We delivered some items for reupholstering and asked for the status when the material was received. After repeatedly requesting information on the status of our items we never received a reply. Finally, almost 3 months later, we received an email with an outrageous billing amount and informing us that the items were ready. You will be asked for a deposit to be "put on their list". Ask how long the list is and what the projected date of your work being completed might be. In my case, they could not project a date but received a complicated reply of why they can't project their work schedule. I was on their list for five+ months. I finally gave up and asked for my deposit back. At first I was told no, then yes, but I would have to drive into their office to pick up a check. Eventually, they relented and mailed the check. Danny's Quality Upholstery came to our rescue yet again! After repairing an antique piano bench and a chair built by my great grandfather, i knew we had to reach out to Danny yet again for our two year old custom leather covered sofa. Within one year of ownership, one cushion became discolored and rough even though it was rarely used. The establishment where we purchased the sofa agreed that the leather was flawed and needed to be replaced. Regrettably this particular establishment lost the cover. After a year of no show appointments, phone calls and texts that were never returned, we were set to outlay a ton of cash to purchase another sofa and loveseat. Then we remembered Danny's amazing work. Danny came to the rescue again! He was able to acquire the exact same hide from the manufacturer, use another cushion as a template and construct a new cushion from scratch. We anticipated a slight color deviation since the sofa is two years old. To our surprise, it is impossible to tell the new cushion from the other two cushions. Danny one of the most honest people I have come across in the service business and maintains integrity that is demonstrated through the quality of work done here. While the place may not be the most upscale looking from the outside, there is absolutely no compromise in attention to detail in getting things done right. I brought in my E36 BMW for a headliner repair and they fixed even the sunroof switch cover that was not part of the job. The A pillar was reattached properly and the headliner looks just about good as new and matches the previous fabric. This is all not to mention that the work was done well within a reasonable price and it is safe to say that if any of my future cars have headliner or upholstery issues I will be bringing them back here. 10/10 experience. read more

I met Danny when they were contracted to reupholster furniture at my then place of employment. He and his assistant were very professional and very pleasant to work with. I really wanted to use his services for reupholstering furniture in my own home. In the past few months I have taken an antique rocker and two side chairs that were all handmade by my great grandfather in the mid 1800's. Danny replaced the springs in the side chairs and just today repaired a spindle and arm in the rocker. He took great care in his repair and noted that since the spindles were all hand carved he would repair rather than replace the spindle. His workmanship is impeccable and it's impossible to find his repair. His repair on the rocker took 20 minutes and he refused payment because he said he was honored to work on a handcrafted antique. He has also reupholstered the leather seats in two mission style rockets that belonged to my grandmother. He is honest and does amazing work. I can't recommend him enough. Additionally, Danny replaced the convertible top on our BMW at half the cost charged by the dealer. Amazing work! read more

I had to call Danny when I got to the GPS-guided destination--the entrance is actually around to the back of the large building on Market and Mead. My puppy ate the leather off a button and pulled it loose, on my tufted ottoman. I ordered a replacement button, and brought it over to Danny unannounced. He fixed it in about 5 minutes flat (and loaded it and unloaded it into my car!). When I went to pay him, he wouldn't charge me!!! Danny just reupholstered my couch, which my cat had torn to shreds. He was creative in working with me--I wanted to keep my original fabric, which has been discontinued, so he took fabric off the back to use on the front, and covered the back with a different but coordinating fabric. He was also extremely responsive and patient when I asked him to make an adjustment to the arms. And he's very honest--wouldn't take extra money from me for the replacement fabric because he said it was something lying around his shop, even though I was perfectly willing to pay for it. I ordered a sofa online and it came with a broken zipper from my seat cover. I was so frustrated with how long it would take the company to ship me a brand new, so I decided to look for a shop that could fix it and sew it back together. I called Danny's quality upholstery and they answered right away. They were really friendly, told me to come on over and helped me right away. They told me it was no problem and it could be fix next day. The gentlemen at the shops were efficient and really helpful. My cushion was fixed and looked much better. It also seems so much sturdier than it was before. I was happy with how quick and professional they were with a reasonable price! What they did for me was minor but They told me they work with planes, boats, cars, and couches etc. They seem to have a variety of fabric and different materials you can choose from. They ordered the material, and on the day that I arrived for installation, they called to remind me of my appointment, they gave me a lift to work, and they completed the job all in one day. When I picked up the car, the work looked great, and the transaction was easy-- just as we had discussed during my quote. I was even having some trouble figuring out something completely unrelated that was going on with my dashboard, and they stayed to help me fix that and had me taken care of in record time.
