WARNING! STAY AWAY FEOM THIS GUY! HE IS A BIG TIME SCREW UP!…read more Seth Blade came to measure to install a new double window at our house. He did not write down his measurements and when he showed up, he brought the wrong window size. He then had to re-order the correct window size. When he installed the window, we discovered that the screens were damaged. When we were not home, he dropped off replacement screens, but they were again the wrong size! Do you think he would at least check them when he dropped them off to be sure they were the right size?? Of course not because he is not that smart. After we discovered that the screens are the wrong size, he is not returning my phone calls, text messages or emails. His work is also way below sub-standard. He used scrap wood to build the exterior framing. It looks horrible and we will have to have that redone by a professional carpenter. HE IS AN UNSCRUPULOUS SKUNK AND A COWARD!! STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!! P.S. his first review on YELP was posted by Seth Blade himself.

I would HIGHLY recommend John McGough for windows, doors, and screened porches, and even smaller projects in the kitchen and baths. A very talented craftsman. Standard Glass is an invaluable local resource for all things glass and mirror. They are quite…read moreimpressive when you see the range of large scale jobs they have completed but we are just regular small project type of consumers, hard to believe they'd have time to deal with us. We were sent there by a local lamp and frame shop when they were unable to cut and replace an oval shaped mirror into an existing frame. Standard Glass not only did that expertly but advised us to go with a thinner and less expensive, lighter mirror glass which we would not have thought of. (you always think thicker is better) The second time we used them for custom cutting 2 pieces of glass for a top of a couple of nightstands. We were originally considering plexiglass (more expensive) but they advised us against it because it scratched easily and was ultimately harder to clean. They were right again! Better choices and less money. We are fans and couldn't recommend them highly enough.
