Therefore I got there at 7 AM to hopefully get out as quick as possible. It was extremely frustrating and I thought that getting there early would avoid this issue.

I came to Walmart Auto Care specifically because I was told I had a warranty on my tire and needed…read moreit replaced. I explained that up front, and they proceeded with the tire change without ever telling me that the tire they were replacing supposedly was NOT covered under warranty. After the work was already completed, I was suddenly told the total was $206. I was shocked because the entire reason I agreed to the replacement was because I believed it was being handled under the warranty. When I questioned why nobody told me beforehand that I would be responsible for over $200, I was basically told, "I don't know, you'll have to ask the guy who changed the tire." Roudy and Jean were the employees involved. Regardless of whose mistake it was, this is terrible communication and customer service. You should NEVER perform a $200 service without informing the customer of the cost and getting approval first, especially when the customer came in specifically stating they were using a warranty. I felt completely blindsided and taken advantage of. They should have stopped before installing anything and clearly explained that the tire was not covered and what I would owe. Very disappointing experience.
