We have been to these little theaters, which are right across from the Marriott several times over the last few years. They are in need of an upgrade, but they have very affordable, fun shows that are always great for the family. We've seen Jersey Boys, V - the ultimate variety show, and an Elvis Impersonator here. This visit, we were happy to get some very reasonably priced tickets for the Piano Man -Elton John /Billy Joel show. We decided to go to the box office and bought our tickets there because we could choose our seats and we wanted to sit away from everyone else in the back, which was perfect for us! Our tickets were $60. each. They told us the door opened at six, but it was really the little balcony bar upstairs that opened at six where they encouraged you to get a drink. Since we don't drink much, we just hung out and waited until we could get in the theater. The theaters are definitely showing their age. However, our seats were comfortable and even in the very back row, we had a great view of the small stage because it is a raked seating. We are always amazed by the very high quality of the performers at this theater. Kyle Martin's interpretation of the piano songs of Billy Joel and Elton John were right on. He has a fabulous voice and really grabbed the audience and held their intense attention through the entire show! How he can keep up that energy for an hour and a half is simply amazing. The audience went wild, and we particularly like the slides in the background, which made it a more complete show. Also amazing are all the accompanying musicians who play with him, who really are studio quality musicians! It's a fun way to see a show without going broke in Las Vegas! read more

I've been to V Theater at Planet Hollywood a few times for different shows, and this visit was for V - The Ultimate Variety Show. The theater is small and cozy, so the seats are close to the stage and you really feel part of what's going on. The staff are friendly, and the place has a relaxed, casual vibe. I actually liked the no-camera policy , it makes it easy to just soak it all in. I bought my ticket online, but when I got there, they used my phone to scan the QR code. I heard some other people also bought online but somehow knew how to get their tickets at the counter , I honestly didn't get how that worked, it was a bit confusing. Check-in aside, some parts of the theater feel a bit dated, and a few seats aren't super comfy, but overall it's a solid little spot if you're into intimate venues rather than the huge arenas. read more

We went here for the Prince Tribute show which was great! Kudos to the performers! I absolutely would go back to watch the show again....except not at this venue. Note- they didn't even open the fires until almost 25 minutes after the showtime in our tickets. AND, they offer 'complimentary' pictures in front of a back drop as you enter the venue but absolutely 100% try to sell you those pictures which they have already printed and for all to see as you exit the theater. This place is a dump/dive, but the black walls and dim lights tried to hide it (that's just shameful!) - It's so incredibly filthy!!! Turn on the lights and deep clean it please!! The amount of dust accumulating on the walls and ceiling fixtures had me worried about what I was breathing in and made me wish I was wearing a mask. The ladies bathroom was nasty AF! Like does anyone ever clean it?! The stall doors are in need of repair and in desperate need of a sanitizing spray and wipe down. The Variety Show at the V Theater is super fun and super affordable. Since we're Tahiti Village Resort members, we scored tickets for under $40 each, so the four of us went and had a great time. The show is kid-friendly, and there were definitely a few wow moments, just not the huge, over-the-top wow you'd expect from something like Cirque du Soleil. Still, it was a really enjoyable experience and absolutely worth seeing, especially if you've never checked out the Vegas variety show before. And here's a pro tip: if you're a resort member, always check for member discounts first before buying online or at the box office. It could save you a good amount! read more

This is a small theater inside planet Hollywood hotel. They have a special light show on top of the theater, but we didn't see it when we were there. The theater is not fancy, but it's fine for a small show. They have a bathroom inside and they gave us a free photobooth picture. The seats are pretty good; I don't think there were bad seats even in the back. read more

We have seen a few shows here and they definately have a great variety of different shows that are very good and entertaining. This review is particularly for the venue itself. They have several different theaters depending on what show you see. All of them have decent seating, sound, lights and stage view. Staff could be a little more helpful and friendly, and a lot of seats will not have drink holders so we don't get any during the show. The ony thing I don't like about buying seats, is that it does not allow you to pick your seats only the section you would like to sit in. I like to pick seats where I am off to the side so I can stand and not block anyones view, but unfortunately the venue assigns your seats. They are also not very clear upfront on some shows that the do not want video or photos. Also, parking is going to cost you about $25 since this venue is in the Miricle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino. read more

The theater staff and performers at Zombie Burlesque clearly have no respect for personal boundaries. I came to enjoy the show -- not to be forced onstage, tied up, and humiliated while people laughed and recorded me. I repeatedly signaled I didn't want to participate, but they didn't care. Instead, they made me the center of one degrading skit after another. It felt more like bullying than comedy. This place might be fine if you're into that kind of thing -- but if you're not, or if you value consent, stay away. read more

Last minute tickets! We went to see the Prince tribute, Purple Rain. We booked 2 hours ahead so we got tickets in the second to last row. No one was behind us. I would have to say that being LAST to buy tickets, they were not that bad. Downside was that we were not able to pick our seats. Website offered "tiered" options and I couldn't see the seats by price. There was a lot of "The Time" songs with the Morris Day impersonator. I was okay with it but hubby had no idea who they were. Appolonia would have been a nice add instead of the sexy girls. dancing. I understand Jason/Prince needed vocal rests. Jason Tenner was spot on! He and the band were grreaattt! With having the back row all to myself I was able to dance my axx off. Acoustics were perfect, not too loud, not too low. We could see stage and entertainers pretty well so I'd say there are no Bad seats at the V. We were not offered drink service being in the "nosebleeds". I guess that's fair. People started forming a line around 8pm but The doors did not open until 8:30pm. Pending your seat; when you enter they offer a free keychain pic (cute idea). The theater is small and tight. It is older and could use a renovation but overall once the show started you forget about those things. There are multiple shows playing at once. The tickets are reasonably priced. With the many movies that I have seen over the year and the great theaters you can see in your life there have been many theaters that have been great places you can come and get away from the many things you come across in daily life with the many comedy and Live Broadway Hollywood shows. When I saw the V theater from the outside it was one place that had a mystery to it the shows and the live performances, they have a great welcome that I had received was the best. Located in one of the best Hotel Casino and resort the many large retail stores that are located nearby has some of the greatest retail and sportswear. Travel to the City of Las Vegas is one of the greatest adventures where you can buy tickets to the many shows from the Ticket Company that is Tix4Nite. Finding a great ticket agency where you can buy low-cost tickets which many other places on the strip cab upwards to the many price ranges of 170.00 to 200.00$ a ticket when you find a great place with low price it saves you so much more money with going to the box office. The V Theater located in the Mile of Stores with the many restaurants and the great pubs you can have some of the best frozen drinks and the great appetizers. V Theater has several theaters you can go to they have separate shows that are shown when you see the many people come out crowds can be large with the many shows that have sold out. Some of the greatest shows you can see are the Hypnosis shows and the Magic and Illusions of Nathan Burton one of the best Magicians meets with people takes photos so you can have something to take back with you on the Flight. When you come to the main lobby before the theater you see the lines which are short when it gets closer to showtime is head over to the Gogo Dancer bar that you will find nearby they make some of the best frozen and mixed drinks. Many areas of the Mile of Stores they are non-smoking yet many places they do allow smoking since it is close by the Casino. One thing is to look for those areas that are nonsmoking and the areas which allow smoking if you do smoke is smoke outside before you come to the retail zone many stores are open. The many great locations at the Mile of Stores and with the V Theater you can have the best time you can take in the drinks to the shows no glass bottles are allowed. The times you have in Las Vegas are some of the bests with the many theaters that you can find at the many Hotels Casino Resorts tickets are the best when you buy from Tix4Nite. They offer you discounts if you don't want to get dinner inside you can get dinner at the many other locations the drinks and the good time you can have the best dinner at one of the many restaurants that are nearby. V Theater is one of the best and the most fun with some of the best show line ups and the easy access to the tickets you can get on the strip and at the Box office in front of the V Theater when you attend the shows you have the greatest time great drinks nearby the theater restaurants close by for late night dinning. I went to V Theater to attend the Zombie Burlesque show. I know random show, but I went for a bachelorette event. The theater is a nice size. I think any seat would be good to see the show. The party I went with had no problem getting in the theater and finding our seats. Overall, a pretty decent theater, but the show was a little strange for me. The theater is located on the upper floor of the building...upon taking the stairs up to it I found it kind of odd, There seem to be a room in which it was being worked on...we were sat in the middle of the room toward an opening. They had regular fold up chairs, I mean the show was alright but the way the room was situated was kind of strange. We had an amazing time at this Theater! This was my first time watching a hypnosis show and I can tell you it was hilarious and one for the books. If you are in Vegas, you should definitely have this experience. We saw the Zombie Burlesque, it was entertaining. The one star review is for the poor management and training of staff made obvious by the customer service at the box office. If you need to collect tickets from the box office make sure you leave at least half an hour to 45 minutes. They had one agent serving the whole line so people who needed to collect tickets they had paid for (30 seconds of time) were mixed in with people needing to buy tickets (5-10 minutes). This resulted in a line of 10 deep 15 minutes before the show start time. When I mentioned this to the girl checking the tickets she said they were short staffed and brushed me off. I understand staffing is difficult at the moment but they could have had two lines (one for purchases, one for will call) and had the box office agent alternating between both, especially before the start of a show. This would get people in on time so they could have a good experience and recommend it to their friends. At the end of the show they had 3 people selling photos (two who were there at the start of the show) so they had staff they could have potentially redeployed for the busy period. There was a large puddle of water between the sink area and the ladies toilet, a woman slipped in it and fell. We were going to go to another show today but when we heard it was at the V Theater we turned it down because we didn't want to deal with the ticket pickup. read more

That's Entertainment! The V Theater is located inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino and features two showrooms. We had complimentary vouchers given to us by our timeshare and we went to redeem at the box office for seats. The box office is just right outside of the V Theater and line forms next to the indoor fountain. The line went pretty quick and the attendant assisting us was very helpful. We also had vouchers to be redeemed at the Saxe Theater and it turns out we could also redeem those vouchers at this same box office here at the V Theater. That makes it really convenient for us that we didn't have to stand in line again. We had back to back shows that same evening 15 mins of each other. The venue is small so anywhere we sat we had good visual of the stage so we didn't bother upgrading to VIP seats and our General Admission tix were just fine. We have had the opportunity to watch a couple of shows at the V Theater. * Marc Savard Comedy Hypnosis Show (Nov 2014) - This is an audience participation show. We loved the theater and it was so awesome to see The Jets & celebrate some of the great music of our formative years. They put on a fantastic show and we loved every minute of it. I've seen a lot of these sort of shows and there was clearly a lot of thought and planning put into this one. They played all of their biggest hits and a great sampling of other great music from the 80's and 90's. A lot of it was from artists who they've performed with. the venue was intimate and the acoustics were solid. We enjoyed it so much we'll probably go back and see it again! read more

It's generally family friendly, which is rare in Vegas. I think there were nine acts total. All were topnotch and would easily get a great response on America's Got Talent. The price is very reasonable for what you get. Don't miss it. The theater was small enough so that any seat in the house is great but we were really close and it was amazing! I was really impressed with the V Theater. There was no line to pick up tickets, the easy on the eyes young man who helped me was kind, personable, and professional. My husband has a knee injury and could not navigate the stairs and a very nice man personally walked us to a hidden elevator and took us to the waiting area prior to anyone else entering the venue. My review is more about the show I saw rather than the actual theatre. I would recommend getting to your show early unless you have VIP. The way the theatre is shaped you might not have a great view. We saw The Mentalist. It was a great show! I still can't figure out how he did most of the act. I guess that's my loss for not buying the DVD. In the crowd we had a bit of a jerk who attempted to half-ass participate in the show. He really just seemed to be rude towards the mentalist, and boy did the mentalist he let him have a piece of his mind. We all cheered! The show was great, we had VIP and sat in the second row. What a wonderful experience! My boyfriend and I received vouches for dinner and a show, so we chose to see the zombie burlesque. We picked general admission seating (first come, first serve), as it was about $20/person upgrade to VIP. We dined at the Italian restaurant right in front and then went up to the theater about 30 minutes before the show. Since there was a show before us, we were told to wait in the lounge, which really turned into a disorganized line of people trying to get good seats. The show started late because of the previous show's delay, but it didn't bother us. My boyfriend and I sat in the first general admission row right behind the last VIP row, so it turned out great for us. Plus, we sat by the aisle, so it was easy for us to order drinks from the server. It also made us an easy target for show interactions when the performers came off the stage. We ordered 2 diet cokes and whiskeys, and it cost about $30. The server said they pour heavier drinks because it's about an hour and fifteen minute show, and the drink was very strong indeed. The show had a little bit of everything: singling, dancing, comedy, and of course, burlesque. We laughed a lot and were in awe of some of the performers' talent! Zombie burlesque, 11/10. Dealing with this theater -11/10. I called a total of 52 times throughout the day and no one will answer. I emailed. No one will answer. When we were there the entire staff acted like it was their first day. We were sent upstairs but then the upstairs people said we were there too early but we could sit in the lounge. Lounge was closed. So we sat on the ground. Once they said we COULD line up, no one told us where or what theater so everyone was just kinda standing around. We eventually were seated and were 15 minutes late doing so with no explanation as to why. Go see Zombie Burlesque. The performers are amazing. But be prepared to deal with untrained staff before doing so. read more
