It's been 4 years of great service at V. Vian nails!!! I've sat in just about everyone's chair or foot spa and received great service time after time. I love letting the technicians freestyle my designs they always come out amazing! Pricing is clearly posted and fair and have remained pretty consistent to pre-Covid prices. The staff take care with protecting themselves and the customers. Masks, plexiglass, and hand sanitizer is the new standard. They now have new chairs and foot spas come out and relax! read more

Really needed my nails done for the weekend so ended up at this nail shop that was recommended to me. I have driven past this place a million times because it's on a busy street but never noticed it was actually there. Came in on a Saturday afternoon and there was only one person there getting serviced. I was greeted right away and sat down at a station. Do not expect glitz and glamour or a drink - this is your regular good ol' nail shop. It definitely could use some upgrades but nothing that bothered me. I already had gel on my nails and instead of soaking off the gel, the nail tech went to town with her buffing machine. I am not a fan of this method because it tends to hurt sometimes, and ruin your nails, but I wanted to get the full experience at this nail shop. She did do a good job with my cuticles. They have variety of DND gel colors to chose from and I went with "blushing pink". She did three coats and I am content with the nail job. It cost me $30. Would I go back? If I needed a quick nail job done yes, but this wouldn't be my home shop. read more

I went on a Thursday not crowded which was great I got coffin long clear pink nails and a polish change on my toes the polish change was $25 I said no I because they claim it was due to I wanted gel so I had gotten regular polish o had time to blow didn't think it would be a dramatic difference but I had to come back Saturday because polish came off on all my toes I was livid that day I was in a rush request if I could pay the difference and get gel she demanded another $20 when my toes weren't done for a week after her conversation to her peers in a foreign language she then said ok $15 I was shocked but I needed my toes fixed and had to leave they normally aren't bad but that day made me take my business elsewhere oh and the gel chipped two days later read more

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value I just want to say that when I stepped into this place it's a local spot that is around the way. The spot is in a predominantly black area so naturally the prices are a little bit higher because I believe that salons like this especially nail salons like this like to drain the black community. So I go into this nail salon and I go in to get a fill-in which is $40 and a pedicure which is $35 they literally text me extra money for nail lengths even though there's no sign in there that says that they charge extra for nail length. I left out of there paying $125 for literally nails that I could go to another hood spot and get done for at least $55 At most. Not to mention when I started questioning their prices and why they didn't have things properly labeled they started talking in their own language which I think is very rude and plus I didn't even get the answer to my question. This place is not worth your money when thinking of someplace this last minute and that you need in a bind please go watch a way to find another space do not and I repeat do not ever go to the nail salon ever again they are expensive for no reason and the quality is not even there. So I came in here on a whim pretty late on a Sunday (maybe 7p) because my regular nail shop was closed and Tina did a great job!! I did have to wait quite a bit as she was the only tech working that nite, but hey it was a Sunday and I needed my nails done! I got the coffin shape acrylics and she put it on nice and thin and I didn't have to coach her into getting the shape correct (I hate that) AND it was cheaper than my normal shoppe!! I'm only giving 4 stars because the shop could use some remodeling and the color selection of reg nail Polish wasn't great. There was a much wider variety of gel polish. But I'll be back! read more

I've gotten my nails done here twice in one month (every two weeks). A lady did my full set which she did a great job and prices were great. Today Harry did my nails and he did a great job as well. They have this new galaxy looking nail polish/art that he did on my nails. They look great! I also have came and gotten my feet done multiple times in the pass. Only want to give it 1 star...however the other star is for Lynn who finished my nails... All I can say is WTF! So my experience was awful for a gel manicure on short ass numb nails...easy right. Walked in (no appt) everyone had a customer getting nails, designs, etc. Then I was told 5minutes...cool because I was seated in that time. They gave me an #1 older lady who spoke no English but no biggie my service is simple so I wasn't tripping until she started. OMG.. I am almost sure she didn't even know what she was doing herself confused as hell. Backwards, no cuticle sofner, cleaned nothing and applied oil to my nails before gel huh(?)...the worst manicure (start) ever in my life... sooo when she was taking to long and needed to do a pedicure, the owner comes over fussing at her for not doing a manicure properly as she is cleaning my cuticles and clipping my nails. So it looked much better....so #2 the owner who was now going to paint my nails, was in the middle of a full set walked off with me soaking(which I hate) in some acetone to remove some leftover gel...backwards after the mani was over but I needed it. At this point I'm over it but I'm to far in. So I see this lady coming to work, put her bags down-the owner is talking to her and I can understand alittle..she wants her to finish. She makes pedi water for a couple first and then gets to me. #3 (Lynn) the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. I was very polite, informed her that she was third person and wanted to get this over(she apologized) asked her if she was finishing me and she said Yes. She painted my nails very well-the polish was nice, neat and not thick..just like I love it. So she saved the day..she told me she always takes her time no matter who rushes her and I believe her. (the owner asked in their language had I been there before) She asked me had I been there before and I told her no, this was my 1st time via great Yelp Reviews, (she told the owner)... she really really apologized then. She doesn't work a heavy schedule she told me, so if I was to ever ever go back it would be only because of her and with an appointment. To add I did tip her Lynn deserved it and I'm a hell of a tipper in general with great service and experience. I was super disappointed today with my experience based off reviews. read more

Love them. It took me a while to nail down the techs that I like, but my favorites are Tina for the nails and Vivian for the eyebrows. I make appointments and they honor them. No matter how busy they are, if you're on time you get seen on time :-) They're jammed packed on Friday night's so I wouldn't recommend going then, unless you make the appointment. read more

Never again will I go back there in my life.. These reviews can't all be real. I went in there today to only walk out wishing I never went in there in the first place. I went in for a fill and gel polish. So I picked my polish that I wanted which was gel polish. A light lavender grey and a sparkly clear with silver grey reflects. Well after the lady finished my nails the lavender grey was a bright purple color and the sparkly reflective polish looked streaky and nothing like the polishes I picked out. When I inquired about it they said well it's the right color blame the company who makes the gel polishes. No... So I said I don't like this and for them to change it. They did however when I inquired about a specific polish that I seen the guy who took over my nails told me no. He rushed through the removal of the other polish that I said I didn't like because it did not look like the original color I picked, his work was sloppy and he filed down the acrylic so much that it's thin and my nails will not last. She FLEW through my time slot and apparently couldnt get done fast enough which compromised all quality and my nails looked decent for about three hours. The first time I washed my hands, water was under the new acrylic. She nipped my fingers with the dremmel style file multiple times and even though she was nice, I wont be returning due to very rushed work. Price was good but now I see why it's so good. Came here because the girl who regularly does my nails at another local nail salon quit, so I'm on the hunt for a new nail tech. I was seated with Tony. Asked for almond shape nail and he looked at me and asked, "that's the round shape, right?" I confirmed that it was in fact a rounded nail. Well somehow I received a Stiletto nail that was done quite sloppy and was told sometime later into my service that I would be charged extra for the shaping. Like every Vietnamese ran establishment, they will NEVER acknowledge their mistake or shortcomings, this is why so many arguments ensue within these places - they mess up and get an attitude when you point it out. Additionally, my daughter was charged extra for choosing a different nail color on a couple of her nails. Maybe we were spoiled with our old tech but this didn't seem right, came off like a nickel and dime tactic to get more money.
