When I received it there were only 2 fish with a small amount of tater tots. I was very disappointed with the portions. I was going to order a salad. The salad didn't look good at all. I also wasn't too happy with the waitress. She seem so rude to my friends and I. They also seem to get the order wrong. They need to hire more professional people or at least train them better with good manners. The portions needs to better if they want customers to come back. This includes quality.

We have…read moreeaten there three times when in Hastings and have been impressed with the great service, friendly atmosphere and most of all the fresh, made to order menu choices. Daily specials rotate. We have had several of the burgers ( Patty Melt) and my favorite the Chicken Fried Steak and eggs. Definetly homemade and cooked to order. A plus for Hastings to have such a great dining spot. The food is not fast food but worth the little extra

Masked cashiers can't help with tips. Nice to see smiles and hear people speak clearly. Deaf individuals are discriminated against obviously. Masks we know now never worked (unfortunately it's a fact/TRUTH). Masked individuals are making a political statement which is not needed. If masked people are sick or have autoimmune issues, maybe they should stay home or not be taking orders from people. There's prob something else they can handle. And if not customer service isn't their thing. Go walk a dog. 5 stars bc I'm trying to help (by being honest).

The first time I visited the barista made me a personalized coffee drink based off my preferences and she knocked it out of the park! I also ordered the Celestial Pesto sandwich based off her recommendation and it was simple but so delicious!! It was so good, in fact, that I returned a couple days later to order that sandwich again before I left! This time I ordered a lavender lemonade to drink and it was yummy! I love the couches spread out throughout the place and the board games they have waiting on a shelf for anyone to pull them out. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

I ordered a really yummy pesto grilled sandwich to go with potato salad and a 32 ounce iced tea with some vanilla syrup. There was lots of space in the venue and the bathrooms were clean. They don't make their potato salad in house, but she said it's local and everyone loves it. I hope to come back again the next time I'm in Hastings I'll be able to sit and enjoy the ambience a little bit. My favorite part was the blue ceiling! I will say there weren't a lot of lights in the back so it's really dark toward the back half if you're looking for that kind of ambience but if you want more natural light and additional lighting, then you can sit in the front half.
