From local coffee, video and board games galore, a full bar (with THC and NA options, bless!), and a live music room, Saturn guarantees a fun outing. You could easily come here and not spend any money- simply sit back with friends and a board game, and your night doesn't have to cost a dime! My boyfriend and I hung out here for the evening playing Scrabble while nursing on a Seltzer. This is truly one of Birmingham's best spots, period. The inside is so unique and thoughtfully decorated. Birmingham is lucky to have a spot like Saturn!

Pricing is decent. The staff were cool but not overly friendly. I feel like there is so much nostalgia here! Board games and old school video games are available. I have added Saturn to my list of places to frequent more in 2025. I don't recommend the frozen drinks , they weren't good to.

I thought they just had coffee for my son and husband -plus I was going to check out when they have wine tastings. They do have some cocktails at their small bar . I got a sunrise . The pour was small but it's Alabama . My son got a matcha and my husband got a Mexican mocha. Well after we got our drinks everyone disappeared. We were told just holler umm nah . Honestly it's a one and done for us . I'm just used to better service period! Montevallo does not have an entertainment district so you can't walk with your drink like other places. I wasn't impressed . If that's all you know is small towns then yeah I guess it's okay . We will not be back. This is purely my personal preference. I was just expecting something different is all. I also agree with the other reviewer they never came to check on us or said goodbye. What a way to run a business!! Hardly friendly at all!!

As in the name, House Eleven has several rooms with ample (and comfortable) seating. Indoor and outdoor. Are you a porch person? Gotcha. Prefer more of a cozy fireplace? Check? I didn't have the best alcoholic drink when I was there but I'd like to try a coffee one day. It's an old house repurposed into a coffee shop/bar at night so the layout is exactly that. You can feel blocked out from the event if you're not in the main "living room" area in front of the bar. The outside area is huge and very nice. I don't frequent this part of town much but House Eleven makes me wander over there every now and then!

The person taking…read moremy order was incredibly helpful and patient, offering recommendations based on what I was looking for. His suggestion--the Honey Cinnamon Latte--was absolutely spot on. This was actually my first hot latte since I usually order my coffee iced, and it completely changed my mind. It was warm, flavorful, and the perfect balance of honey and cinnamon. I'll definitely be branching out and trying more hot drinks in the future because of this experience. The shop itself was very clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. I also liked that they had games available, making it a great place to relax, meet up with friends, or even get some work done. While I can imagine this location gets pretty busy during the week, visiting on a Sunday made for a stress-free experience, and I had no trouble finding parking. Overall, I had a wonderful visit and will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

I did notice the post was from March however it just freshly popped up on my timeline. When I mentioned it, they unfortunately weren't honoring it. But no big deal! I noticed when I walked in that there was plenty of seating which I love for a coffee shop. The menu is very small. But the place is pretty new. They have only a few basic flavors but I would assume they will get more as time passes. I love the uniqueness of a coffee shops menu so it was a little disappointing. Nonetheless, I was still excited to try. The barista recommended the Manu, the vanilla & cinnamon latte. It's actually pretty good! Nothing I would run back to. But the location is very convenient for me. The baristas, Kerrick and Lex, were very helpful in choosing my order.

They also have some really good snacks, and their chicken Caesar wrap is definitely a 10/10! The owner is hilarious, super friendly, and always makes great conversation. You can tell he really creates a welcoming environment, and honestly, that makes you want to keep coming back over and over again. The espresso is thin bodied, sweet, and has a touch of a pleasant acidity. Perfect for a morning or late afternoon pick me up.
