They show up as scheduled and do what they say they'll do. Today Dana Dowling (on his birthday, no less ! ) showed up to do some tree work for us including fertilizing our prize oak in the front yard and trimming another water oak in the backyard. He introduced his foreman, Brent who completed all of the work. We had scheduled our work in conjunction with that of two of our neighbors who also appreciate and use Dowling. While not the cheapest, they are the best and After completing the scheduled work, we 'caught' Brent blowing all of the leaves off our roof (2700 SF house) then blowing all of the leaves off our lawns, front and side yards (3-4,000 SF min.). The he went to the cul de sac and cleaned up every last leaf he could find. You cannot beat these guys for their work ethic, their conscientious and safe prosecution of the work, and having the right employees and equipment to do the work properly in a timely manner. Not only that but they are courteous and polite. As a General Contractor for 44 years, I have worked with a variety of vendors. This is the firm that will continue to our work as it comes up. While not the cheapest, they are certainly the best. It is worth a great deal to not worry about some guy falling out of a tree, having an accident with a chain saw,, or as recently happened to one of my clients who went with the 'cheap price' on another job only to have the tree crew dropping an 80' tree on the roof of his house seriously damaging the roof which just been repaired (estimated cost of repairs ($5,000 +). I will continue to refer Dowling to my clients, associates, and friends which in turn will allow mt sleep at night.

Daniel demonstrated professionalism from the start by coming out on a Sunday and providing a thorough, itemized estimate--something I had to request from the others, and two didn't provide at all. What really set them apart, though, was the team itself. This might not matter to everyone but I was genuinely impressed by how seamlessly they worked together and the level of respect they showed one another. You don't often see that kind of communication and teamwork amongst a group of men. It says a lot about Daniel, his team, and the company. The crew operated with precision, care, and strong communication. Their attention to detail was evident in how they protected the property and executed the job. They were meticulous in every way. They took extra care to protect my yard (and my grass isn't even great to begin with). The way they worked together to keep debris out of my pool was incredibly impressive--they had a well-coordinated strategy in place that clearly worked. Honestly, I didn't think it would be possible, especially with how windy it was, but when they finished, my pool looked just as clean as it did when they arrived. They exceeded my expectations in every way. I'm beyond impressed and so glad I waited for his quote. If you're deciding--this is your sign. Hire them. You won't regret it.

I give them credit they came back and cleaned up but I shouldn't have to tell them to do that . Next problem is they destroyed multiple sections of my lawn when they did the paver installation and they did not intend to re-sod the damage areas. I didn't understand why they didn't have a plan to repair the damaged sections of my lawn and why they expected me to foot the bill for the repairs. I had to pay for the sod and the labor for them to repair the grass they destroyed. So I was very unhappy with this part of the job. I think it's fair for the customer to expect the company to fix the grass if they destroy it. They did a good job laying the sod I had to pay for.

I called them and within a couple of days they came out on Thurs, gave me a quote (and a VERY fair quote), and were here Saturday to cut the tree down. I have 2 more trees that I need cut down and I'm 100% using Arbor for them. They were very fair and very trustworthy. There was a board that broke on my privacy fence...not their fault. The fence is beyond needing repair, but they replaced the board as well. They hauled everything away and even picked up the smaller limbs and twigs. I know there are only 8 reviews, but there's a reason they have a 5.0 rating.

On initial visit, I was impressed by Anthony's array of knowledge and he walked me through which trees he thought would fail and why those needed to be removed. He spent time telling me about pine trees that I found very helpful. He's professional, friendly, and trustworthy. I found his entire team equally professional. They all take pride in their work. You can tell they've been working together for a while. There were about 8 guys working and nearly all of them introduced themselves. Mike, was the go to man in the bucket truck. My job was quite large so they needed to haul in a crane which Anthony operated without any damage! Bubba, RJ and Anthony's son and the rest of the team operated with precision. I was truly impressed. They left my yard in impeccable shape and they even blew off the roof and driveway! This is truly a remarkable team. Their prices were more than fair, especially compared to the competition. I even ended up getting two more trees down since they were already mid-job! I felt valued as a customer and I will definitely be using them again. Now I will say I felt a bit like a stalker trying to get them to come out here to perform the job, but they were just so busy that it took about a month to be able to schedule the crane as well as fit me into their busy schedule. Well worth the wait!
