I came in wanting to get a very simple manicure with hard gel. My appointment took fairly long (1.5…read morehours), and Rachel my nail technician was really kind during the appointment. It was at first a pleasant experience. It's funny that she pointed out lifting on my previous nails and assured she would do a better job, well, that wasn't true. (My prior nails were week 3 nails and none had come off.) I came in on Friday Sep 26th, and I'm writing this review on October 4th, 8 days after my appointment. (I have one nail left on my hands that's still done.... 9 had broken off or fallen off...) By the next day, the 27th, one of my nails had already lifted and FALLEN OFF my nail. I was working and couldn't reach out till the following Monday-- By Monday, I had lost about 4 nails and here we are now, I wanted to see how long they'd last, and it doesn't look great. I wouldn't recommend this salon. Especially not for hard gel or gel x! Don't waste your money!!

I went in today with my sister and friend as a walk-in. The place was not busy at all and they went…read moreright to work. I got a pedicure with David for $28. He was very accommodating. I let them know the temperature of water was too cold and he did not mind changing it at all. They do give you a complimentary drink with their service. I was surprised they had other selections besides soda and water. I posted the picture of the selection and I got the green tea with lemon, yum! David took his time on my nails. He did the usual routine of removing the cuticles, cutting my nails, and then filing them. He asked if I was ticklish and so he made sure not to scrub my feet too hard. He then went over my toes to double check his work. He did a great job painting them and I left satisfied. BUT... After I left, I was walking and noticed my nail polish chipped on my big toe. I realized that the brand of the nail polish is not something I've heard before. I'm not sure if the nail polish is good brand or if the nail polish is old. Overall, David is great! I would recommend him but I would consider the nail polish possibly being old before coming here. The bathroom did not have toilet seat covers (so good thing I squat lol) and they didn't have hand soap. FYI: The average price for a pedicure in Vancouver is about $25-$30 compared to California which is about $18-$22. If you get a mani and pedi, it's $40. Extra $10 each if you like gel.

My mom and daughter came her a week ago. The nail salon is very nicely decorated on the inside…read more Everything is clean and has a welcoming vibe. Lots of free parking in front of the store. My daughter got gel with French tips. However after only a few days they began to come off. I called and they said they had a 7 day guarantee and that we could come back and fix it for free. They were very friendly about it and did not make us feel uncomfortable. I really appreciated it. Apple, was my daughter's nail technician and she was so kind and professional. We ended up just getting regular gel nail polish. The front desk girls have great customer service. But some of the other workers there are very intimidating and just stare at you. Every customer should be greeted and welcomed in, after all we did pick your establishment to spend our money. Overall, the experience was good. They have so many nail color options and styles, you will find something you love. We will be back to try them out again!

I came to this salon about six months ago for the first time. During that visit, the nail…read moretechnician accidentally nicked my finger, causing it to bleed. It was a very small cut, so I didn't make a big deal out of it and let him continue. A few minutes later, while filing another nail, it burned so badly that my eyes watered. I even said, "Ouch! Maybe my nails are just sensitive today." Despite that experience, the customer service that day was kind, so I left thinking maybe it was just an off day. When my friend suggested we come back this past Saturday, I was hesitant but decided to give the salon another chance. I spent $150 on my nails because my daughter's birthday party is next Saturday, and I wanted to get them done early so I wouldn't have to worry about them during the busy week. We left for Seattle after my appointment and returned Monday. By Sunday--less than 24 hours later--my nails had already started chipping. I went back to the salon to have them look at the issue. Instead of acknowledging that something might have gone wrong, the first thing I was told was that "this gel doesn't last long." I asked, "Less than 24 hours?" I was then asked if I had been cooking a lot for my daughter's party. I explained that the party wasn't for another six days, so that wasn't the cause. During the conversation, the customer service representative rolled her eyes at me, which made the experience even more disappointing. My issue isn't the money. It's the lack of customer service and accountability. Sometimes products fail or mistakes happen--that's understandable. What matters is how a business responds. I ended up going to my regular nail salon, and the difference was night and day. As soon as I walked in, they asked, "Oh no, did we do this?" When I explained what had happened, they fixed my nails with care, kindness, and without making me feel like I had done something wrong. I believe good customer service is about listening to your customers and standing behind your work. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience here, and because of that, my friend my daughter and I, won't be returning. My friends nail was also damaged and her finger nicked at this appointment but I will let her write her own review. UPDATE: THanks for the response again this confirms that they are blaming the client and lying. No apology about how I was treated. Your response speaks volumes. If you did stand to your 7 day policy I would have been treated differently from the start and this review would never have happened. Not the clients fault that you use cheap material.

This was supposed to be a relaxing experience but turned out to disrupt my next few days. Unbelievable $80 for this is absolutely insane. Got a pedicure here and the lady cut the side of my toenail down all the way to the cuticle. I can't walk on my foot because my big toe hurts so bad. I screamed when she did it and couldn't believe how much of my toe nail she cut off. When I got home, examined all my toes and she cut all of my toe nails at an angle and ruined the shape of my nail? I have no idea why. She did not paint my full toe nail. She painted about 70% of my nail and didn't paint any of the sides, got tons of polish all over my skin. Had to take today off because my toe hurts so had. I'm praying it's not infected. It's going to take forever for my nail to grow back and probably be an ingrown. Not to mention the entire time this lady was trying to up sale me on getting a more expensive pedicure and I kept refusing. It was exhausting. I am beyond pissed at how much my toe hurts. I can't believe it. Do not come here if you value walking. My friend came here and had the exact same experience. Except both of her toes are in serious pain. Go to lavish nails instead.
