Or! The good folks of M & T Auto Body could work their magic. Located just a few paces south of Hinckley's Financial District, M & T is one of those bedrock local places, one of the stronger threads in the fabric of their community. That love of place is reflected in their consistent high quality of work. My first experience was with a work van that was starting to look like a science fair project: "The Ravages of Road Salt." They got it looking shiny and new in no time for about half what I was quoted elsewhere. Just last week, I was able to have them replace a rather tricky system on a German engine with mileage nearly equal to a round-trip to the Moon. Did they run away, screaming? Did they laugh and point? Did they quote me four times the actual cost of the repairs, as another shop did? Naah. They did the job. Hats off to John and the lads of M & T Auto Body. I'm pretty sure they didn't even laugh when I rode my bicycle over to pick up the truck. At least until I was gone. I used CarStar Brunswick, as my Geico insurance recommended. My car was stolen and had multiple…read moredamages that had to be fixed; a bumper, side mirror, and sun sensor & rear view mirror replacement which caused multiple electrical/dash issues. A week after receiving the estimate, we were told to bring the car in. About 4 days later, they mentioned they had to order a part for the rear view mirror therefore, at that time only had fixed the bumper & side mirror. Not a problem, we picked the car up & I was able to drive it until the part came in. So after another week, they told us to bring the car back in (Tuesday) & we were told, once they got to my car, it would only take a day to fix. Two days after we dropped the car off (Thursday), we received a call that they ordered the incorrect part (which they stated was not their fault, so not to be mad at them) so they would have to reorder & wait another 2 days. We mentioned we already started the process of trading this car in & needed it fixed ASAP. They stated the new part would arrive in 2-5 days. Unfortunately it took until the following Wednesday for the part to arrive, and they had it installed Friday and was finally ready to pick up. My husband and I arrived this past Saturday to pick up the car, I get in and noticed they didn't fix the sun sensor (which we left in the cup holder for them -turns out they lost it) nor did they fix the dash issues. So AGAIN, we had to leave the car for them to reorder another sun sensor & fix the dash/electrical isssues. Finally yesterday (Tuesday) the car was 100% fixed, however it only took four attempts. We called Geico and told them they needed to stop recommending them.
