Cool lake stuff to buy The only thing I do not like is the Chicken place. It makes your whole store smell like gross chicken, and every time in the last month, my food is always cold, dry, and the order has been wrong several times and I have to go back. Other than that. The store is great

Disappointing experience with Buddies in Kingsland today…read more We called to order three pizzas, and the way the employee spoke to Teresa came across as rude and dismissive. She gave her name as Reda. I told her I thought her customer service skills were atrocious, and she replied, "Thank you." I understand people have rough days, and I don't expect anyone to roll out a red carpet over three pizzas. But basic courtesy shouldn't be too much to ask. We were calling to buy dinner, not asking for a favor. My complaint is about the phone interaction, not the quality of the food. That interaction made me uncomfortable placing an order, and I hope management takes the feedback seriously.

When you're an hour out of Austin amd you need gas and the breakfast tacos you liked the day before…read morewere having supply chain issues today, Miller's Mercado is a gem. I had the Chorzio breakfast taco that I paired with their habanero salsa and the bacon on paired with the green salsa. I only needed one but I ate the second with no regrets. But then can you ever go wrong with a small, hole-in-the-wall taco place adorned with Mexican flags? The chorizo packed a kick, but it was a good slow burn. Spicy and delicious. The bacon was a little more laid back but equally delicious. And with that, I'm full for the rest of the day. But I'll probably still stop on my way back to Austin.

But they probably have about another week before it is fully stocked. The rows of snacks were all full and the refrigerators were all full with cold beverages but they don't have any hot cooked food yet. My friend who lived in Marble Falls had been raving about this place after her first visit here…read more She claimed this place has the best catfish platter. When we visited her this was the 1st place on our list. The restaurant is right next to convenience store next door. The place is quaint and cozy. I loved the plaid table cloth and decorative coke signage. I ordered the catfish plate and it came with either hush puppies or french fries. The batter was rather bland, which was unusual per my friend's comment. She also found out that the usual chef was not working at that time. Overall, the service was alright, and the place was clean. The food could be better for our visit.
