And while in the roll lane the driver slammed the breaks, causing me to whiplash head first into the seat in front of me. Causing a head ach and bad pain in my neck. The driver pulled over but not to check on passengers, but to go back to the restroom in the back of the the bus, maybe it was his way to look for uncontrolled bleeding. I confronted him with the fact I'd been hurt, the passenger in the first row we were in second row right side of the bus saw my head impacting on seat next to him, told the driver in Spanish that I hit my head and was hurt. The driver just shrugged and locked the passenger compartment. Being cautious and not causing a delay on the airport express run I decided to report the incident to a supervisor at the Airport terminal two. I took the buses license plate number 70-HA-9H, I observed a female that appeared to be a supervisor talking to the driver, I called to her, but she turned walked away. I use a cane and was unable to chase her down No other supervisors located. Due to pain level I had to upgrade to first class for myself and my wife for our flight to Seattle. An added $318.00 cost. Upon arrival in Seattle my walking was unstable, due to head ach and cervical pain. I took a nasty fall in escalator down to Customs. The bus incident was the only black mark on a wonderful week in San Miguel de Allende. My neck is still hurting and most likely will need an MRI to assess if there is further damage due to this incident. I am pessimistic that the bus company will care about this. But I might consider retaining a lawyer if my condition remains poor.

The Primera Plus bus drivers are a model of polite and caring SERVICE (based on the opinions of several travelers polled.). The trip from Guadalajara to Puerto Vallarta travels for a greater part, over a modern, new four lane highway. The engineering is a marvel as the bus comfortably and safely crosses gullies, couverts, chasms , valleys and climbs mountain sides. The views are stunning to grand. Our party of travelers agreed that the trip alone is worth the price.

When I was returning home I called early in the morning to reserve seats with Primera Plus. I was told I could not and had to wait until I reached the bus terminal. Granted this bus carrier advertises calling ahead or using their app to book seats. Unfortunately, once at the tickets booth, I was told that the tickets were sold out. I explained that my flight back to LA was at 8:17p and they stated that the next bus would not be until 11:45p. The customer service representative was of no help. When I asked how they planned to fix the problem since it was their representative who made the mistake, they offer something I couldn't use and refused to refund my money to use another carrier. I am now forced to travel to another city and pay extra to have a taxi take us to the airport. Worst service and such incompetence!!!!

We had to change our pick up times several times and he was nothing but gracious and accommodating to our last minute changes. We always felt safe with him and he always drove with care. He will definitely be our permanent driver when we come back. Thank you Mr Cordova for making our vacation transportation so easy to plan. El señor Córdova merece 10 estrellas.
