I have been taking my car to V & J Auto for years (having been familiar with Ash at this location prior, mentioned in earlier posts). I was glad to meet Juan and Vic, who are not only knowledgeable and professional, but welcoming and kind and pleased from the start how they helped me out. I have an older vehicle with issues arising that have always been handled well and feel Juan and Vic are honest and reasonable. When I needed to leave my car without a ride, Juan gave me a ride home nearby, saying he would otherwise offer an Uber that he would pay for. Once when having left my car late at night before New Year's, Juan purposely came in on New Year's Eve day, having my car ready in the afternoon. Things have been done efficiently, whether repairing, replacing parts, any maintenance or diagnosing an engine-light cause. Everything is explained beforehand (unlike some experiences I've had with prior mechanics when apparently having been taken advantage of, especially when being female). I stopped by once when concerned about a tire and Vic was nice enough to replace air in all tires (as I asked about their doing a check-up sometime, since my usual Tune-Up place has closed). I do not relate to what some reviewers are speaking of, since clearly it is not the experience that many others have had with V & J Auto Repair and will count on them to keep my older Mazda up and running. read more

I've been taking the Yukon to Juan for a long while now. I am always greeted and helped quickly. I dropped by today because my rear brake light was out. This was the quickest this ever! Juan took the car and in less then 10 minutes I was out of there. Thank you for taking such great care of us! read more

Juan and co resurfaced/turned my warped rotors (smooth ride but a little shimmy when breaking hard) I had pulled off the car for a very reasonable price and they treated me professionally which makes me want to return going forward read more

Had a bad experience with this mechanic. Sounded like he knew his stuff. Charged me for something he broke and wanted more part money... I bought the part and he said he couldn't finish because it was not purchased with him . Riiip offfff :( Spend the money with someone else. read more

I can't express how grateful I am for these guys. Not only are they the sweetest, they did a great job on my car and I am still in shock that it cost way less than I was quoted. Appreciate their honesty since not many mechanics are. Will keep coming back and sending friends and family here. Thank you V&J!!! Great costumer service. read more

I met Juan some time ago after purchasing a used car for my kid, he did a quick adjustment while I waited and I was down the road motors, he didn't even charge me!! Moving forward, my other car just failed smog and I took it to Juan and Vic's and I was so impressed the first time I was there, they stopped what they were doing and code checked my car with me there to explain the possibility's of what may be causing the issue. It was quite impressive and made me feel super important. They are great folks and are still "Human". PS, car repaired, picking up today, Thank you Juan and Vic!! Nadia read more

I took my van because of the reviews. As any one who is shopping for a reliable and honest mechanic, we rely on reviews. I currently work as an on a paid internship hourly wage which is not much and let alone is my survival money for the month. However, my van had the engine light and I needed my van to be cleared so i can get my tags for the year. So, after reading the 5-star reviews from here, I decided to take my van here. Saturdays were not advised by Juan, so I had to request time from one of the supervisors so I can take my van for inspection. Juan seemed very knowledgable and willing to help me with my van. However, $600 dollars later, my check engine light is still on. He gave me a bag of a gasket and some wires. Since then, my alternator is not working anymore; i have a blown gasket so my engine is running white smoke which now I have to get my original engine looked at; my brakes were shot and I had them replaced before I sent my van to Juan. My radiator and thermometer are busted. As I was paying, his mechanic whispered into his ear.. I had asked what he was saying. No clue. They kept it private. Now I have an undriveable van. I have to take the bus to my internship every day which is not a problem. However, the damage to my van is going to cost me more. So, beware of the mechanic. I feel he did the most damage to my van. I regret it day and day out. This was the last thing my father gave to me when he passed away. Very untrustworthy, unreliable and will steal your money for doing NOTHING! read more

During my last visit, I had to get some work done on my vehicle. Juan was very knowledgeable about my car's make and model. He was very polite and professional and He told me exactly what was happening and why in details. I trust the work that was done on my vehicle because the business owner's are trustworthy and loyal to their business and work. Check it out if anything going on with your vehicle. You won't be disappointed yet Satisfied! read more

I would give this place ten stars if I could. My car was towed here when I was left stranded due to the starter dying. Ash, the mechanic, had me watch as he went through diagnosing the problem with the starter, then picked up the phone to call for the replacement part. He called multiple parts suppliers trying to find the cheapest deal instead of just opting for the first one that he came across and passing the expense on to me. After the part was ordered, he gave me some coffee and Oreos and I was on my way with a 2:00 PM return time. At 2:00 on the dot, I was called to come get my car. Upon arrival, I was sat down to eat an Armenian lunch that Ash was eating. After being stuffed to the gills with food, I grabbed my car, paid a very reasonable rate for parts and labor and was on my way. I've always been suspicious of price gouging by mechanics, but my experience at this place was about as on the level as it could have been. Quick turnaround, fair prices, and a very friendly mechanic. Highly, highly recommended. read more

I highly recommend this auto repair shop. I easily requested a quote to fix a water pump on my Toyota Camry. Juan responded quickly and with a price that was $200 cheaper than Firestone. He also, recommended an option that would save me $70. Juan was very friendly, informative, and my car was ready to pickup after work. This shop will definitely be my go to from now on. read more

Such amazing professional service. Found here on yelp because it has great reviews and I see why. First, it was the most affordable I found. Second, they had me in and out within 45 minutes but most importantly the guy that helped us was so sweet with my kids. He offered we sit in the shade, and was genuinely concerned about my daughter who had bandages on her face. It just felt very authentic and great home town service. This will be our spot from here on out. read more

After 2 other shops ignored my request because it was a small job of changing headlight I arrived at V&J. Juan was immediately on it. He first tested the light bulb to make sure it is ad and that is not another issue. Then he used a quality german made light bulb to replace that of mine. Job well done. I will be back for other repairs my car is sure to need later. Thanks. read more
