Having valet service at a private party at my home was a must have since we wanted to avoid gridlock and an angry mob of neighbors crashing the event. Valet connection came highly recommended by my caterer and after comparing prices, we decided to go with them. The service delivered on the day of our event was absolutely excellent. The attendants were well-dressed and professional. The feedback from my guests was all positive. I found that setting up the service was not such a great experience, however. Initially, it took a very long time for anyone to reach out to me after we expressed interest in their services. The person who helped us seemed to be a little sloppy and unorganized dropping the ball on our event several times. Important information was incorrect or missing from their contract, including things like the town the event was going to be held at and how many hours of valet service we were paying for. The night of the event was truly great and the level of service provided by the manager sent to us was all we would expect and more. However, the service for the setup was so bad, I plan on looking elsewhere for valet services in the future. read more

If I could give them no stars I would! Their driver damaged my car and they are denying it. They claim interior damage was done by my sun roof....I don't have a sunroof! They claim the scratches are old and I did them. Nope the car was brand new! The restaurant is by the water and there are a lot of metal poles nearby which I'm guessing is what the valet hit. I wasted so much time addressing this it's ridiculous!! I went all the way back to file a police report. I have pictures taken with my iPhone that document the time and location when the damage was found. I should not have to worry about this stuff when I go out to eat. I spent good money on dinner and should have a responsible trust worthy driver. read more

I had the Valet Connection park my car in Providence on Atwells Avenue. The valet struck a vehicle from behind and a police report was taken. I could not get the owner Jason Winpenny to give me his company's insurance policy. Winpenny acted like a disrespectful immature jerk each time I spoke to him over the phone. He did nothing but give me the run around. Now my insurance company is going to court over the matter. I have heard that Winpenny's mother financed and is the brains behind the company, she told me herself that her son can be difficult when it comes to such matters. This company is a complete joke and should be avoided at all costs. My car was parked on the street in East Greenwich when one of their valet's crashed a customer's car into ours (totaled). Since our car was unattended, the valet then left the scene of the accident and returned the car to it's owner without contacting the police or telling them their car was involved in an accident (valet admitted this later to the police). Had it not been for a resident alerting us to what happened from an apartment window we would have had no idea. We have been dealing with this company for an entire month in an attempt to get them to process the claim through their insurance. All they do is ignore calls, make promises they don't keep and lie directly to your face when you actually do speak to them. When they found out my car was at my body shop and I did not want to use their shop they called my body shop and lied to them saying they had my "o.k" to pick up the car and bring it to their shop which they most certainly did not. A truly disingenuous group of people that I would never do business with. I would give them 0 stars if that was an option. The drive caused $1,400 damage to the vehicle. He gave me his "boss'" number. The boss' response why are you calling me. So he passed me to someone else, who has since stopped returning emails once I sent him the estimate. So I called the main number spoke to a woman their. She says fax me the estimate. I do than and call back today as it has been 2 weeks. I didn't talk to you. Really then how did I get your name. read more

my husband and i went out to eat at capitol grill last week and we had the valet park our car. a young guy came out right away to take care of us, we ate our dinner and enjoyed our night until we went to get our car from valet and the young man made us wait 10 minutes. i asked what the problem was and he stated that they were very busy and would bring our car up as soon as they could. i thought this was kind of strange cause we went on an off night (not a weekend) and the parking lot did not have a lot of cars in it. all of a sudden i saw my car on the main road driving very fast it went down the street and pulled into the lot of the restaurant where it was supposed to be parked the whole time. the valet that was helping us noticed that my car was pulling in and he ran all the way down to the end of the lot and stopped my car a few hundred feet away from where we were standing. i saw two young kids (mid 20's) get out of my car smoking what appeared to be a cigarette and walk behind a few cars that were parked at the end of the lot. and the person that was helping us drove my car up to us. i asked him why my car (that i just bought 2 weeks prior) was being driven outside of the parking lot by two other people and he informed us that they use "off site" lots to park the more expensive cars. That made no sense to me at all but i trust capitol grill so i accepted his explanation. as i got into my car i smelt smoke in my car and i do not smoke!!!! and it was not cigarette smoke!!!! it was pot!!! i made my husband turn around and go right back into the parking lot. i asked where the two kids were that pulled my car into the lot and he said that he was the only one that moved my car. i told him that i am not an idiot and that those two kids were smoking pot in my car and i wanted the owners name and number and he said " look lady, we are the biggest valet company in the state and you will get nowhere with the owner and i quote "shes an old lady and does not want to be bothered by your nonsense " at that point my husband attempted to open his door and i didn't want any trouble so i told him to just leave and i would take care of it. i had to have my car professionally cleaned for 175.00 i will think twice before going back to capitol grill and use the valet service. read more
