Yesterday did not disappoint when Kevin helped with detailing on my H3 so I could enter her in a local car show! I have an appt. next week for a clay rub and wax to protect the finish before another hard Michigan winter. These guys are great, check it out. They prep the vehicle BEFORE it goes through the automatic wash and it comes out clean every time. Many car washes won't touch my H3 with a 10 foot pole and that's fine with me. My oversized tires fit in their newly updated track system no problem! I have no worries when I'm going through the wash! Check out their detail services, monthly memberships, and state of the art car wash equipment! The free vacuum area has spray cleaners and towels you can use to finish up the job! They are here to help and they truly live up to that claim!

Letting the salt accumulate on the underbody will lead to rust. I paid $8 for the top wash that included rust preventative. The car looks clean, but not the best wash it has seen. The air drying system is a 3/5. Much better than a towel dry, in my opinion. Attached to the automatic car wash are 4 self-wash booths. The building looks updated. Overall, I'd come back again if I'm ever in the area.

(Spoiler: I paid $12.00 for "The Works" and my car came out filthy.) Appearance: It's a standard-looking car wash. The tunnel is noticeably short, almost like the miniature setups that some car dealerships have nowadays. Technology: Even the self-wash stations do not accept credit card. There is no computer vision in the tunnel. Lighting is poor. Service: The employees are just OK. They're never particularly pleasant or friendly, and one time I heard them making fun of my squeaky front brakes. Swirls: The employees at Van Born Auto Wash will barely powerwash your car even if you give them a generous tip. They don't even HAVE buckets and brushes to clean the lower panels on heavily-soiled vehicles. That means that the brushes in their tunnel will be constantly clogged with dirt and debris, so this car wash WILL damage your paint. Cleanliness: your car won't come out clean. Car washes aren't magical. Employees need to thoroughly pre-wash filthy cars or the car wash will not be able to keep up with the dirt and the brushes will become damagingly loaded with dirt.

Great service and very friendly employees. They worked closely with me throughout the repairs to…read moreclarify what services I might need, and were always helpful in suggesting good solutions. However I unfortunately cannot recommend their paint shop services, at least not judging from my personal experience. My Chevy Camaro ZL1 had a damaged door that needed a repaint. MVS repainted the entire side, and it looked fine to my untrained eyes when I got the car back. However when I went on to sell the car about a month later, my local Chevy dealer took a closer look and pointed out several defects in the paint where MVS had worked on the car. The work was described, in their words, as "sub-par and low quality". After having them pointed out by the Chevy professional, I could actually feel several bumps of "runny paint" and granules across the body. After an official appraisal, the end result was that MVS' paint job had reduced the value of my car with $2,000-2,500 from its original resale value of approx. $43,000. Now keep in mind that this is just one person's experience. It might be that I was simply an unlucky customer, and I'd hate to have a negative impact on MVS' reputation if it's undeserved. However it is what happened, and I have to be honest about that no matter how friendly the MVS staff is. I advise future customers to have any paint job double-checked by an independent professional before accepting the car back. I should also point out that the promised date of completion was delayed several times until finally, about a month after the original date I think, my car was finished. I do understand that delays happen, but I would prefer being able to trust the dates given nonetheless. This was especially important considering I live in Oklahoma, and needed to get back. However I stayed at a friend's and worked from my lap top, so things worked out for the most part. Thank you for a great attitude and customer service, and good luck with your future business. (I was uncertain on whether to give two or three stars. While their customer treatment and attitude were both excellent, the quality of their work led to a significant monetary loss on my part. As it is ultimately the quality of their services that decides whether or not you want to use them, I've decided to rate them based on that primarily, hence the two stars.)
