Not only is she incredibly talented and has the most dreamy results, but she is also well priced, prompt with the photo returns and provides a handful of favorites super quickly. She also has always been very flexible with us when we have had to reschedule and is just overall a very kind & patient soul. She takes her time during shoots to ensure we never feel rushed and gives great direction to capture the most beautiful moments. I've loved every shoot she's done for us! She even made my toddler's tantrum-filled shoot look good which is quite the challenge. Maya is an absolute gem and I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I was so lucky to win an engagement shoot with her a few months after getting engaged myself, and as soon as we got our sneak peeks (I think.. 5 hours later?! Incredibly fast!) we knew we needed her as our wedding photographer too. My now-husband and I are super awkward behind the camera, but Maya made us feel so comfortable and gave us plenty of suggestions on how to pose that felt natural. We wound up having to reschedule our wedding to a few months later, and Maya was the first person we contacted - I refused to book a day she wouldn't be available for - and she was so easy and accommodating in switching us to the new date. Fast forward to our wedding last month in Indio, and I can not sing Maya's praises enough. She showed up early, brought a second shooter, and was the perfect friendly face to spend all day with. She got through family portraits quickly, worked with all our various ideas, and captured every magical moment of the day perfectly. Our timeline ran so late and behind schedule, and Maya was so easygoing and stayed until she felt like she got all the pictures. We got our sneak peeks less than 24 hours later, and our full gallery a month after the wedding - which is incredibly impressive considering how much footage I'm sure she had to work with. My husband and I were in tears reliving the best day of our lives through her lens and I can't begin to put into words how much her pictures have meant to us. She captured all the smiles and tears and got footage of so many of our close friends and family that we will cherish forever. Don't hesitate for a second to book Maya! I can't wait to book her for maternity and family shoots in the future, or use really any excuse to work with her!

Their prices were a bit higher than other photographers, but I can see why after getting our pictures back. We chose to get the longer package for our wedding and ended up with enough credit to get a 60-picture photo album and a canvas of our favorite picture. We got the photo album yesterday and couldn't be happier with it. We were able to pick each picture we wanted online and see the album before Yaneck made the order so we knew exactly what we would be getting. The album looks exactly like we wanted but in amazing quality! We also got a canvas picture of our favorite engagement picture. I've never really cared for pictures before getting this canvas, it's just so clear and the quality is better than any other photo we've gotten before. Can't wait for the wedding picture! I have no worries it will be just as nice.

Review #600! I…read morecouldn't end the year without this review! A handful of friends have used this photographer for their family photos and weddings; and I always loved the photos she produced. I tried to have a friend take my family's photos but our schedules never aligned. It was December and I procrastinated to get family photos for our Christmas cards. My friend just had a mini session with MarieSam and she told me the photographer still had sessions available. MarieSam replied to my email pretty quick and gave me all the details. Our initial contact was on 12/5 and we set up a photo shoot for 12/9. When the day came the electricity in our townhouse complex went out. A few hours before our scheduled shoot, my hair was soaked and I was freaking out. I called MarieSam and she was very understanding and we were able to reschedule for the 15th at Kenneth Hanh State Park. Before our shoot I told MarieSam that we were thinking of bringing our dog with us but didn't have anyone to wrangle him. MarieSam mentioned that she will have her daughter with her that can wrangle him for us! Her daughter helps with her shoots and it was nice of her to offer that. On the day of the shoot our 16 month old son did not want to cooperate at all. All he wanted to do was explore the park. Holding him was a bit of a challenge but MarieSam was so sweet and patient with us. I stared to worry we wouldn't get any good shots but she assured me she did. After our shoot she mentioned it will take five days to get the proofs. To my surprise she had them done in two days! I stayed up two hours passed my bedtime just admiring all the photos. I think it took about a day to narrow down the 20 images we wanted for our package and we got our photos four days after our shoot! I loved working with MarieSam, I really wished she was our photographer for our wedding. Her work is really great and she is very professional. We would love her to capture our family photos in the future!

After the initial meeting with them, we knew that they were going to be our photographers for our special day. MarieSam is very professional and very attentive to her craft. Could not speak more highly of this talented, thoughtful, incredible team at Studio Nine…read more Zach Blum was our main photographer and one of the highlights of our wedding. He found creative, beautiful ways to capture us as individuals and as a couple: from recognizing the fleeting moments of a beautiful sunrise and pivoting us outside to get a breathtaking golden sky backdrop in getting-ready photos, to sneaking a unique, fun shot of the bride in Indian bridal attire holding her Starbucks in the morning, to incredible shots of us during our first dance - literally out of a magazine! He was present for every meaningful moment of the wedding, and always created a warm, fun, welcoming atmosphere during a hectic day. Additionally, the team worked tirelessly to ensure that we were happy with the portfolio after the wedding. We had concerns about our décor colors, and they found a way to ease the harshness of the background in post-processing so that we were not outfaced in the final photos. Additionally, we had unique requests on cropping and the final album product, and Zach and Jon both worked with us for months to make sure they got it right! Jon, the production manager, is very approachable and takes time to listen to each client's individual requests - even nitty gritty requests amidst a very hectic wedding season! We are delighted with the team that captured our wedding weekend, and highly recommend.
