They're tiny pots of unseasoned boiled and chilled seafood from about 2.5-4£ a pot depending on whether it's prawns, mussels, cockles, whelks, crayfish, etc. Perfectly size for sampling if you can't commit or want to sample them all. There are condiments available for you to season after, but I prefer to eat them as-is, since plain boiled fresh seafood is already have their own briny flavor.
