Having read the other reviews, I thought too this would be the best choice to have my sprinkler system serviced. The company is a two man show. Kevin Brasington is the owner and essentially the person doing the service. He first told me to call and leave a message on his voice mail and he would call me back later that evening to schedule me for a service appointment. Kevin never called back. I called again and he said he said he must have missed my voicemail. He then scheduled me for a week later. Kevin showed up the following week for an initial diagnosis of my system for $125. He said this would cover getting my system up and running correctly as long as there were no major problems. He identified a few broken sprinkler heads which were repaired, and a pipe that was broken in the side yard. Kevin also found some low pressure heads in the front yard. He concluded that I needed to have two valves be replaced, a solenoid, and a rotor in order fix the problems. Long story short, it was determined that neither the valve, solenoid, or rotor did ANYTHING to fix my problem. In fact, the valve he said needed to be replaced went to the broken pipe that I did not want repaired anyway. The pressure problem remained, and was determined to be a simple broken sprinkler head that he didn't even attempt to repair first. He decided to continue and charge me $340 for repairs/parts I did not even need. He and his helper left my yard a mess. He left all of my garden hoses unwound in the yard, fence gates wide open, sprinkler heads/caps all over the yard, dirt from digging and not spread out in the grass, his tool left in my garage on my work bench, and sprinklers that shot water at my windows and front of my house instead of the yard. He was in a hurry and seemed completely uninterested in making sure the job was done right. I explained to Kevin my dissatisfaction with the service, he tried to explain how this was just part of the process of troubleshooting and he has been doing this for twenty years. He said there was no way to know that I didn't need all of those parts. He was rude and condescending. He gave me a credit of $20. for just one valve. When I told him I think I deserve credit for much more, his reply was "that's all the money I have on me". He then abruptly walked away with the tool he left in my garage and mumbled under his breath. No apology, not lets make this right and make you happy, no let me mail you a check, let me give you a free service call, NOTHING! Here is an excerpt from his website about customer service: "We here at Aqua Turf Irrigation want to make sure that all of our clients/customers are HAPPY AND SATIDFIED with our work for the long haul. We offer a 5-year warranty to make sure that your irrigation system will stand the test of time and keep you happy for many years to come". My father has been getting older and we wanted to request an estimate from a reputable company to take over several properties that my father has been doing lawn care for, for years. He was proud that he could spend his entire Monday through Friday going to his numerous properties and doing all of the mowing, pruning, weeding, trimming, tree and shrub care. He is 83 yo and after he fainted, we thought that maybe we could find a reputable lawn care business to take over all of our properties. We wanted to give the jobs to someone who was professional, green, responsible and willing to give an estimate and take time to come meet the owner and tell us, through him, what you could do for our properties.
