A lot of searching came across AFAR. I give my 93yo father the number and follow up with some texts from my phone. Twenty-four hours later Rob is there. Takes care of the issues with my father's car. My father is moving with a walker or cane, Rob asks if my father needs help. Rather than driving away, Rob waits it out. Dad promptly falls, and Rob hops out of the truck and helps dad into the condo. Rob called me to relate what he did and what happened. I immediately left work, second time Dad has fallen today (not unusual to fall [basically sit down on the floor and not be able to get up]). I see Rob's truck in a parking lot for Chipotle or Chick-Fil-A... guess CFA and do a fist bump with a nothing short of a savior. Their reply when leaving a message is to have a "blessed day." Rob and his wife (on the phone)... you two have not only provided an affordable mobile mechanic service but have provided a blessed day for my father and myself. My father passes along "Praise the Lord for Rob and his family." He wants me to add that he has now added you to his prayer list. read more

Honesty, integrity and reliability are the three main characteristics of this company! I'm embarrassed to say I called Rob to correct poor work completed by another mechanic. The previous mechanic to this day takes no responsibility or accountability even when shown proof. Rob fit us in to his already busy schedule so that my poor son in law wouldn't miss any more time from work. He made sure the work was done safely and correctly. read more

I called not once, not twice, but three times. I was very specific about service (replace rotors and pads on vehicle. I said that I would supply all parts. I simply wanted a call back regarding price and if they would recommend anything else regarding the service. Not one phone call or text back regarding my request. I was very articulate over the phone and spoke coherently to which there could be no confusion. I had said that there was immediate rush as to not stress the request. In their mostly positive reviews, I read one just like mine regarding not returning phone calls. Well, ad me to the list. You are not professional. I have already found someone else on Yelp who contacted me almost immediately, and that's who I chose to do business with. read more

Showed up when he said he would and changed the alternator and belt on my wife's 2011 Honda Pilot. Did a very clean job and was very thorough. read more

Best mobile mechanic ever! Super honest and fair. He did everything he could to save me money, not everyone does that. He definitely knows his business! Very nice guy too! read more

Terrific service and response time. Good communication and Definitely affordable. Replaced by my alternator on site the morning after I called him. Comes with a full service truck to do almost any repair. I will be sure to recommend and to use again! read more

I would give zero stars to this whole facility. They have no idea what they are doing, yet brag that they will have it running new. I spent $12,000 in repairs for my work truck and it still doesnt work 6 months later. I've brought it back 4 times now. The workers say it's something different each visit. And each time I give them another chance, I wonder why the problem wasn't caught the very first visit. SAVE YOUR MONEY, LOOK ELSEWHERE. COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE. read more

This guy is awesome. He comes to your place, is completely honest about what needs to be done and if he can't get it done that day it'll be the next day. My car was all kinds of messed up and he got right back to me the next day. read more

Came out to find my battery completely dead. Rob was very responsive and I was set to be back on the road lickety split. A week later the battery was dead again and I was beside myself. Rob came out, started it up, found I'd left the map light on and didn't charge me. He's pleasant, courteous and gets the job done. read more

Rob did a FANTASTIC job on our mustang. It had been siting idol for months due to COVID. Rob got it up and running quickly. He ran diagnostics and explained what need to be done in layman's terms - which we greatly appreciated. Before leaving he explained things to watch out for since it's been sitting so long. We will be using Rob and Affordable Mobile Auto Repair for all 3 vehicles from now on. Thank you Rob. Your service is greatly appreciated. read more

Rob was professional and honest. The issue was not simple as I'd hoped. Rob was honest & informed me it was probably still covered under warranty. He even took the time to speak to the dealership & explain what he found. Although he did not do the repairs he earned my respect and trust. I will call Rob again. Thank you Rob. read more

Rob came within 30 minutes of my calling him. Found the problem, replaced the part within an hour which included going for the part. Excellent and friendly service, affordable pricing, and very trustworthy. I will use him in the future for sure. read more

I had a strange oil or transmission leak coming from near one of my rear tires. Needless to say I was puzzled how I could be leaking fluid from the rear. I called Rob based on the positive Yelp reviews. He came out and lifted the car to diagnose. After crawling underneath the car and checking the lines, he asked me to pop the trunk. I thought this was odd. After opening the trunk there was my 5 gallon of motor oil I bought to keep in my trunk to top off my oil when its low. I guess you know the rest of the story. Very embarrassing for me and a easy day for Rob. I appreciate the honesty. I feel like a shop would have tried to rake me on some BS here. read more

I am retired and have health problems so I can't always take my car to a dealer or repair shop. I ran across Affordable Mobile Auto Repair who came to my house. We had been having trouble with the turn signal Rob the owner came out in less than 24 hours and solved the problem and did the repair. To say that this is outstanding service would be a gross understatement. I would recommend Rob and affordable mobile auto repair to everyone I know. He is honest and very reasonably priced. read more

Excellent work and we had an issue with a custom part and he made no excuse but helped me resolve the issue that wasn't his. I would highly recommend him. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Affordable Mobile Auto Repair! Rob responded quickly to my request for a quote and came over first thing the next day. I needed a new battery and he installed it in about 30 minutes, including the paperwork. He was professional, honest, reliable and trustworthy. I will definitely call him again. read more

Excellent service. Rob was polite, honest, trustworthy, responsive, convenient and competent. Our Air conditioning went out. Price to fix was very fair based on our research. He also noticed a few other items and happened to have the part and fixed for no additional charge. Careful when selecting there are a few other Auto repair places with a similar name. read more

My mother-in-law's car ('98 Buick Century) wouldn't start and a passenger window wouldn't roll back up. I figured it was a battery issue, but we couldn't get the hood to pop, so I began calling around to find someone who could come out and take a look at it in the driveway. Rob got in touch right away, came out, assessed the situation and had everything fixed very quickly. He walked me through some other things to consider with a car nearly 20 years old, which I really appreciated. We live in the Gardens area and he came up from Boynton -- and his rates were better than the places I called locally (even ones that didn't even do mobile, on-the-spot repair, like I needed). Good stuff all around! He'll get the call for whatever comes up next for us! read more

Rob was quick and communicative. I had a newborn at home and he came out to fix my car that same morning that I called him. Very convenient and reasonable pricing. Highly recommend. read more

All I can say I am very grateful to have found Rob. He is kind, professional and reasonable. My elderly parents car broke down and I live a the way in California so I headed to yelp to look for some help. I was t optimistic but thankfully came across Rob. I've already called him out a second time to fix my folks car A/C. If you need honest and reliable car repair call Rob. I will be. read more

Honest, knowledgeable, punctual, affordable. If I could give more stars I would. Had two different cars with two different issues. Rob was there to help with both, one of which he squeezed in, in an emergency. This is honestly the first time I haven't felt scared to know what was wrong with my car and find out the price. Rob is honest and will tell you what you do and don't need. My car needed rear breaks and he didn't try to up sell me on doing the front too, because they didn't need replaced. He also didn't treat me like I was stupid and took the time to explain the process to me and showed me the bad break pads. Not to mention he came to me so I got to continue in my home with what I was doing and didn't have to sit in a waiting room for hours. read more

Rob came out to replace my alternator on my 2007 Ford Mustang and he did a great job. Service was fast and he made sure everything worked well before he left. Friendly guy with great service and great prices...I highly recommend him and will call him back for any future repairs. read more

When the AC stopped working on my Honda Odyssey van, my regular mechanic completely misdiagnosed the problem and another quoted me $2,000. Rob returned my call within an hour (who does THAT anymore?) and came by my apartment complex the next day. Unlike service centers where you're not allowed to watch them work on your car, I could see everything Rob was doing and he didn't hesitate to explain everything I was seeing. I have to say, I have never had such a TRANSPARANT experience with a mechanic. He showed me exactly which parts were bad and how he could tell. He quoted me $1,100 to replace the compressor, about half the price of my previous quote. Rob got the new part and returned early the next morning. The repair was done in about 4 hours and my van is now CHILLY, the AC running much colder than it has in years. A remarkably pleasant experience. I highly recommend this company. read more

Rob is an honest person. He diagnosed the problem to make sure it was the starter. I was low on oil and he topped it off. He told me why my check engine light was on. He checked the rest of the car and told me what was needed. Definitely going to call him back for those repairs. If you need some repair work done to your car, give him a try you won't be disappointed. Reasonable and great to work with. read more

Rob returned my call quickly and was at my location even quicker! He provides a great service, and he's really nice guy who isn't trying to take you for a ride. I highly recommend his work to anyone looking for help with their car troubles. Thanks Rob, you saved the day! read more

Rob was great. He came to my house and promptly diagnosed the situation. I actually thought it was more serious than it was. He fixed the car, and even put air in my low tires. I would recommend him to a friend. read more

Great service. They roll up with a large truck/van and do their diagnostics. In our case, he arrived, diagnosed and replaced the alternator in less than 45 minutes. And the price was extremely reasonable. This is our new auto repair guy, for sure! read more

The best very convenient and reasonable I would use Rob all the time don't have to drop a car off he comes to the house. Thanks Rob

Does not return phone calls! After contacting them through Yelp about an auto repair, I received an email response. I was asked by the owner to give him a call so we could discuss my repair needs. After calling 3 times and leaving a message each time, there's been no response. It's been 10 days and nothing. I'm done! read more

Called this guy twice, left messages, never heard back. I'd suggest looking elsewhere, this person clearly lacks professionalism.

Punctual. Professional. Personable. Great service! Would recommend to anyone in need of repairs. Pricing is very reasonable accompanied by the convenience of not having to be bothered with a long wait at a shop read more

My sister used Rob before and he was really knowledgeable and explained everything in words that anybody could understand. He really knew what he was talking about. He worked on my car and fixed all the problems. read more

Wonderful service! I had a problem with my Jeep. The engine was dying while idling. My husband called Rob in the morning, Rob was at our door an hour later, checked the car, went to buy parts and in two hours total my car was as good as new. I didn't have to leave the house, it wasn't expensive and it was totally stress free. Brand new experience for me when it comes to fixing a car. I loved it! Rob was recommended to me by a friend of mine and I would recommend him to anybody who needs their car fixed. Thanks Rob! read more

Rob was able to come out the same day I called him. He did a diagnostic test to make sure he was going to repair what needed to be repaired. He was able to tell me what was wrong and gave me a price that seemed really reasonable. Then he came back with the parts and completed everything really quickly and everything works great. This so much better than waiting 7 hours at the dealership. The next time I need a repair I'll call Rob and the next time I want my daughter to bring her car over for a repair too. Thanks Rob! read more

Thank you for the quick assistance. My car battery was replaced in no time. Much easier than going to a dealership or a garage. I will recommend the service. read more

Rob is fantastic! I have a 14 year old car and it's getting to the point of repairs. Some extra repair issues came up during the initial repair, however he went above and beyond to make everything good. His rates are very reasonable. In a field that is circumspect, and being a former car salesperson, I've seen it up close and peronal...... Rob is definitely is building a wonderful reputation thru his work ethic. He will be my "go to" guy for car repairs. read more

Questionable if he is an ASC mechanic. Robert would not confirm. Average repair guy. Not good at returning phone calls either.
