Really a horrible dealer, please take your business to somewhere more reputable or an actual dealership. Bought a car from this "business" and within a year I'm forced to sell it due to underlying issues that had to have been present since its previous owner. I guess it's my fault for trusting a business that "services" and "inspects" the cars it sells. Genuinely hope this business falls under so no one else gets swindled by these guys. read more

At first I was very hesitant to buy off Dileo's auto sales. Only because there's no sign, and a few cars for sale. When greeted by Elliot he was very personable, and outgoing... not pushy. I was very interested in a truck they had for sale. I told Elliot I would be in contact after I go to my credit union to get approved, and to get a check. By that afternoon I got a check and called Elliot to get the truck ready. When I got to the car lot, the truck was ready. Unfortunately I did not go home with the truck that day be there was a miscommunication with the title and I'm not familiar how dealers work since this has only been my second purchase from a dealer. The next day I ended up purchasing the truck, and Elliot called me 30 minutes after leaving the lot confirming about paperwork. Do not trust them. I went in for a grinding sound when the wheel is locked to the right, they charged me 500$ for a new wheel hub bc the "bearings were bad" but the grinding is still there and they refused to show me the old part that they took out. Also the one mechanic wouldn't stop pressing every button on the key fob as is it was a toy. This is first and last time I go here. Elliot was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish during my hunt for a new used car, which had up until that point been a very exhausting and frustrating one. DO NOT TRUST cars.com reviews. My review was taken off there, which explains why there are only 4 and 5 star reviews posted on the site. The following details my experience there, which you can no longer see on cars.com: I m shocked to see so many good reviews here..... I m a mid 20 something year old and apparently looked ripe for being taken advantage of. I went to check out a 2008 manual transmission scion tC here to be met with intimidation tactics. I enjoyed the test drive but it felt a little shaky when braking. I asked to take it to my mechanic and was told I could the next day, even though Marc told me most people don t do this (which I find hard to believe). Well I m glad I did. The mechanic found a laundry list of things that needed to be fixed on the car, with the repairs potentially costing $1000. Among the things I remember offhand were 2 lights that needed to be replaced, bad windshield wipers blades (the edges were coming off), and a tire with a leak (had been filled up the day before when I took it for a test drive and was low again). More seriously, and expensive, was the fact that the break rotors and emergency break needed to be fixed/adjusted/replaced. You could pull the emergency break all the way up without getting any resistance whatsoever, and considering e-break = park on a manual, that s a HUGE problem for me. When I return to the so-called dealership, I find out the car passed inspection from its own auto body shop earlier the same month. How can so many issues go by unnoticed? Are people meant to see the sticker that says the inspection is good until 7/2014 and think nothing is wrong with the car? Marc seemed offended when I said that I either wanted the all the issues fixed or for him to drop the price $1000 so I could have it fixed after purchase. He told me that there couldn t be that many issues since it just passed inspection in his own shop. After that, he told me that someone called who was interested in the car while I had it at the mechanic (which he agreed to let me do the day before) and because it wasn t there a potential sale was blown. Next he attempted to give me a speech about how he wouldn t want me to learn a life lesson the hard way, that he has a good car for a good price and it will sell quickly so I shouldn t pass up a good deal or something like that. To be honest, I stopped listening halfway through. I was born and raised in Brooklyn and momma didn t raise no fool. I went with my brother to get his first used car, and this was before the internet was around and you could look up the car you want within a 100 mile radius of your zip code. I can tell when someone is trying to pull a fast one on me. After the weekend, I received a call from Marc who asked where I stood on the Scion. I told him I was on the way to a dealership (a real dealership, not an auto body shop) to pick up my new car and I was no longer interested in the Scion. For a little more money, I got a 2009 VW Jetta with half the miles from a dealership. Oh yeah, and when I brought the Jetta to the mechanic and he found an issue, the dealership fixed it without question, and didn t try to strong-arm me. I couldn t be happier with my new car. I hope anyone willing to settle with a car from this place insists on having it checked by their own unbiased mechanic before considering purchasing it. read more

I just purchased an '03 Hyundai Sonata from Marc at Dileo's, which I absolutely love. Having read the review from 2013, I felt I had to write about my experience. I emailed Dileo's on a Friday morning, asking to stop in that afternoon after work to see the Sonata. Marc emailed me back and called to let me know that was fine. Upon arriving, Marc was ready for me. I was able to take the car for a test drive right away. When I asked if I could take the car to my mechanic to be looked at, he told me it wasn't a problem and when did I want to take it. From their office, I called my mechanic and made arrangements to pick up the car the following morning to take it to be looked at. When I got back from that, we talked price, which we came to an agreement that was fair to both of us. Robert and Marc gave me trade in value on my car which was fair also. It was the first time I have ever had a stress free car shopping experience. Marc was polite, fair and did not bullshit me. He did not pressure me in any way about buying the car. I was looking for a good inexpensive Toyota that would be reliable and also a good value, I called Dileos's Auto Sales and spoke with the sales manager and he was very polite and arranged an appointment to show me some of their vehicles, when I arrived at their location I was greeted properly and provided with several options, I asked if I can take the vehicle to my mechanic and I was told that it was not a problem and when would I like to take it? After having the vehicle checked I made the purchase with Dileos's and I have been driving and enjoying my Toyota ever since.
