Calm, quiet, 2 men were playing speed chess in a corner. This is definitely a spot you come to relax grab a crepe and enjoy your afternoon at. We got a sweet crepe, definitely delicious filled with strawberries and bananas topped with Nutella, powder sugar and ice cream. Our service was quick and the lady at the front who took our order helped us with our selection. Our crepe came out within 10 minutes as well. My first experience was positive and I absolutely LOVED their outdoor patio. It reminded me of the little town in Hungary my dad grew up in where shops were all quiet and cute with patio dining that were surrounded by plants. I will definitely come back to enjoy another crepe again.

We had not been back to MCC for about a year! It is still a great place for breakfast or brunch…read more There is still street parking and a lot near by behind the businesses on their side of the street. They still have indoor and outdoor seating. Near open on a weekend, they were not very busy and it was quiet like on our last visit. The lady who took care of us sad that she is the sister of the owners. She was super nice and very attentive. We got the quiche Lorraine and a banana-Nutella crepe again. The crepe had consistently good quality compared to our last visit and is still just as good to comparable crepe places. Still not many places make quiche and of those that do, even fewer make the dense and thick slice pie style MCC makes--which is the good and high quality type. The quiche was actually better than our last visit and while we do not know, it still seeks like they make it on site. You still need lactaide to eat if u r intolerant, but it's definitely worth it. Recommend you get fruit instead of salad with it. Since their food is so rich/caloric/comfort food, we cannot come here too often, but when you are in the mood for a treat, this is a great place to go! Definitely recommend to give them a try!

They also serve up delicious quiches, sandwiches, and French onion soup. I love the cafe's cozy and quaint atmosphere, and how friendly the staff all were. I've ordered their quiches and sandwiches to go before, and I've enjoyed each item I tried, especially the spinach goat cheese quiche and the caprese sandwich. I've been meaning to try their crepes for the longest time and luckily, I finally found the chance to dine in. I ordered the La Opera breakfast crepe, which came filled with eggs, cheese, onions, and avocado. It had the perfect balance of textures and flavors, with the thin crispy edged crepe cradling the savory filling. I loved how the richness of the eggs, cheese, onions, and avocado all complemented the delicate buttery taste of the crepe shell. All in all, Monsieur Crepe Cafe is a hidden gem and everything they make is fantastic. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. If you like the sichuan numbing spice flavor, you'll love the flavors here! Be aware that their spice levels are legit. If you like spicy, definitely get this! My friend got the pork belly wrap and liked that too. Portions were generous. I also love that you can roll the packaging; very clever design! For the record, the employee also recommended the crawfish, Peking duck, and beef wraps. I would definitely eat here again!

There always seems to be parking under the bridge nearby which isn't the best of places, but the meters don't work and parking is free on the street. I think we pretty much ordered the same as last year, but we were hungry after not eating all day at a volleyball tournament where prices are inflated with so-so food. The prices here are much more affordable at roughly $12-17 for entrees and soup was like $6-8... I didn't request a receipt and now forgot.. it was very affordable though. Service was friendly and my son remembered the same gentleman serving us last year both times too. I had the spinach feta pepper crepes and french onion soup. My son had the breakfast burrito and Royal Crepe. He was disappointed it didn't come with ice cream this time as it did in the past. Not sure if they were out or if that was a menu change, but he enjoyed it just the same. I noticed the same this time that the crepes are sweet for the spinach and feta, but I end up eating every single bite as they are really good, just seems sweet with items that typically go with salt. The french onion soup was so flavorful I didn't add the crackers and while not all oohey goohey cheese melted and dripping down the sides, it was something I wanted to finish before I got to my crepes. I could name several other places where this french onion soup outshines the competition, it was wonderful. We will be back again next year, same time and can't wait to come again!

On top of that, the wait for our order was ridiculously long. What made the experience even more frustrating was that there was no restroom available for customers. We eventually found out there were public restrooms across from Dave's Hot Chicken, which would have been much more helpful to know from the beginning. To make matters worse, it was raining that day, so having to walk that far and search for a restroom made the whole experience even more outrageous. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place!

T-Swirl Crepe was our sweet option. They have an Afternoon Mini Crepe Special for $4.99!! What a deal!! My niece got the Mini 1 Banana Chocolate Crepe ($4.99) and I got the Mini 5 Matcha Chocolate Truffle ($4.99). What really surprised us was another deal for Thai Tea ($.0.99/each). WHAT A DEAL!! Sold!! So we both got a mii crepe and a thai tea. While we waited for them to make our crepes we picked a comfortable table to settle in at. They have a few tables with half booths inside, and a few small tables and benches they share with other shops in the plaza. So we get our crepes and we're really enjoying it. It's amazing for $4.99. Halfway down... there was something strangely sour... whipped yogurt... why?? We both made these faces at each other. Not into it. My niece said next time she would remove the whipped yogurt and add strawberries to her banana chocolate crepe. For my matcha chocolate truffle I would just remove the whipped yogurt and it would be perfect. We only ordered the Thai tea because it was so affordable but it was super good thai tea. Not too sweet. Great value, especially during the afternoon specials. I would definitely come back!

So fresh that the whip and Nutella began to melt from the warm crepe. Everything looked and tasted great- the only thing that would have made the dessert a 10/10 would have been sweet strawberries. With that said, the tart strawberries won't be held against them since that is an uncontrollable factor. 4 stars as opposed to the 5 because the staff just couldn't be bothered to acknowledge anyone. My friends and I chose Salju Dessert for some nice dessert because the ratings of this location seemed pretty good, but sadly we were disappointed. We chose the milk flavor and pandan. The milk flavor wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special. The pandan on the other hand was very bitter... We thought it may have been the toppings but figured out it was the pandan flavor. My friend described it as a medicine bitter taste, which I could agree on. We made a complaint and the employees happily switched it out for us for another milk flavor (maybe we should've chosen another flavor to try.) Toppings... the toppings were extremely expensive for such a small portion. It was around like $1.49 per topping??? Which is honestly pretty crazy. The toppings are set on the side in those small plastic ketchup containers. 4 Oreo cookies for $1.49, 2-3 buttercups smashed into pieces for $1.49, 1.5 strawberry sliced for $1.49, 1/8 of a banana sliced for $1.49... a container of chocolate syrup $1.49 you can imagine the rest that we added. Those portion sizes and prices are messed up lol The total was $35+ for 2 smalls with additional toppings. Overall, I don't think we will be coming back here for the shaved ice. There's definitely better options out there. The place was pretty busy too, maybe there's other items on the menu worth trying or they got bamboozled by the ratings... but in this economy, the presentation, taste, and price was not worth it and we wish we spent our money elsewhere. I usually take photos to share to friends on snap/ social media, but it was so disappointing I didn't even take any pics to show y'all. Very mid tier. Thank you to the staff who replaced our pandan though!
