Mole Espresso

This place is an awesome addition to front street! The upstairs bar you walk into has more of a sports bar vibe with big tv's. The speakeasy of course the highlight though. You walk downstairs into a dimly lit room with a glowing bar. It is very intimate and romantic. You will definitely want to make reservations on the weekends because they have limited space but it adds to the experience. Most of the time they give you a little taster upon entering which I love because (who doesn't like a free little treat!) cocktails are well made by friendly staff. My fav is the sweeter heat! Note: they have a selection of different espresso martinis which I find to be fun! A spin on a classic keeps it exciting.

I love speakeasies and this one was really cool! Don't want to give up all the secrets, but the entrance appears as a post office. We only got one drink each. I got The Alchemist's Secret Garden. I was hesitant because it was $20. But I thought yolo because the ingredients sounded too good; smoke infused gin, green chartreuse, ginger liqueur, lime honey & mint. It was incredible, and the presentation was gorgeous! The coolest drink presentation I've ever had. My friend got Love on the Rock. It was a vodka-based drink paired with watermelon pop rocks. Put a little bit of pop rocks in your mouth, then take a sip of the drink - it's a weird sensation but the flavors worked so well! The bartender that served us, and the host were both really nice. It's a super small space and they don't take reservations. Unfortunately if you have a big party, it's not likely you'll get in (we overheard that exact scenario while sitting at the bar). I believe they said they have around 20 seats. We loved the moody and intimate vibe though!

Perfect cocktails, perfect pizza. We stopped out on a Thursday night looking for a bite to eat and…read morea drink or two. Was fun figuring out how to get inside. It's a small place and we thought we'd have to wait but luckily a couple were leaving so we got seats at the bar. It would have been worth the wait. We picked a couple drinks off the menu and they were incredibly beautiful and tasted divine. The pizza we ordered had anchovies and pepperoni and I swear it's the best wood fired pizza I've ever had. I wanted another drink and asked the bartender to make me a rum drink of their choice. Within minutes some amazing concoction, it was smoking inside a glass dome of some sort. The garnish was a flamed cinnamon stick and orange rind that looked like a sword. It was incredible. The vibe is nice and patrons are friendly. It's not loud, so you can carry on a conversation, and the music was nice. There is a cute little back room with tables too for groups of 2-4 people. Parking is plentiful on the street and nearby parking lots. Within walking distance of other bars and restaurants. Up and coming area. I can't recommend the Oak & Olive enough and I can't wait to go back.

Entrance: The downstairs area is nicely, appointed the booth where you can sit for meals have their own TVs and in the sitting area with the larger TV there are outlets on the arms of the couch so you can charge your computer or your phone or your tablet. Patio: the patio is large and has some standing tables a few fire pits with the little glass rocks inside. It's really nice and it's close to the street so you can see people walking back-and-forth to other shops in the area. I like the patio. Location: the location is really good. It's really close to the highway and there are plenty of food options as long as you don't wait until too late. There's a food hall next-door, but it closes on Sundays at three unfortunately and 7 on weekdays. The hours may vary by season though so check their website. Parking: very hit or miss there is free parking in front of the hotel in open lots, but there are lots of other attractions in the area and if it's a busy night, it might be hard to find parking. Since most people check into hotels on weekend evenings, it's often difficult to find parking. There is a little space for you to pull into check-in and unload your luggage, but it looks like it can only hold two cars so hopefully people don't abuse it. Rooms: the rooms are good. They have plenty of outlets and charging areas also different lighting options. The main problem I've had with the rooms is that the showers the grout isn't clean and I really don't like that in my experience. The rest of the bathroom has been generally clean.

When I brought these things to the managers attention, it was all he could do to give me back the money I was overcharged, nothing else for the time I had to waste to get it. They should use this hotel as training for how to alienate customers. Two stars only for the location and because the staff at the Starbucks were really friendly
