that it was supposed to have been noted on my account that it was a refund, not a credit. I asked her to look confirm and call me back. At that point, we also left a message for the district manager to look into it on his end. No response from either the nursery or the district manager. Today, the 25th, we have texted the district manager to follow up, and phoned the nursery yet again. This time we have asked for the manager herself to phone us back. I have over 40 years in the financial and member services industry. I recognize great customer service when I receive it. There is definitely room for improvement from this company. The whole situation with the palm has caused no small amount of stress. I am hopeful that the refund will happen. I know that bad reviews travel further than good ones. If this is resolved to my satisfaction, I'm happy to edit this in the near future; for now I remain extremely disappointed and would not recommend this company.

He arrives timely, is considerate about my dog, and takes care of problems that I wouldn't have foreseen. Chris always answers my texts quickly. I asked him when he thought he could make it. He stated that the next two days were full. Guess what? Strike three and your done. This guy is horrible. I shopped around with other contractors and Dave's quote fit my budget, I called him back and hired him. His crew showed up on time and did some demo to my old concrete pad. Then the materials showed up and by the end of the day they laid out the patio and had the Barbecue block frame all set to go. They checked with me to come look at the location before they plumbed the water and gas lines. Day 2 the crew finished the patio pavers and also had the barbecue hooked up and waiting for the sink and tiles to show up. Day 3 they set the sink and barbecue and put the finishing touch with the tile top and molding with 2 cabinet doors. They were neat while they worked and it looked great. Dave had a nice trailer and took the busted up concrete to the dump. I am Very pleased and I look forward to having some Friends over and cooking out.
