Josh showed up today, about ten minutes before the event was to begin, only to figure out that his truck was not functioning. I am puzzled that he would not have given his equipment a dry run earlier in the day, prior to arriving at my home shortly before 11:00 AM. He made no effort to fix the problem, nor did he even appear to have any tools in his possession or knowledge regarding the mechanics of the truck/trailer. He was quick to inform me that he was the franchise owner, but had no ability to get another truck to my son's party or fix the one parked on my street. I understand that "things happen", but not testing equipment prior to a mid-morning event, what appeared to be a lack of equipment maintenance, a total lack of a contingency plan, and making no effort to fix the Gametruck (or call someone capable) is unacceptable by basic business standards. My son ended his birthday party in tears, and we had ten very disappointed little boys on our hands when they understood that the Gametruck would not be coming back to the party. I would seriously think twice before renting this particular Gametruck for a party or special event because there is NO back up or contingency for your event by the franchise owner. Zero.

There were several follow ups from the staff prior to the party and the owner Cory even went over parking accommodations and requested that we let the neighbors know that the gaming trailer would be parked on the block for several hours so it would not inconvenience anyone (very considerate)! Two game coaches arrived early and set up within 10 minutes. They went over all of the rules with the guest, gave our son a bag of goodies then let us (the birthday boy, mom & dad) go on board to check out the trailer to make sure it was up to our standards (and it was definitely up to our standards)! Our son had about 16 friends come to his party and they had a blast! They all enjoyed three and a half hours of gaming and virtual reality in comfortable, air conditioned state-of-the-art accommodations and we topped it off with cake, ice cream and a bag full of goodies for everyone!
