Harvey was by far the most enthusiastic and attentive in the bidding process. He came in with the best price of the three bids, and offered the best combination of competence and price. From there, Harvey did a fantastic job walking us through the best way to achieve what we wanted (removing a peninsula that cut off the breakfast nook; converting a large, outdated pantry- that used to be used for a washer/dryer- into a coffee bar area; installing some floating shelves). Harvey also pointed us to counter and cabinet vendors that had exactly what we wanted for our new look. Even when we came up with ideas during the renovation beyond the scope of what we originally talked about, Harvey was very accommodating. The Mistival crew did a fantastic job, working as quickly as they could. When we noticed a few smaller issues during the renovation, Harvey and his crew were very fast in getting it corrected as quickly as they could, even with some supply chain issues. We went to numerous tile stores looking for a better bull-nose option and couldn't find anything close to our large-scale wall tile pattern. A general contractor recommended that we check out Mosaic in Rockville and we're very glad we did! Their tile options were the best we have seen and we found a bull-nose large scale (6" x 18") tile that is a near-perfect match to our wall tile! J.R. and Mr. Rueda were fantastic reps and we only wish we had started at Mosaic for all our tiling needs. And the price was very reasonable! We won't go anywhere else again. Best service and tile selections we've seen in the DMV and we've lived here for 30 years.

He came to our house very quickly after our initial outreach, returned later with grout samples, and walked us through options at the showroom. He always responded quickly to emails and texts. He helped us navigate tile shortages and advised us when we needed to order from a third party. Thomas, the installer, was also fantastic. His work is beautiful, and on top of that, he was just incredibly lovely to be around. He not only tolerated, but was awesomely kind to, our very loud and unhelpful dog! He also went above and beyond dealing with various issues that arose. James, who came on one of the days, was also great. On top of everything else, we really appreciated how both Joe and Thomas worked things out so that we could live in the house throughout the installation. That was really helpful as far as both hassle and the potential extra cost of lodging. We got porcelain wood-look tiles, and we really like the outcome (see picture). 100% recommend.
