I can remember walking into downtown area, which wasn't far away considering the town is 5 streets going N/S and by 5 streets going E/W. We would walk down get some chips and soda for our stay at the Grandparents. We also used to buy fishing bait there when we were younger. I could come into the store and had not been there and because my grandad had told the owner Mr. Engel all about his grand kids, He would ask how college was going and how football was, It was scary at times at how well he knew his clientele. The store isn't to big, but the kindness and hospitality of the Engel Family and workers, was always the tops. We were in town last year, and had to stop by and see the store. Great place with great memories.

The shop rotates 8 flavors of ice cream and serves ice cream in the form of scoops, banana splits, brownie splits, floats, malts, and shakes. I shared a banana split which came with three generous ice cream scoops and three toppings. Delicious flavors, great service, and wonderful mission. I love both kinds of coffee but not many places specialize in African beans. Sidy, the owner, is very nice and chatted with us for awhile.
