After sending the inquiry, I immediately got an email back from Brendan with a quote. The price was more than reasonable especially given there weren't many service providers willing to do such a small job, and the next lowest quote I received was close to double what NoVa was going to charge. Brendan was also willing to come to Washington DC (Though he did request that I cover his parking expense at $25 which I thought was a reasonable request). The job was done quickly - took less than an hour. The grout matches the existing shower grout exactly, and I can't tell the tile was replaced. So that's all I could ask for. I would definitely use this service again.

One tile which was white began turning pink after six months. Best Tile said it was my tile installers fault even though my builder and I dispute it with reasonable evidence. I asked for names of the people who determined the installation was faulty and I was told by Best Tile they were not at liberty to tell me. After much effort my builder arranged for Best tile to sell us the tile for their cost. This time I did check on prices and their cost was more than other tile companies sell it for. I do not recommend this company.

From the start, Tile Center made this piece of our process easy and pleasant, and we love the outcome. As project manager, Joe was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. He came to our house very quickly after our initial outreach, returned later with grout samples, and walked us through options at the showroom. He always responded quickly to emails and texts. He helped us navigate tile shortages and advised us when we needed to order from a third party. Thomas, the installer, was also fantastic. His work is beautiful, and on top of that, he was just incredibly lovely to be around. He not only tolerated, but was awesomely kind to, our very loud and unhelpful dog! He also went above and beyond dealing with various issues that arose. James, who came on one of the days, was also great. On top of everything else, we really appreciated how both Joe and Thomas worked things out so that we could live in the house throughout the installation. That was really helpful as far as both hassle and the potential extra cost of lodging. We got porcelain wood-look tiles, and we really like the outcome (see picture). 100% recommend.
