Our first character on this trip was Dale who was hanging out here at the wilderness Lodge. The details of this area are amazing with nothing left undone. You feel like you're literally in a big lodge at a national park out west. The rooms are spacious. The accommodations are excellent and we enjoy every aspect of our day. We will often stay in multiple rooms during a stay - this gives uss us a chance to try the resort in several ways and experience it from different vantage points. This trip - we stayed in a studio at Boulder the first night and the 2nd night is at a cabin at Copper Creek and we will plan to finish in a one bedroom suite at Copper Creek. We try to stay in different areas to understand the plus and minus factors (if there are any negatives at Disney). Disney is the ultimate at spoiling...there isn't much better than Disney class and service and style. We are fans for sure!

We can hit a store or have groceries delivered saving us from overpriced resort dining. If you drive there are plenty of parking stalls. If stay on Disney properties and you've never stayed here you may want to try it. Besides, the boat shuttle to Magic Kingdom is pretty cool.

I never felt "trapped" in the sales area. At the end of the presentation, they offered another package to come back at a later date, listen to another presentation, and stay at a discounted rate. We took them up on that. I don't know if we will ever be full-time owners, the whole perpetuity thing always get me, but we will certainly be back for another vacation package.

We were placed in Building Two on the fifth floor, which had one of the best views of the lake. Every inch of the space was so well kept. I don't know who they hired to clean these rooms, but they did an amazing job! As soon as we walked in, it was spotless, with clean walls, no carpet stains, a beautiful bathroom, a fully functional kitchen, and a washer and dryer. Everything was perfect, which is rare for me to say about a hotel room. I hope they continue these renovations throughout the rest of the property, because our stay was so comfortable. We felt right at home. From the pool to the cafe, we really enjoyed wandering around the premises during the off-season and especially, being able to find parking at night, which is quite difficult during the summer months. The staff was so hospitable and very good at attending to any inconveniences on time. Hilton has been very good to us throughout the years, so we'll continue to stay with them as long as this quality of service remains intact. Great Job all around.

I have a love / hate relationship with Hilton Grand Vacations Tuscany Village, but it has become my…read morego-to hotel whenever I'm in Orlando and visiting Disney. I've stayed here for years, and things have changed for the better (renovated rooms) and for the worse (they've now started charging $10 per night parking fee plus tax). But the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and the hotel has quiet, picturesque grounds with walking paths and fountains that fit with the Tuscany-inspired name. I love the condo style rooms here. They have full kitchens, living areas, and thoughtful touches like stacked washer/dryer units (in the one bedroom models, not the studios) that make it easy to feel settled, even for longer stays. I always do laundry on vacation because it means I can pack light! We always make good use of the full sized refrigerator and microwave for leftovers, and the attached screened in balconies and porches are so nice for kicking back with a glass of wine after a long day in the parks. I also appreciate I can control the climate in my unit and there's no bogus regulator. That means I can keep the condo the temperature of an icebox and not have to return to a sweltering room after a walking for miles in the hot and humid Orlando weather. Some condos are laid out better than others, and they won't guarantee you a specific layout. It's first come first served, so check in early for the best shot at a nicer room. This is also a Hilton Vacation Club, so that means they will really try to sell you on a timeshare the second you check in. Pro tip: unplug the landline phone in your room so you won't be bothered by their incessant calls trying to get you to take a timeshare presentation tour! The amenities are just okay. There are a couple of nondescript pool areas, crowded hot tubs, and a small fitness center if you're trying to squeeze in a workout. The on-site café and grab-and-go options are convenient but the hours close too early. We usually opt to drive a few minutes to nearby restaurants, grocery stores, and shops to stock our condo. There are plenty of quick service and sit down chain restaurants close by, with a McDonald's, Freddy's, and Publix supermarket directly across the street. The new paid parking money grab really annoys me, especially because it's very difficult to find a spot here. The hotel is too big with not enough parking, and the parking spots are way too narrow which means get ready for some inevitable dings in your rental car. The staff zoom around in golf carts and they can be a real menace. They often block throughways and while they provide shuttle service to guests around the property, they do tend to get in the way a lot. The elevators in the building are super slow, and they pack a lot of people into one building. Some buildings have better views than others. This last visit, we were stuck with a "view" of the ugly parking garage at the adjacent outlet mall. The tradeoff? No hot morning sun and we could watch the Disney fireworks from our room balcony! Another recurring issue here is that something is always broken. Once it was no hot water in the shower, another time it was a leaking faucet and a broken ice maker in our refrigerator, and yet another there was a total power outage for several hours. This time, the wifi was down for hours on multiple days, which was a true inconvenience since my hubby and I both work at night while we travel. This property isn't perfect, but it does get a lot right. Location-wise, the hotel is really convenient for hitting Disney, Universal, and other Orlando attractions while still being tucked away enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the property has a staffed guard gate 24/7. Tuscany Village is a great place to stay if you want a lot of room, most of the comforts of home, a central location, and a quick shot to the Disney parks.

This hotel was slightly above fine (I would say 3.5/5 but I rounded up). It's certainly not a typical Renaissance experience here. These rooms are outdated and lacking in the chic glamour that usually comes with a Renaissance property. The lobby is nice and they offer some great amenities like a pool, an arcade room, a convenience store, and 3 dining options. Nice perks like free drink vouchers for wine, beer, or coffee. The best thing about this place, early access to Magic Kingdom. Walking distance to Disney Springs. The staff is friendly and very helpful, but some things are lacking. For example: -No microwaves except in The Grove (their grab and go coffee shop). It closes at certain time of the night, so imagine you come back from Disney Springs with your food and they have no where for you to heat your food up. For the price they charge, they should have a microwave available somewhere at all times. -I also saw a few bugs that were dying so I'm assuming the floors have been treated, but still. I can't have bugs getting into my suitcase. -My sink in the bathroom drained slowly. Not a huge deal because I was solo but imagine if you were sharing a room. I'd stay again, but I wouldn't pay what I paid this time.

My recent eight-night stay at the Renaissance Orlando Resort reminded me that beautiful properties are wonderful, but it's the people who make a stay memorable. And what a pleasant surprise! Is the hotel a little dated? Absolutely. But there's something charming about its old-school elegance, spacious common areas, and relaxed atmosphere. My high-floor room had a balcony, plenty of sunshine, two queen beds, a comfortable layout, excellent air conditioning, and a fantastic shower. After long days working in the Florida heat, it was exactly what I needed! But here's where this hotel truly shines: THE PEOPLE! Every morning, our group descended on the lobby coffee bar at the crack of dawn. Michelle was an absolute gem! She remembered my order, and by the time I'd made it through the line, my drink was already waiting at pickup. Her colleague Dylan was equally friendly and professional. That's hospitality! Making someone's busy morning a little brighter. We also spent plenty of evenings at the hotel bar after work. One wonderful bartender, whose name I believe began with C or K, remembered my drink as soon as I walked in. He also looked after our table, serving food and drinks with impeccable timing and genuine warmth. Attentive without hovering, personable without being intrusive. The food was consistently enjoyable, and we looked forward to those evenings. Then there was the gentleman greeting guests near the entrance, whom I believe was named Gary. We discovered we'd both lived in the San Francisco Bay Area. He was delightfully chatty while I waited for rides, and whenever I returned from dinner, he'd ask, "Where did you eat?" As a passionate foodie, I absolutely loved that! It's those remembered conversations that make a place feel welcoming. Housekeeping deserves recognition, too. One morning, I requested room cleaning through the Marriott app before leaving around 6:30 a.m. When I returned around 7 p.m., the room hadn't been serviced. Then I realized I'd left my Do Not Disturb sign on the door. My mistake! The team explained they could clean the following day but kindly offered to collect my trash and bring fresh towels that evening. They arrived promptly, and my room was spotless the next day. No fuss, just thoughtful service and excellent follow-through. I've stayed at plenty of hotels where simple requests require repeated calls. Not here. Old-school hospitality. They get it! We enjoyed several meals at the hotel restaurant. One especially lovely breakfast with a colleague included perfectly prepared eggs Benedict and delicious freshly squeezed orange juice. And the spa! I booked a 50-minute massage through a Marriott promotion for $99, including gratuity. Amanda was amazing. She may be petite, but her strength and technique were impressive! I considered upgrading to deep tissue, but the medium pressure was exactly what my travel-weary muscles needed. The spa provided a robe, slippers, locker, private changing area, and peaceful treatment room. I left refreshed and wishing Amanda worked in Charlotte! Florida's heat and afternoon rainstorms kept me from enjoying the pool during most of my work trip. But on departure day, with a later flight, I finally got my perfect afternoon: a wonderful massage, sunshine, a swim in the beautifully comfortable pool, and steak nachos with a Tito's and grapefruit poolside. Pure bliss! It felt like a mini-vacation after eight busy nights. Was everything perfect? No. The property could use some cosmetic updates. But after eight nights, I'd experienced the rooms, coffee bar, restaurant, bar, spa, and pool, and the hospitality was consistently exceptional. As a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite member, I appreciate loyalty benefits, but genuine hospitality matters even more. Remembering someone's coffee, cocktail, or conversation doesn't cost a thing, yet it makes all the difference. A heartfelt thank-you to Michelle, Dylan, Amanda, our wonderful bartender, the friendly entrance greeter, and the housekeeping and restaurant teams. Getting our park passes and information from the park pass desk, was almost the opposite. She got us our passes and vouchers, yes, but did not provide details we didn't know existed, like where to go for our early entry breakfast at Three Cauldrons as the park is not open for early entry... Honestly, with the level of service from the pass desk, we would have been better off if the passes were mailed or emailed to us instead, with detailed instructions. The hotel isn't bad, but every night was noisy after 11pm. It seems like the hotel just is not insulated well. The worst part, I don't think they clean the floors in the rooms. Ours was incredibly dirty, making the bottom of our socks black'ish. Also, poorly maintained as some of our lights did not work, making the room fairly dark when trying to get ready in the mornings. Lastly, they say the Universal shuttle bus arrives about every 10 minutes, but this is also not true. Multiple occasions it was closer to 30 minutes with a couple times being over 45 minutes. I will say that Surfside has the way shorter line. However, there were times where the bus wouldn't go to Surfside unless there were passengers still on it after dropping off at Dockside. Overall, Universal has created this preferred hotel, shuttle bus situation and IMO, they do not do it well. All they need to do is provide clean rooms and timely transportation. -Maybe toss in an informative pass desk representative. We'll skip Universal Orlando from here on out. It's A LOT of money and the hotel and concierge experience just falls flat.

You've been warned! TLDR; This hotel cancelled my reservation with no notice, despite me booking direct, having confirmation number, receiving confirmation email, and entering credit card info (see photo). On 2/16/26 I arrived to check in with a confirmation number for a reservation I made four months in advance. I made the reservation directly on the company website (and not a third-party discount site). At check in, I was told by the woman at the front desk that "the manager canceled it" and that the property is no longer associated with Wyndham, so "I needed to contact Wyndham". I received no advance notice of any cancellation from Mai Hana or Wyndham. Then she claimed there was no credit card on file, and that was the reason it was cancelled. I provided a credit card at booking, and even if there had been an issue, they had my phone number and email address and never contacted me to request anything or warn me the reservation was being canceled. I only learned of the cancellation when I showed up to check in. Because it was a high demand convention week, it took about three hours to find replacement lodging, no hotels were available anywhere, and because it was late at night, many did not answer. The only option I could find was about a one hour Uber ride away (40 miles), cost roughly three times my original booking, and led to about $250 in additional travel expenses. I did not sleep that first night because I was dealing with this late at night, which negatively impacted the entire trip. The front desk employee was rude and unprofessional and made it clear she was not going to help beyond repeating that it was the manager's decision. She would not escalate to someone who could fix it, would not provide a written explanation, and offered no meaningful assistance finding alternatives. Management never contacted me afterward to address it. The photos online also did not match what the property looked like in person. I would avoid this property because there is a real risk your reservation will not be honored, and you may only find out when you arrive. I will also be filing a complaint with the appropriate Florida consumer protection agencies so there is a record of how this was handled [update, filed March 2026].

My partner and I travel quite a bit for work and leisure and stay at a variety of hotels for a number of reasons (price, proximity, pets, etc.) ranging from Fairmonts and Intercontinentals to La Quintas and Comfort Inns. We know what we are booking and, at the end of the day, want a quiet, clean, and comfortable place to rest our heads. This trip was a short excursion to Disney World and we were traveling with our cat, so our hunt was on for a reasonably priced, pet-friendly hotel near the Disney Parks. We came across Ramada Inn Westgate on a travel advisory website. From the website it looked clean, modest, reasonably priced, and in a great location. Upon researching their pet policy, we found that they had a VERY approachable pet fee - $50 for your stay but they could not be in the tower rooms. That's wasn't an issue for us, as many comparable hotels would have a nightly pet fee that would have made it more than $50 for our stay. Some hotels charge upwards toward $100 per night for a pet to stay - outrageous! So we booked the hotel and set off for the Orlando area. STAFF: I never interacted with the staff as my partner went to check us in while I stayed in the car with the cat. From the few interactions he had, however, he said they were EXTREMELY friendly and professional. GROUNDS: Fairly good shape. The pool looked nice and there's a mini-golf course area. I know there are at least two restaurants as well but we didn't take advantage of either. The tower and front of the hotel definitely looks cleaner and in better shape than the back motel-style building but that's not to discredit it as being below par. Everything was in good shape and pleasing to the eye. ROOMS: Our room seemed a bit older but not in bad condition at all. It was very clean, the beds were a little creaky but very comfortable, and there's a mini-fridge in the room which I always appreciate for leftovers or a chilled bottle of wine. It's the style of bathroom where the sink and vanity are outside of the toilet and shower room which makes it convenient and accessible for families. I saw some rooms with carpeting but we were pleased with the tile flooring in our room so we weren't inconveniencing housekeeping with any litter messes. ACCESSIBILITY: There are many restaurants (fast food, buffet, and table service) in the vicinity. Liquor stores and a Walmart are within a stones throw. Accessing all of the Disney parks is also a breeze as it's only a five minute drive and there's plenty of parking at the hotel. OVERALL: A GREAT stay! I would definitely stay here again. As with any guest, it truly depends what you're looking for. Don't think you're stepping into a Grand Hyatt or Hilton, but it's great, affordable, clean, and accessible place for any family looking for a nice place to stay while in the area. Basically we used the room to go back to after a long day of enjoying ourselves at the attractions. They do offer free wifi, a pool, pool tables, workout fitness center, business center and a free shuttle to the Disney resort (about a mile or so away). Be sure you be aware of the early checkout time, which is 10 AM. Reasonable rates.
