the funnest gym I been to. Relaxed atmosphere and a clean clientele. It has an open style and posts a daily workout that members are free to follow. The coach can also design something if the posted daily workout isn't for you. It was a great deal when I lived in Pembroke. I got lots of personalized guidance and improved my fitness. Wish I could find another on like it. read more

Established in 2012.

Started out as a Pembroke CrossFit, we have rooted off into more great things. Sports teams, professionals, People that want to loose weight and get healthy. Massage, and YOGA.

Meet the Business Owner: Brad G.

I have always been involved in the world of sports and fitness. Started playing hockey as soon as I could walk. Realizing that to play sports your body has to be ready and healthy, I choose a path of fitness. Graduated Fitness and Health Promotion from Algonquin College in ottawa, Got certified by CSEP as a personal trainer. After school i worked at many different gyms, moving my way up in the fitness community, learning more and more. Worked for a nutrition store and learned so much about the world of natural health and wellness. From there I got certified in CrossFit, did many seminars from Olympic lifting, and nutrition to Mobility. Decided it was time to open my own gym so that I could share what i have learned over the many years in this field and create a community of healthy individuals.

I've been a GoodLife member for over 4 years now and have been to many different clubs across the…read morecountry. Though this is the closest club to my current home, I would advise going elsewhere. Throughout the hottest summer months the air conditioning was continuously broken (I'm not even sure it's fixed now but at least the average daily temperature supports a bearable workout atmosphere). As much as I love RPM, I believe there were days I almost left with heat stroke. There were also a number of times I had to dodge industrial fans pointed at the roof that seemed to be attempting to dry a leaking roof outside the women's change room. I can say that I love the group fitness room as it is quite large and the air conditioning never ceased function in there. On top of that the instructors are some of my favourites :) Overall I will leave two stars for this GoodLife. I will continue my membership with this chain but will conduct my workouts at a different facility !

My husband and I needed a new fitness center since we moved into a smaller home and had to give up our homegym. But this has all we need, dumbells, weights, machines, mats, clean bathrooms, and some machines to include rowing. The downstairs is a lovely bouldering gym my kids love. There is kids programs here as well. The place is super clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There is parking but it's close to the main down town. There is drop in rates as well, cute place, I am happy it's here!
