Stay away. The dentist told me my son needed several crowns and fillings. I got a second opinion and he only needed one cavity filled!

My son has received the best care in this office…read more The staff and Dr. Rochelle are AMAZING! Lillian at the front desk was so helpful and reassuring with all my questions. Today my son came in for two fillings under oral sedation and use of laughing gas. The whole team made my son feel extremely comfortable which in turn had me feeling comfortable. My son has several allergies and had many previous reactions so I did come in a little anxious myself. As a manager in healthcare I always tell my staff that we need to treat our patients like family. At todays visit I felt just that from Dr. Rochelle and her team.

We were patients at this practice for several years. As parents, we asked reasonable follow-up questions about our children's dental care. Unfortunately, these questions were often met with condescension, inconsistency in information, and a lack of transparency. The final straw was receiving a written communication that included a highly inappropriate and alarming term, which even if sent accidentally, significantly undermined our trust of this practice and their sense of professionalism. Because of these issues of the practice, we've decided to seek care elsewhere. This may be a good fit for families who are comfortable not asking many questions, but it ultimately was not the right fit for ours.

DO NOT GO HERE !! They are extremely unprofessional and don't really care about your child's needs…read more!!! They straight played me into my son's ortho treatment plan and CANT EVEN send me a copy of his treatment plan or account information !! ARE YOU SERIOUS ?! This whole experience has been horrible and I had braces myself for 4 years and this is not how you treat people or your patients, let alone kids !!! NEVER GO HERE for ANY ORTHO TREATMENT !!! I'm more than frustrated and upset with this whole experience and will never recommend this to anyone ever. How can you guys not send me MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION WHERE I'VE PAID THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ?! All I wanted was a good and caring orthodontist for my son and this is what we get !!! Not to mention they now want me to pay extra which makes no sense ?!? I'm so DONE with this place and not to mention the customer service and the front has some young rude girls that are unprofessional! One time I had an ortho doctor say - "you don't like the plan we can take them off now !" KENDRA was on the phone with me put me on hold for over 10 minutes and she didn't even transfer me to the front because she said that they were too busy. I asked simply for a copy of my son's Ortho treatment and she couldn't even give it to me instead she wanted to just go back-and-forth with me for over 25 minutes and tell me that someone would call me back. Adriana is in charge of the financial department and she had me nothing but stressed and confused this whole time and she said she would send me emails in regards to my account and she never did. She would send me an email of our conversation that we had prior to that day, which I'm pretty coherent. I understand what our conversation was, but if I ask you simple things like my account information, I should be able to have access to my account information and balance. They truly do not care for your child's needs. They are just money hungry, and it shows in every kind of way!

Like okay give me some information, did they of course not. Everyone in there seems miserable patients and employees

I warn you now, never ever go here!!! I thought I had bad experiences with dentists earlier in…read morelife, boy was I wrong. This place is a money hungry, assembly line of torture. I will be demanding a refund, and I am considering further action. I was in so much pain and very anxious about my visit. Only two people in that office cared that I have this fear. One was the very nice girl on the right at the front. The other was the amazing tech who did my X-rays. She spent so much time with me. She coached me and guided me through the whole X-ray process. That was another phobia of mine, but she made it easy; I wish I could thank them both for it. They were amazing!! After that, it was all about making me spend more money once insurance paid. I agreed to see the oral surgeon and made an appointment. I had concerns before the oral surgeon's appointment, plus my script was called into the wrong pharmacy, so I tried calling the office. Good luck with that. You will be constantly rerouted to a call center with employees who know nothing about dental. All they say is, I'll try to call the office, and then they you are told, "well, they aren't answering." That's all you get!! No answers, no nothing. I got hung up on several times when I asked, "so what do I do now?" One call center employee said, "maybee you should go into the office and talk to them." Seriously? Once in for my surgery, I waited 2 hours in the lobby. Mind you, I've expressed my fears and anxiety. It's real! I'm scared to death of the dentist. 2 hours!! So my anxiety is just building at this point. They call me back finally and put me in a chair and then left me alone for another 30 minutes. Finally, some guy comes in and I once again try to express my fears. He asks, "well how bad is it?" I say really bad, I'm a grown man but I'm almost in tears," he then just walks out. Nothing. 20minutes later a different guy walks in and starts prepping a tray, not acknowledging me at all until ask if he was gonna be in there with me. He says, ya, and I again expresses my fears. And again he walks out, nothing. The oral surgeon finally comes in, this is now 3 hours after my scheduled time, he doesn't say anything to me but grabs the needle and comes at me. I freaked. I closed my mouth and said NO. He leans against the counter and stated, " If you can't handle it you can go somewhere that will sedate you." What kind of bed side manner is that?? I really needed this work done as I was, and still am in so much pain. I let him work on me but it was not pleasant. He numbed me up but I knew it wasn't enough. As soon as he grabbed the tooth I yelped. It hurt right away and he said "hold still!" I kept trying to say, not numb, not numb! Then he pulled. None of this was okay, and now I'm still in pain. On top of this I agreed to bone graphs. I should have known better. That is a total scam! Today, 2 days later, one of my stitches fell out. That's not suppose to happen. I'm a Surgical Tech, stitches don't just fall out after 2 days, and btw, bone graphs take longer than 3 seconds. I knew I was getting scammed, but I was so anxious and in so much pain I let it happen. I'm pretty sure there is now more infection from his work than before. I'm bleeding with an open gap in my gums, extreme pain, and I can't get anyone to answer the phone at the office. Just choose another dentist office. Trust me! Please never go here!!!!!!!!

Dr Jacquie is literally my tooth savior…read more After extensive orthodontics and braces for almost 3 years..I had a couple of gum protrusions from periodontic disease in my bottom gums. And while I had a team of dentists in my previous hometown, they were all very young and never asked about my overall health to fully understand the situation. Immediately she knew I had a health condition causing the gum issues and visited my doctor and began the healing process. Dr Jacquie is bold, so confident in what she's doing and I literally felt I had landed in the hands of a Dental god to get me to a long awaited finish line of getting my teeth straight and healthy. She also helped create a retainer for me to be able to eat with them and not look gross pulling out my invisilign retainer for every meal (especially with friends in public)...something my other ortho wouldn't even try to accommodate for me. I love Cindy at the front desk..and Shakira, Jacquie's assistant who was very knowledgeable and has a great chair side manner. Jacquie is straight up and gets into issues that may sound scary, but she's honest and her experience and reputation proves what a powerhouse she is in her industry! I absolutely just love her and am SO happy to be her patient!

I was also made aware that Dr. Jackie does ortho treatment and decided to schedule an appointment. Made the appointment for a cleaning and ortho consultation. On the day of my appointment I arrived on time. Everything seemed to be going smooth until I gave the receptionist my address. I was then interrogated with questions like "Why are you coming here" and "Why did you come back". There was no thank you for returning or we appreciate you being a loyal patient. Almost felt condemned about my choice to return. It caught me off guard but I explained how I liked Dr Jackie and how I really felt comfortable with her service. The receptionist kind of just stared and said "oh ok". I get to the back and I thought I was taking regular X-rays and I was told the images were for the ortho consult. I apologized for the confusion and explained that I moved forward with another Dr. for ortho and just needed the cleaning done. I also explained during a confirmation call that I no longer needed the ortho treatment just the cleaning. The hygienist returned with the receptionist and she said "I'm confused on why you're here". I explained again for cleaning services. She said "well you went to all these places how do we know if your insurance will cover the X-ray". I explained to her those Xrays were done by orthodontist and that's just a panel view not a dental X-ray and I paid for that out of pocket. She went on and on about my last dentist and you went to so many prior dentist and I don't understand why you're here. At that moment I didn't know why I was there allowing her to speak to me like a child. I said "can you call met life and see when the last submission for X-rays was". She said no and gave an exhausted explanation about her having to call my prior dentist. Mind you I went to one orthodontist who I moved forward with treatment with and my prior dentist who I mistaken my last appointment date. After I left I called met life to confirm all service submissions and come to find out I was actually seen the end of last year so none of my money was used nor has anyone submitted anything for payment. I'm sure the receptionist could've done that. Anyway, I told her I would reschedule and just her lack of professionalism threw me off. Does it matter if I drove from Brentwood? All you need to know is I like Dr Jackie and it's not coming out of your pocket. I sat in my car for five minutes going over in my head if I should walk away or stay and deal with the rude receptionist because I like Dr. Jackie's work. Just knowing I would have to deal with the receptionist made me walk back in thank her and told her I'll just keep my previous Dr. It was no "let me change your mind" no "how can we keep you as a patient". She has the nerve to wink and said okay. No care in the world. Wasted gas, toll and time. Worst part is I lost a great dentist like Dr.Jackie.

Over time, my family member has experienced a few frustrations that contributed to feeling unheard or not fully supported. One of those included calling multiple times over several weeks without receiving follow-up, though that was just one part of the overall experience. My first off-putting experience happened right when we walked in. There was no greeting, no hello, and no check-in--just brief eye contact followed by silence as they turned away. We weren't sure what to do, so we sat down. A few minutes later, my family member's name was called. While this may seem small, first impressions really matter and help set the tone for a visit. During our time there, I noticed another situation at the front desk that stood out. A client was waiting there for quite some time while staff were present. When he was finally acknowledged, he was asked, "Are you ok?" and then told, "Oh, I thought you were waiting for a ride." A simple greeting and asking how someone could be helped would have made the interaction feel much more welcoming. It wasted his time. After the client left, I overheard staff comment that "he could've said something." While that may have been said casually, clients shouldn't have to speak up just to receive assistance. The front desk is the first point of contact and sets the tone for the entire experience. I also overheard a phone call where the tone felt dismissive, with comments like "well, you called us, so I'm calling you back" and "I don't know what you need, you called us." After the call ended, there was further conversation between staff that seemed to make light of the situation and the patient. Hearing this while other clients were present felt uncomfortable. Overall, being attentive, welcoming, and mindful of tone and conversations--especially in shared spaces--goes a long way in making people feel respected and valued. I'm sharing this feedback in hopes it leads to a more positive experience for future patients. Since there's quite a bit of negative feedback here. This is your business-your name is on it. Your staff is a walking representation of you. They either help or negatively impact your brand. Customer service is a basic skill. Being kind, respectful, mindful and most importantly-professional, should be a non-negotiable. And based on the reviews, seems as though there is no accountably as the experiences seem to continue. Considering many of their patients may be senior citizens-there should be a standard with the overall experience provided. A standard to uphold and accountability.
