Always a good stay. Rooms are clean and tidy, maids are always thorough, and front desk staff can answer any questions. In a great location. Staff are always welcoming and Mario the bartender is the best!

I've been coming to the Vallarta Torre since I was 8 years old and every time it gets better and better. The Vallarta Torre is owned by a Seattle area based time share company called Vacation Internationale. A lot of the staff at the resort have been working here for a very long time, so it's amazing coming back as an adult and seeing familiar faces like Abraham! The units in the main building have been remodeled since my last visit in 2006 and they are beautiful. I love how the condos have functional kitchens so if you want a night in it's easily accomplished. I'll keep coming back here and enjoy every visit.

    Bed is comfy!!

You've got everything you need right here or just an Uber or cab ride away! Welcome Home.

First time in Mexico? Go here! Absolutely gorgeous! They have so much to do here! Karaoke, tennis, pool, hot tub, ocean, bars, restaurants, etc! Great views, gorgeous rooms! They did a beautiful wedding here! Friendly staff! Overall amazing! Great for intimate settings, parties. Honeymooners, and romantics. They have good bars, restaurants, grocery stores, convenient stores, and it's only 10 minutes from downtown where there are a lot of people and life all day and night if you want more liveliness! Beach yoga Wednesday and Friday in the early morning, massages on the beach, mariachis on the beach, they will set up a romantic pathway on the beach with lit candles along the pathway to a canopy where a table for two is set with wine and dinner and roses all along the sand around you! Very romantic!

There is a grocery store located about a block away which is great as you can then purchase fruit, snacks and cereal if you wish to have breakfast and/or snacks at your condo.

The workers that couldn't go home were housed. The guests, like me, that were checking out were allowed to book another night, even though they were in a sold out status. The hotel mgmt took care of all of us in such a beautifully kind manner which allowed us to find some safety while the town was burning due to the car fires. The property is right on beach, has a family pool and adult swim area with hot tubs in both areas. We booked a hotel room that had a small pool access from the patio. They have 2 swim up bars, a children's play area, spa and an excellent workout room. I was told they will be renovating the hotel this summer 2026, which is needed in some areas, such as the spa. It was a very enjoyable visit other than the cartel action and I would stay here again if I come back to Puerto Vallarta.

Food: Several excellent restaurants but Buffett pricey, instead a 15 min walk to marina area for much more reasonable food. Great ice cream in lobby, opened til 11:00 pm too ! The sound of the ocean at night is awesome! Pillows were Devine.

We stayed in a two bedroom suite and it was beautiful, super spacious, comfy beds, and a really nice shower. Room service was solid too which is always a win on vacation. The restaurants overall were good. The Asian spot was tasty, and there is a steakhouse included, but it was pretty mid. We ended up paying for the upgraded steakhouse for a better dining experience and that one definitely hit harder. One of my favorite parts was the rooftop bar at night. Great views, cozy seating, good drinks, and even hookah service if that is your thing. The whole place has that modern, upscale vibe without feeling stiff. Definitely a spot I would go back to when I want a bougie but fun getaway.

This is one of the rare luxury resorts where vegan dining feels intentional, abundant, and genuinely excellent, not like an afterthought. Every restaurant on property was able to accommodate my dietary needs with ease, creativity, and enthusiasm. * Hiroshi deserves a special mention; the vegan chocolate cake is out of this world, and the vegan sushi options were some of the best I've ever had. * Dao was incredibly accommodating and happy to veganize anything on the menu. * Blanca Blue had many delicious vegan options that were clearly labeled on the menu. *BocaDos Steak House even offers a dedicated vegan menu, which was both thoughtful and delicious. * Noi the Italian cuisine restaurant was so accommodating and made me the best vegan veggie mushroom pizza, different types of breads and sauces, and a vegan dessert. They also make vegan pasta and risotto! * The pool bars were also fully accommodating and happy to customize dishes. Some of my favorite vegan items throughout the resort: * Vegan tacos * Fresh guacamole and chips with salsa * Jicama ceviche * Passion fruit and raspberry sorbet * Lattes with plant-based milk Room service was just as impressive. Some of my favorite foods to order were: * Almond milk oatmeal * Fresh fruit platters * Lattes and tea * Vegan chocolates * Veggie fajitas The staff was knowledgeable, kind, and proactive about dietary needs, which made the entire experience feel effortless and relaxing. They even surprised me with a vegan chocolate cake topped with fresh berries for my birthday! If you're vegan (or traveling with someone who is), Hotel Mousai is a dream destination. I felt completely taken care of, never limited, and genuinely excited for every meal. I highly recommend it and will absolutely be returning.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta for a wedding, and since…read morethe accommodations were already chosen for us, I didn't read any reviews beforehand. But after seeing some of the mixed feedback now, I was honestly surprised. It seems like this place can be very hit or miss. Thankfully for us, it was definitely a hit. We were there for three nights, and overall had a great experience. Our main complaint would be the food, which we found to be mediocre overall, though there were definitely a couple of standouts. Next time, I'd skip the buffet except for the freshly made stations, which were the only part consistently worth it. We really enjoyed the teppanyaki at Tamari, and the fish and shrimp tacos from Blaze were so good we had them twice during our stay. On the other hand, dinner at Blaze was unremarkable and we were disappointed with the pizza and zeppole from Melanzane, though we didn't get to try anything else there. I do wish we had stayed an extra night or two to explore more of the dining options, though based on what we experienced, we may not have missed out on too much. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Rafael at the club lounge bar and Lizbeth at reception - both were a pleasure and made our stay even more enjoyable. I was also surprised by the size of the gym and the variety of equipment. I made sure to get at least one workout in and really appreciated the incredible ocean views while doing so. We visited in February and never felt like the resort was overcrowded. In fact, some restaurants seemed surprisingly empty at times. One thing worth noting: they have pickleball courts and a basketball court, which we didn't see advertised anywhere. We would've packed our pickleball gear had we known, but fortunately they provide equipment you can borrow. They also offer activities throughout the day - we mostly enjoyed the evening bar shows. I'd definitely recommend downloading their app to keep track of the schedule and access other helpful hotel information like menus. Overall, this was a very enjoyable stay and a strong positive experience for us. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the dining experience didn't quite match the rest of the resort. While the food could be more consistent, the friendly staff, beautiful setting, amenities, and relaxed atmosphere made it a memorable stay.

We spent most of our time at the adult pool which was a lovely location with an infinity pool, hot tub, and drink service. There was also a great view of the beach, which seemed very private. The atmosphere in general was relatively relaxed and upscale, and not too many kids, but maybe it was off season. Overall, would certainly go again!

I think the worst part was that the gym area was moved halfway outside and some of the machines I had seen in pictures weren't available. Pros: * Staff is incredible. From the front desk, to Antonio on the beach (great guy), the breakfast staff (shout out to the auntie making waffles and omelettes like a machine), everyone was very friendly, helpful, and made us feel comfortable and welcome. The one exception was the towel lady who was a bit brusque- but that stood out because everyone else was so great. * Breakfast was solid, with varieties of bread, fruit, omelettes/waffle station, bacon, eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal bar, green and fresh orange juice every day. We ate there every morning and didn't get too bored. Cons: * Walls seemed pretty thin. I could hear other people using their key cards (just the clicking sound) late at night when I was in my room, and sound of other TVs and chatter in the hall. The people above us seemed to be dragging furniture around frequently which was also noisy. * The property as a whole is pretty dated and needs some renovation. We checked out the Marriott which had nicer pools (infinity pools) and seems much less run down. They also have a nice looking spa and a much larger fitness center (available for Westin guests while the construction is happening). The room seemed somewhat dated, and particularly the bathrooms could use a refresh. * The construction was a minor annoyance- a couple restaurants on site were closed.

At the pool, there is no relaxing, all you can hear is the loud construction and service was a bit hard to come by. All the restaurants are incredible. I recommend eating off the ala carte menu for breakfast, it's half the price and the potions are great. The room was nice but not updated. We appreciated the extra seating and table. The added crib wasn't clean, once we wiped it down, it was a big difference. We are glad we stayed on points, not sure it is worth it to pay while during construction. I heard it's becoming all inclusive in 2026, it will be well worth it for that type of business once construction is done. 15 minutes walk to Marina where there is a Thursday Market.

The hotel was mostly clean and the staff was super friendly. It helped being a diamond member with Hilton. The pool was never too busy. The ocean was a little dirty and smelly.
