I come here every Monday for the last few months and yet today I've decided it's not worth it anymore I've never felt so judged in my live and I'm a felon I'm 8 months pregnant even and they followed me around the whole store it was obvious they were dead set I was gonna steal something. What a great ACE this store is. We were getting pizza from the neighboring Barro's but also needed a few electrical supplies that we planned on picking up from Lowe's. Instead of making the trek to Lowe's we stopped here. Employees at this ACE were so friendly and were even there to help. We didn't need to hunt anyone down to assist us. When I need something...this is where I go. I walk in, they ask me what I need. I follow them to where whatever doohickey my husband needs for a project or my strange brain needs for an odd creation is, they hand it to me and then ask, "Anything else?" NOW, THAT IS A HARDWARE STORE, FOLKS! My favorite go to guy is Royal. He can see a vision, asks questions, and steers you where you need to be steered, "No, that dowel's too thin, the cat will break it. This is what you need." Behold, the right dowel for a fishing pole toy for the cat! No matter how confused I look when I walk in with a bolt, he knows which drawer it is in! Skip the big hardware stores where the bathroom is a half mile away. Go where the customer service counts. read more

I love this store. Everyone is so helpful. It is not hard to find someone to help you and they spend whatever time is necessary to help you find what you need. The prices are amazing. They are half the price of Lowe's. You wouldn't think a small store could compete with such a large building chain, but they do. I'd give them six stars if I could. read more

I went to this Ace Hardware for screen replacement. The nice lady at the checkout quickly directed me to the service desk where I stood waiting for service as five different employees walked by without asking if I needed help. I finally went to the paint desk and the gentleman there seemed annoyed that I asked him for help. I dropped off the screen, paid and left. When I returned to pick up my screen, the rubber to keep the screen in was to long and sticking out and the screen was not trimmed correctly with two places to long and sticking out. I left it there to be corrected and will update this review when I pick it up. read more

As snowbirds, we are constantly finding little things at our park model that need fixing. Our closest hardware is Ace, and we truly appreciate that this store is well staffed with people who are knowledgeable and extremely accommodating. I have tried to find small items at Lowes and Home Depot and have walked out in frustration when I can't find any sales associates, or when they feign "busyness" so that they don't have to provide service. It's a pleasure to shop at Ace. Nobody should have to wait around to spend his money! Agreed that the smoking staff of all the stores along the strip should find somewhere away from the doors and sidewalk. I, too, have had to hold my breath for five minutes to escape the second hand smoke. read more

Casa Grande is a small town and we have many options for hardware, including the "big two" of Lowes and Home Depot. I would come to Ace in a minute over the big guys. This place employs friendly, knowledgeable people. They always know what I'm looking for (even when I'm not sure myself!). They are never condescending, and never too busy to help. read more
