We dined in again recently and the food is really well prepared. Unlike many Indian retardants where the proteins sit in the sauce and get overdone, the chicken breast and prawns we had were perfectly done! We had chocolate cake for dessert and it appeared to be a slice of very generic tuxedo cake and scoops of very icy ice cream. Get the food, and skip dessert. read more

Ordered delivery here the other day and found the food to be exceptional. We ordered butter chicken, their signature beef curry with rice, naan, and pakoras. Everything was delicious and the portions were huge. The mains lasted 2-3 meals. Delivery was a bit on the slower side, about 45 minutes, but the delivery charge was really cheap. Horrible service. Food did not make up for it. Bland and the vegetables tasted like they were either old or frozen.

I just recently discovered Vaades, and I am overly impressed. I've eaten in house a few times, and had take out even more. The curry is always freshly made and consistent. The staff are always polite and welcoming. It is everything I expect when eating out. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic Indian food experience. read more

Our delivery order took 2hrs to reach our house when the website said 50min. The food was good but unfortunately it was cold.

I have eaten Indian food frequently in England and was looking forward to a Vancouver meal. Ordered mild vegetable biryani and it was so spicy all I could taste was my mouth burning, felt ill afterwards. Never want to repeat that experience. Very disappointed. It was not a mistake in the order as my friend also ordered a mild dish and it was very spicy. read more

My friend and I had a positive experience a few weeks ago. I had the chicken coconut curry and my friend the prawn masala. Both very tasty and copious amounts of chicken and prawns. I also had the garlic naan and it was dee-li-cious! The staff were friendly and the atmosphere relaxing. We will be coming back again to try something different! read more

Had the worst customer service I have ever had! Left a voice mail with a reservation request, received no call back, but we showed anyway to be told they never check messages when they are busy, but they werre taking walk-ins! How is a walk-in more important than a customer who takes the interest to book a reservation?! No apology or acknowledgement from them. Told us it would be a 20 minute wait. Group of 8 had walked in just before us. We should have been seated first since I called 2 hrs earlier to reserve. To add insult, the couple seated after us - also walk-ins - received attention before us and manager walked right past us without even a look, water or menu. Were they trying to be as rude as possible to me? I had to call him to the table and ask him to take our order - which we knew from waiting so long. Then food took over an hour to arrive. I would never had endured this if not for the fact that I had a Groupon and this was my only chance to use it. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. read more
