It appears that all of the hard work from the broker was just to acquire my business. Once the contract was signed, it became clear that their job was done and all the calling and checking in stopped. NS Auto Transport moved forward with locating a driver( Kotermak Auto Transport) to transport my car from North Carolina to California. My car is a brand new 2023 Dodge Charger that i recently purchased for my son. In short, the transport company delivered my car 1 day late and once they finally arrived with the vehicle, upon inspection of my car, we noticed multiple scratches underneath the car. The scratches happened during the transport, i am guessing during placement of other cars, which required moving my car on and off the trailer. I spoke with the transport company and neither company owned up to the scratches and tried to say the scratches were there when they picked up the car, which is incorrect. Luckily, i was smart enough to take pictures of the car, as well, as video the car inside and out before they picked my car up. Due to the lack of concern and accountability displayed by the companies, i will begin filing a lawsuit to get my car repaired. Therefore, I would encourage all and everyone of you that is looking to get your vehicle transported to stay clear of these two transport companies and brokers. The car was shipped from California to Philadelphia and not once did they update me on my car. I had to constantly call them to find out where and when my car would be delivered. The contract I signed was that my car would be delivered between 7-10 days, I am a pretty reasonable person I expected my car to maybe be 2-3 days late maximum I understand that situations can arise especially driving across the country. My car was supposed to be delivered on Wenseday, Aug 13th I called the company on Tue to find out what time my car would be delivered on Wed thats when I was informed the truck broke down and my car would be delvered on friday. I found it strange that they didnt inform me that I had to inquire and thats how I was notified that there would be a delay. When Friday comes around I call and try to find out what time my car will be delivered thats when I was informed the truck broke down for the 2nd time and they are in new mexico and my car wont be delivered untill Monday. At this point I became furious, how could a company not inform its customers what is going on with there shipment?! Also by then its been over a week, why is my car only as far along as new mexico?! At this point I demanded to speak to a manager, I was informed the managers name was leon and that he flew out to drive the truck. Does that even sound right to you? The manager flew out to drive the truck? Where is the original driver? At that point I belived that either A) Leon is not the manager but a driver pretending to be a manager in order to avoid getting into trouble. B) If leon is the manager and hes driving the truck this is a VERY NEW company and has no organization and maybe one other employee for the entire company. At this point I called the broker I used, All Roads Express. I complained that they not informing me of whats going on with my car. Also I supposedly had leons number but he would barley ever pick up. At this point my family was afraid that this company is a complete fraud and that they just stole my car. I called Nationwide trucking on monday, Aug 18th again asked about the status of my car, finally Leon picks up and tells me he is 1400 miles away and wont be able to bring my car. I call again on Wed and they tell me the truck is having issues and cannot deliver to my home. I payed almost $900 for my car to be shipped and in the contract it says door to door service. I was completely fed up I racked in over $500 in rental car fees for the week because of this. They are not even honoring the contract that I signed with them. Obviously this businuess is compete trash so I HIGHLY doubt they even understand what door to door service means let alone that when a contract is signed and agreed upon both partieds must oblige. I reminded them that the contract is door to door then they say the streets are too small and the truck cant make it. That its against the law for them to drive the truck into Philadelphia suburban streets even on a main road. Obviously this law didn't come into effect that day, this is something I should been informed from the start, to pick up a car from a lot is cheaper why would I pay more money for door to door service when It was impossible from the start for me to get door to door service. I basically got ripped off. Then the dispatcher informs me the address which I looked up was 2 hours away by bus. At that point I just cried I'm a female college student, I really don't feel safe taking a 2 hour bus ride at 10pm to pick up my car when I was never meant to pick up my car in the first place. I called the broker and told them this is not what I agreed to. They called Nationwide Trucking and told them that it was unreasonable for me to take the bus for 2 hours to pick up my car. Then I was told that they would give me a discount also that they would drop my car off in the am. BTW NO DISCOUNT The next morning comes and I at that point fully understood that they would not call me and probably not drop off my car I headed out 10:30 in the morning to go get my car myself. I call the company and ask where is the car lot since I was by the address but couldn't find the exact lot. Then Leon asks me why I didn't call to let them know. hmmm? Why didn't you drop off my car this morning like you were supposed to?? By the time I call Leon it was around 1 pm. He takes to my car that is just sitting in what it looks like a normal business lot no fencing or protection for my car. Which is exactly what I expected from such a pathetic business. I will end on this note, If you want to ship your car NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY, EVER. To Nationwide Trucking Inc., besides Margret, This business will not last much longer and should be closed.
