I was greeted just inside the door by staff and bottle water offered which was appreciated on a hot day. My price point was discussed and I could tell it was not the right fit. After waking both upstairs and downstairs I was impressed with their quality and nice displays. The staff that greeted me did not assist. That was fine. I have been a good customer for Classic, and generally had positive buying experiences there, but what really stands out about the business is their delivery services, specifically from Chuck and Brian. They are, and always have been, courteous, thoughtful, careful and professional. We have two severely autistic children, and the guys always treated them kindly and with the utmost empathy. I hope they are being paid what they are worth! Most movers of their caliber get minimum $25-30 an hour.

The quality of his work is excellent, but what truly sets Matt apart is the kind of person he is. He is honest, dependable, hardworking, and incredibly kind. He takes pride in his work and genuinely wants his customers to be happy with the finished result. More than once, Matt has gone out of his way to help us with additional tasks that weren't part of the original job and didn't charge us extra. That's almost unheard of these days. He never makes you feel rushed, always takes the time to answer questions, and is the type of person who treats your home with the same care and respect he would treat his own. While we've personally used him for smaller projects, his experience goes far beyond that. He is skilled in tile work, bathrooms, kitchens, basement finishing, remodeling, and general home repairs. He is knowledgeable, resourceful, and always seems to find a solution. Good contractors are hard to find. Good people are even harder to find. Matt is both. We noticed this artist meets rustic farm house vibe with the wood, glass, and wheat in one room paired with large abstract color field paintings and textiles. The furniture style seemed to be a blend between artistic mid-century to contemporary, comfortable, and functional pieces. Textile pattern options ranged from geometric, to Ikat, and modern abstraction. If you're a fan of different, you're in luck. We tried out a few cloth and leather couches which felt both firm and nicely crafted. The price points are relatively high however based on our interaction with the owner and employees, as well as testing some of the furniture, we could understand why. The pieces seem to be thoughtfully curated and of high quality. While we did not purchase any furniture on our first visit, based on this experience we'd consider doing so at a later point. Then this guy showed up the very next day and fixed it for about a third of the price. Not only did he get the job done quickly and do great work, he was genuinely one of the most interesting people I've met--had us in discussion about UFOs while he worked. Even brought his wife along, and they were both just super personable and easy to be around. Fast, affordable, and actually enjoyable to have in your home--which is not something you say about most repair jobs. Highly recommend.

I have two gas fireplaces that had difficulty lighting. I called Wooden Sun to service the two…read morefireplaces. Wooden Sun cleaned electrical junction switches, including wall switch and told me the fireplace was igniting consistently. Was told that further problems might indicate a failing valve...whatever that is. Wooden Sun told me the den fireplace was not generating sufficient millivoltage to light the burner. They cleaned this one too, but said the mill voltage was still low and would recommend replacing the pilot assembly as first step and to replace valve as suggested for living room fireplace. I agreed to replacing pilot light assemblies for both fireplaces. But was told they didn't have parts with them in their truck and would have to return. The service call fee was $165 and Wooden Sun advised me that second service call to bring parts they didn't have with them would be an additional $165 service call fee. I objected to paying for two service fees. I was to that pilot light assembly cost would be $400 each plus service fee of $165 plus labor. The afternoon of their service call both fireplaces stopped working and would not ignite after repeated attempts. I called Tiger Fuel after Wooden Sun would not return to correct their failure to perform and service for my two fireplaces. Tiger fuel replaced pilot light assemblies in both fireplaces for under $200 each, and the fireplaces have ignited consistently since without issue. I would not recommend Wooden Sun as a service repair for gas fireplaces.

Mounted above the bar were two additional cabinets and two floating shelves. The craftsmanship and installation are top notch. Mike was very careful during his pre-quote visit, and during subsequent discussions, to consider and evaluate every detail. Consequently, the installation of the completed product went without any surprises. It was seamless. It looks like the wet bar was part of the original construction of the house. Although, this was a custom job, it turned out much better--and bigger--than what the home builder offered, and at the same price. Throughout the process, Mike was accessible and responsive. The entire experience was great and we couldn't be happier. Mike and Cloud Cabin Arts are enthusiastically recommended.
