You'll rarely see the actual dentist. Dental hygienists are great though. When you do see the dentist, you might be met with a frustrated impatient person-- depends on his mood. Billing practices are prehistoric and not secure (they have you write down your credit card #/info on the bill to snail-mail back to them). It was me. I was the one having a panic attack at the very thought of a dentist. So much so, that I had a 'support team' in the sitting room. Janice saw me first & I swear she is an angel sent from Jesus himself. (I busted out crying before she even asked me to open my mouth.) I wasn't expecting her to be so soft & comforting, in the most genuine way a person could be. But she was. By the time the Dr. came in, she had me rollin through the x-rays. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical when I heard all my co-workers raving about going to the dentist. But after going for the first time I know understand. I had my very first toothache and had not found a dentist. I was told to call Dr.Bayette's office and did. Diane answered and was super nice and scheduled me to come in ASAP. I went in and Dr.Bayette actually came in and actually listened and asked questions about the pain, and the tooth and then made sure my tooth was taken care of that day. He even called after hours to follow up and make sure I was doing better. Four visits and a new crown later I am a patient for life! Dr. Bayette is friendly, funny and doesn't try and set up costly dental work that is not needed. His staff is attentive and friendly and they even put Vaseline on your lips so they don't get chapped. Yesterday I received a call from my daughter's school that I needed to get there right away as a boy had accidentally run into my daughters face, and now one of her brackets from her braces was lodged into her lip.On the way down I called her orthodontist, but they were closed. I picked her up and headed over to the pediatric dentist she went to before that was near the school hoping they could help.Alas they were also closed(weird as it was a Thursday)I decided to just walk next door to a dentist that I saw was open.From the moment I walked in they were so kind and sympathetic. He took her back to a room.He was so sweet and calming to her.He told me our option was to numb her up and yank the bracket out(it was in there deep)I gave him the go ahead.Within minutes my daughter could open her mouth up again and was pain free.I am so thankful to Dr Bayette and his entire office.They could have sent us away because we were not patients of theirs but instead treated us like we had been going to him for years.!When it was time to leave and pay they would not let me. They would not accept a payment. I could not believe it. He has done two crowns and a root canal for me and they didn't hurt at all. He put veneers on my two front teeth. They look beautiful and were much more reasonable than what anybody else I know has paid for the same treatment.
