From the first phone call, they were polite, helpful, offered a complete written proposal for the work, and made a prompt mutually acceptable appointment. I was so pleased with the pre-oil change service that I offered to meet Joseph for a BBQ lunch at a local terrific place. We met, chatted over lunch, and he went to work. The work was as neat and clean as the pre-work process. The bill was, to the penny, exactly as the estimate. Rather than break it open and have problems resealing it, the technician used a tool and extracted the oil from the vehicle. He also noted other problems on the car beyond the scope of an oil change. My friend who purchased the car did not know it was from a junkyard with a rebuilt title. Thank you to the technician who worked on the car and pointed out the problems and rebuilt title. The price was excellent and low compared to the other prices I received that day.

Very helpful on the phone, I was told if I came over soon, they would definitely service my van before the end of the day. Same day service with no prior appointment; we appreciated this so much! At first, I had trouble finding KAM due to the proximity of a popular car wash being right next door, and I accidentally pulled into the car wash line instead, but then I found KAM just next door, easy to find now that I know. I came prepared to wait for my car for hours, so I began by doing a telehealth appointment while walking around the parking lot. Multitasking! This plaza felt very safe to walk around - and I walked in the parking lot behind the plaza and also along the road behind the plaza, circling around to the car wash. Eventually I used KAM's waiting room to work from my laptop, and this was ok. Not ideal, because the office is so small, but perfectly fine considering this was all a car emergency. The price for the oil change was comparable to my normal service, which I appreciated. The only thing that I felt a little weird about, was that KAM gave me a full repair analysis of things that needed to be repaired on my car. I appreciate the thoroughness, of course, but some of the repairs recommended seemed a bit over the top. In analysing the service readout, the front desk person told me I really needed a whole new set of tires, plus new brakes, new fluids, and several other items. I called my tech at my regular shop, who had just assessed my car a month before, and she told me there was no way we suddenly needed all of those repairs. I don't doubt that KAM was very thorough, and they were correct about the brakes, but recommending that I needed all new tires was a bit much. Therefore, I highly recommend an oil change here, but I would suggest getting a second opinion for repairs. As I was only a customer one time, I would also look to others' reviews on Yelp for decision making, as I did in deciding to come here. I would return for another oil change if needed in the future, definitely! Thanks, KAM!

Later found out that it had a pink sticker on it that is used for junkyards or rebuilt. Not totally sure. We are out $6k and the car will not go above 30. After we took it in the last time. Joe made us feel he didn't want anything more to do with it. So here we have a car that we can't even resell. We used Joe for years, but this last time he was aggressive and rude. He offered to put in another manafolds but we'd have to pay for labor. Just don't trust him anymore. I hear great things about Davis Automotive right done the street.
