Of course also provided liability certs. Definitely give them a call.

My reason for not giving them five stars is that they arrived with a truck piled with tree debris and dumped it on my woodpile!!! I also asked that the debris from my job be placed on certain part of my existing pile. I walked them out there and pointed to where I wanted the debris. I later watched them dump it on the opposite side so now I can enjoy looking at it from my living room. The job foreman said it was up to me to tell the workers what to do. I told him that was his job to supervise the work. All in all they were honest, did great work and at a reasonable price.

Evergreen gave me an estimate much lower than the other 2 companies I had come look at two trees…read morewhich had been diagnosed by a Master Arborist as diseased. They showed up promptly as scheduled, the work was done safely, efficiently and completely. I like that it's a family owned business and it was Carlos's daughter who gave the estimate and answered my phone call. The only negative is that they left deep divots in the lawn where logs hit the ground, or equipment dug in. It will make mowing a challenge unless I get out with a shovel and rake (and I'm an 80 year old woman!). But I am willing to use them again because their prices are the best, and they're very nice to deal with.

I'm torn on if I would recommend Carlos to anyone. He took down some really big trees for us, gave…read moreus a good price, got it all done just as he said in one day, and just ruined the ground throughout my yard. Ultimately, I'd say go with him if you need trees taken down but don't really care if your yard is wrecked. Some details: The trees he took down were huge and one was right on the house. He did a great job taking them down but his guys just dropped the logs on the ground as the cut them off, leaving huge dents in my yard and breaking my irrigation system. To that effect he insisted on coming by to fix the pipe he knew he broke on his own. We were not keen on letting him play handy man with our irrigation system and called a professional to come out. Turns out there were multiple cracks in the line and the cost to fix was double what Carlos had offered us. I feel he may have known this would happen because he came to our house and demanded we pay him before we had time to get the irrigation lines assessed. As for the rest of the yard, between him and the contractor he hired to grind our stumps the lawn was covered in deep tire groves that we had to fill in with dirt and plant new grass seed in. This took us hours because we did it ourselves. To top it off, the stump grinder left huge mounds of shavings that we had to move. Our yard went from a flat level place to a motocross track with all the hills and valleys! Had we not spent hours filling and flattening there would have been no way to run a lawnmower over the grass when if finally grew back. All of this extra work was in place to save about $1500 from the next best quote.

JP Camargo was recommended by one of our neighbors and I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they got the job done. Before each part of the work was finished the other part of his team was there waiting to get started. A few days later, we decided to use JP's services again for another oak tree that was threatening the house if a good sized storm blew just the wrong way. That was a bit trickier because it was so close to 3 buildings - but it dropped exactly where they aimed. NICE WORK! (and exciting to watch :)
