7-Eleven: Kingsland, TX has got to be one of the most amazing establishments I have ever had the…read morepleasure of stepping foot in. I work nearby, and I make the conscious effort to visit every time I get the chance. While cosmetically, this place isn't exactly the Sistine Chapel, the hot food is sub par to say the most, and the people who work here are kind of lost in their own world sometimes (most of the time), If you try really hard to understand, you realize that this place is absolutely entertaining to visit. I'm not even sure if this place has a manager, and if that's the case, keep it that way. Get lost in the drama the staff is expressing, and realize that if you were working at a 7-Eleven in a small town, you'd probably eat while someone is at the counter and dig around in the hot wings with your free hand as well. Stick to the bottled drinks and manufacturer-sealed food products, and you're golden. Thank you 7-Eleven: Kingsland, TX for being a part of my daily life.

You'll get a small discount for paying with a Walmart card. Fuel was the cheapest in the area according to gas buddy. The station has reasonable overhead cover and my Sprinter van fit just fine but this is very basic protection from the elements. If it's even slightly windy with the rain, you're going to be wet. Easy to get back on to US-281 and head onwards. [Review 17399 overall - 414 in Texas - 917 of 2022.]
