You'll rarely see the actual dentist. Dental hygienists are great though. When you do see the dentist, you might be met with a frustrated impatient person-- depends on his mood. Billing practices are prehistoric and not secure (they have you write down your credit card #/info on the bill to snail-mail back to them). If you want a patient, communicative, and empathetic dental professional, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. read more

It was me. I was the one having a panic attack at the very thought of a dentist. So much so, that I had a 'support team' in the sitting room. Janice saw me first & I swear she is an angel sent from Jesus himself. (I busted out crying before she even asked me to open my mouth.) I wasn't expecting her to be so soft & comforting, in the most genuine way a person could be. But she was. By the time the Dr. came in, she had me rollin through the x-rays. My fear wasn't entirely dissipated until Dr. B sat down with me & showed me//explained everything NOT wrong with my teeth & mouth. I can honestly say, I've never had that experience before. Dr. Bayette is amazing! And so is the staff in the office! You feel like you're with family when you're there. I have dental coverage through my medical policy, but I have to use certain assigned dentists that don't include Dr. Bayette. I pay out of pocket to go see Dr. Bayette instead. It's worth every penny! You can't put a price on comfort and kindness. Dr. Bayette is so attentive to your needs. And it's delightful to see how he treats his staff with such respect and kindness. Shopping around for a new Dentist and read all reviews, I was so impressed until I called the office and a woman named Diane answered and completely ruined my day with her negativity and attitude . It sounded like she was in a hurry and stressed ( Maybe time to retire). I was already afraid of going to the Dentist and might never go again after Diane shamed me for not going for years. This guy is seriously the best dentist I've ever been to. I went to another dentist and they wanted to charge me $3000 for loads of work they said I needed. I went to Dr. Bayette for a second opinion and what the original dentist said I needed was not true! Incredible. First off, the quality can't be beat. The crown I just got looks like a real tooth. Leaps and bounds above previous work I've had from other dentists. Secondly, the office is welcoming, kind, and informative. I had bad experiences as a kid, so dentists used to scare me. Not anymore. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical when I heard all my co-workers raving about going to the dentist. But after going for the first time I know understand. I had my very first toothache and had not found a dentist. I was told to call Dr.Bayette's office and did. Diane answered and was super nice and scheduled me to come in ASAP. I went in and Dr.Bayette actually came in and actually listened and asked questions about the pain, and the tooth and then made sure my tooth was taken care of that day. He even called after hours to follow up and make sure I was doing better. Four visits and a new crown later I am a patient for life! Dr. Bayette is friendly, funny and doesn't try and set up costly dental work that is not needed. His staff is attentive and friendly and they even put Vaseline on your lips so they don't get chapped. Yesterday I received a call from my daughter's school that I needed to get there right away as a boy had accidentally run into my daughters face, and now one of her brackets from her braces was lodged into her lip.On the way down I called her orthodontist, but they were closed. I picked her up and headed over to the pediatric dentist she went to before that was near the school hoping they could help.Alas they were also closed(weird as it was a Thursday)I decided to just walk next door to a dentist that I saw was open.From the moment I walked in they were so kind and sympathetic. Dr. Bayette came right over to look my daughter over. He took her back to a room.He was so sweet and calming to her.He told me our option was to numb her up and yank the bracket out(it was in there deep)I gave him the go ahead.Within minutes my daughter could open her mouth up again and was pain free.I am so thankful to Dr Bayette and his entire office.They could have sent us away because we were not patients of theirs but instead treated us like we had been going to him for years.!When it was time to leave and pay they would not let me. They would not accept a payment. I could not believe it. Dr. Bayette has been my dentist for about 15 years since he first started practicing in San Diego. He is a wonderful dentist. He has done two crowns and a root canal for me and they didn't hurt at all. He put veneers on my two front teeth. They look beautiful and were much more reasonable than what anybody else I know has paid for the same treatment. Best of all he is really nice and gives you a minute by minute account of everything he is doing while he is treating you, which is very reassuring.
