The attention to detail was stellar - kids nood, cute bunk beds, dining areas, large kitchen, claw foot bathtub, shiplap, I can go on and on. I even told my sisters-in-law that every room is like a pinterest set-up of all the room configuration you pinned. It made me want to really live there or find me a nice cottage in Saint George. This is the perfect place to stay if you are headed out to the plays in Tuacahn and a short drive away from all the Downtown activities and restaurants. Speaking of downtown, check out the Farmer's Market on Saturday- the many antique/ refurbishing shops and fun restaurants. There really is much to do in the little town, and staying at Las Palmas is the perfect landing spot to adventure out from. The rentals are spacious, but depending on the unit, some are dated or gaudy depending on taste (some are also more modernly furnished); the units come with washer/dryer, kitchens and BBQ's and all the amenities you need to cook in and feel at home. I believe they offer monthly rentals in addition to vacay rentals, starting at $95/night vacay or $1,000/month for a 1 bedroom. There are several pools on the grounds, playgrounds, plenty of parking and the Green Valley Resort Spa is adjacent to the property- **Now called the Amira Resort, coming Oct 1, 2017, which will be a 4 star and 4 diamond luxury property - so a lovely Spa is located right next door!**

Then, just five days before our arrival, we were informed that our house had been given to another family. The company admitted the mistake was their fault, yet told us there was nothing they could do except offer a much smaller house that could not accommodate our group. What made the situation even worse was their attitude. They stated they would not inconvenience the other party who booked after us, despite acknowledging that we had reserved the property first and that the error was entirely theirs. The lack of accountability, poor customer service, and complete disregard for our family's plans was extremely disappointing. I would never book with this company again and would strongly caution others before trusting them with their vacation accommodations.

The bathroom appeared to have some mold; the shower didn't drain properly and there was dog hair everywhere. Kitchen basics like salt and pepper were not provided and the coffee maker was broken. Beds were okay but not great; linens were thin and scratchy. For a place that was as pricey as this, we expected better. We also had an issue getting in the front door (lock was jammed), and we couldn't get ahold of the host for at least a half hour. When she did respond, she was downright rude and unhelpful. It was clear we were inconveniencing her. The location wasn't great either; there was a lot of road noise and a bunch of construction nearby. All in all, we were very disappointed in the whole experience. We've rented from other hosts in St. George before and had great experiences. Bottom line: avoid this property manager.
